    Would have been nice to have Vosean Joseph available at this point in the season. I think he would have pushed for quite a few snaps by now.

    I'd like to see Johnson play and sit Hughes. Also like to see Boetteger play at LG and let Spain sit. Possible that neither Spain nor Hughes will be here next year. See what we have with the other two.

    After the bye, we were down 14-9 to the Fins going into the 4th quarter and looked pretty sluggish. I think you have to play non-nicked starters for at least the 1st half. I definitely don't want Allen 'resting'. I want him learning & competing as much as possible, every week.

    Trying to imagine the reaction from his teammates, fans, media & NFL if Our Josh had been put out of the game by a haymaker to the nutsack. When I was ~ 8 years old, I slid down the front of our 1947 Pontiac after a snowstorm, not even thinking about the hood ornament. Sixty years later, I still think about that hood ornament.

    When Al Michaels said the Bills were going to the playoffs, I think he may have been simultaneously scraping a dog turd off his shoe, because he sounded disgusted by the moment.

    Since it is illegal to capture a player's attention by smacking him with a 2" x 4", do the next best thing. Bench Knox. Maybe he'll wake up and after 13 games, get it through his skull that catching the ball is his job. Patience, my glutes.

    I hope the heavy emphasis in practice this week is blitz recognition. Will cut way back on the possibility of strip sacks/missed blocks.

    Knox has been targeted 45 times, caught 26, dropped 9. 20% drop rate is absurd and his catching ability does not seem to be improving. I'd move Sweeney up. Catching the ball is a fundamental part of the position, otherwise, Knox is a 2nd Lee Smith. A blocker. IMO.

    If you have a 10 - 12 year outlook, I don't see anyone on this list (http://www.espn.com/nfl/qbr/_/week/13) I'd take over JA. Shorter term (1 - 3 years) ... maybe a few guys, but long term, I would stick with Our Josh.

    When he wakes up this morning and looks at these NFL stats which show him to have a lower NFL QB rating than Our Josh, he'll open a massage parlor and retire.
