  1. If the Patriots lose today, we should stop thinking about Wildcard. This might be the year.
  2. ++ Good call on this OP!
  3. Wonder if Hauschka will be active today.
  4. Football doesn't seem to be at all important to him, but being a firebrand may be his future. I'd expect politics to be the next, suitably sleazy career.
  5. I think I'd go the rest of the season for Garrett and Pouncey. Be it helmet to the head or cleat to the head, the minimum intent is serious injury.
  6. Be interesting to see if the Cleveland DA brings assault charges. I didn't sleep anywhere near a Holiday Inn last night, but I think the DA can do that regardless of Rudolph's decision.
  7. Josh gets 2.5 seconds. Everyone else gets 2.5 days on the couch (with no contact) and still fugsitup.
  8. Once again, we came out after halftime with all of our 'adjustments' and yet again, didn't score in the 3rd quarter. Time for Dorsey ... or anybody.
  9. There were quite a few posts about the Eagles and the Browns being 'desperate' teams. It's our turn.
  10. 1) Best I can figure is that Daboll thinks our OL is soft & isn't capable of run blocking. 2) We have an extra point kicker but we don't have a field goal kicker and we really should get one of those.
  11. No pop in his leg. Like a QB with a weak arm that overthrows. Kicker belongs on the list. 1) Pass rusher 2) WR 3) Kicker 4) CB
  12. I'd probably have to throw those sheets in the hamper.
  13. DL gets their hands up against this little squirt & we'll get a couple of picks.
  14. Arm length. He'd have too many problems.
  15. Ravens game already makes me nervous. Was it New Orleans that ran 20+ consecutive 'down your throat and out the chute' plays against us?
  16. We've scored a total of 16 points in the 3rd quarter which makes me wonder about halftime 'adjustments'. Try Dorsey calling the plays in the 3rd quarter. McDermott can announce it as being 'part of the process'.
  17. Tre has a knack for making a big play when we need it most. I expect a big one each week. Getting spoiled.
  18. Good and getting better. Made a couple of very improbable escapes, though it is starting to feel 'normal'.
  19. - I think Singletary just became our lead back. Offense should perk up going forward. - My guess is that McDermott watched the 1st and goal from the 2 devolve into a 42 yard field goal and told Daboll 'cut the crap', which led to Gore, Gore, Gore, Gore, etc. Somewhere in-between would be better. I think the offense has finally started to come together. Fewer mistakes, fewer penalties, 6 of 12 on 3rd downs + a handful of big plays. Trending up.
  20. Daboll finally got around to tuning up the Motor.
  21. 301 yards passing with 290 of it from screens. Give people something to argue about all week ... 'it shouldn't count, it was all screens!'
  22. I read this thread, then I read this article from Scientific American: Scientists Demonstrate Direct Brain-to-Brain Communication in Humans Work on an “Internet of brains” takes another step Now I am concerned, leaning towards nervous. I may have to go off the grid.
  23. Tidbit: The #1 rated punter in the NFL is Washington's Tress Way. His average punt is 50.2 and net is 45.0. The 30th rated punter (avg of at least 2.5 punts per game) is our own Corey Bojorquez. Corey averages 42.6 with a 35.1 net. So if we punt 10 times, we would likely score a touchdown against ourselves, but of course this is all theoretical.
  24. I think Beane and McDermott just told the players: "We trust you to get it done. Make it happen." Instead of a negative take on the current group, could be communicated as a vote of confidence .... or at least that is how the players hopefully see it.
  25. I think some people forget that the other team's players also get paid. Some people are more forgetful than others.
