  1. I hope he does something because right now, there is blood in the water. Every team will be ramming it down our throats.
  2. That was definitely a Team Loss. Hope Beane is sniffing around for a run stuffing DT, because the run D is starting to look ugly.
  3. Wow, wind gusts of 45-50. Post victory, today is the day he throws it out of the stadium. edit: People gave me strange faces, so I will elaborate. After Josh drives us in the final seconds to the winning touchdown and aided by a trailing 50 mph wind, he will throw the ball out of the stadium.
  4. I wonder what Goff's Total QBR (espn's special, secret pudding) would be if he had played the Patriots?
  5. Doesn't pass the smell test.
  6. I looked in the source code for these pages and they all appear to be using (probably paying for) the same code (stats) from stats.com. I looked in fox sports code to see where they are getting their #'s, but it is a little thick of a read for me. Probably a poster here somewhere that writes code would be able to figure it out. So anyway, there are likely 2 different services in play, not a bunch. Based on my feeble memory, I think Fox's numbers look more accurate.... 6 vs 2.
  7. At least 1 Service reports it as 6, which is the most drops in the league and that is with only 23 attempts. Think about that. 12 catches, 6 drops + 5 other, meaning that he catches very catchable balls only 2 out of 3 times. Add that to 3 penalties, Kroft being back and to me, it looks to be time to send him back to Phase 1 of the process. Make him inactive and give Sweeney a swing at success.
  8. "four of their first six opponents currently have two or fewer wins" 6 of 7 for the Pats.
  9. I guess 13 drops (our current stat) for the entire team is probably not unusual, but I'm thinking 6 drops out of 23 attempts (Dawson Knox) IS outside the norm. Tied for the most in the NFL, with few targets. https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/buffalo-bills-team-stats?season=2019&week=0&category=RECEIVING Knox catches those, Josh's completion % is 65.6% instead of 62.4%. Now that Kroft is back and seemingly survived his first game, I wouldn't be surprised to see Knox's snap count to come way down.
  10. This could mean good things for the 2nd game vs divisional opponents. He'll be more ready for the 'different looks' and get a better start to each game. Beating the Pats in game 2 is not impossible.
  11. I watched his lips and I think he said "Trade me Beane." It was either that or "Troll thread."
  12. 23 targets and 4 drops. Knox drops 1 more & he will deservedly get a bad hands rep.
  13. 1) I think they are 1-3 on the road. 2) Cox had X-rays, should know soon about his condition. 3) If they weren't fired up for a game vs Dallas, not sure why the Bills would provide extra inspiration. 4) Wonder what the record is the following week for teams coming off an away Sunday night loss and then playing the next game away. 5) Hopefully Milano is back. Also hope Beane is snooping around, because if there is any injury, we are vulnerable at LB.
  14. I think their starting Center is out, so their OL may be quite the mess -- especially with crowd noise. Could be a tough day for the Fins.
  15. In spite of being cleared, he doesn't want to play. Why would we want someone on the team that doesn't want to play?
  16. Heard this morning on an espn radio show that he's throwing the ball around with coaches. Sounds like he hasn't given up.
  17. Banged Up Bills@BangedUpBills 'Light aerobic tells me Stage 2.' Since all the entire team did was light aerobic, kind of makes it sound like the entire team (except Milano) is in Stage 2 of the concussion protocol. Becoming the best team in football is not supposed to be easy.
  18. They probably won't beat them, but I hope they damage them.
  19. Pretty bad. I'm still recovering from: - Easter bunnies not laying edible chocolate eggs all over the yard (age 4) - The Tooth Fairy NOT putting that quarter under my pillow (age 5) - The whole Santa Claus debacle (age 7) - Professional Wrestlers rehearsing their moves with each other (age 43) Refs like that make the game look fixed.
  20. I'll spend the majority of the day worrying about Milano's hamstring. If I'm not too pushed for time, I'll switch over to Morse's ankle but I make no promises.
  21. If Milano's hamstring is bad, we might see a trade for a LB.
  22. Opposite side of the ball, but I said the same thing about Oliver's arm length and I was wrong. Feet and anticipation might overcome the 32 1/2". Worth a longer look, IMO.
  23. Makes me wonder if they may make a change at RT.
  24. OL had a few guys out. Daboll may have been leaning on the perceived strengths of the group that was out there.
