Week 7: Dolphins at Bills (-17)
Boatdrinks replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not misleading at all, it’s exactly what it is. How often they score TDs when the offense is at the opposing 20 yard line and in. Who the heck thinks red zone percentage indicates anything else? -
TNF: KC @ Denver 8:20 ET on Fox and NFLN

Two AFCE teams. Can’t root for either, so I just root for them to beat the crap out of each other. Whatever happens happens, you don’t pull for a division rival unless it gives your team the division or puts them in the playoffs. Way too soon for that. -

if only someone would dislocate Brady’s kneecaps... -
I’d like to see Allen start making better plays vs the blitz. It’s not the be -all end -all, but it’s important and a good way to make teams think twice about blitzing. They will continue until you beat it, to be certain. The PFF rankings mean jack squat, good or bad.

The AFC is a dumpster fire this season
Boatdrinks replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They won there in the 92 playoffs divisional round, Frank Reich at QB. I honestly can’t think of another Bills win @ PIT. That game in December is not going to be easy. -
I agree, those runs he made last year would shorten his career. Defenders will take cheap shots, as we’ve already seen. A guy who is the master of the slide ( and sure seems to have eyes in the back of his helmet) , Russell Wilson, is about the only player that can truly get away with it.

Another Raider, OT Trent Brown, Domestic Violence Lawsuit
Boatdrinks replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. These guys need to realize in this “ woke” day and age, big money means women looking to take some of it for nothing. The whole # me too thing is out of hand. It needs a prefix. “ want a bunch of free money ? “ . Me too! Not the NFL but the story of the side chick of Matt Lauer is totally ridiculous. She got paid$$ and a book deal lol. Pretty much she was fine being the sidepiece, then got dumped and suddenly the whole relationship was “ rape”. Liberal judges and attorneys are a scourge on society. -
How has McDermott done with this team so far?
Boatdrinks replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
B+ right now. Could definitely be bumped up to an A or A+ at some point. Interesting to see how the Bills handle this next four game stretch now that they’ve had some success. It will have a big impact on their playoff positioning come week 17. Schedule is a little tougher from Thanksgiving on. -
Updated - RayRay Cut by the Panthers *Re-signed by Bills
Boatdrinks replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow! Hope he never gets in a game, unless you like fumbles. Some guys never learn the proper way to hold onto the ball. Hope he “ gets it” at some point, but not encouraged. -
Oh, I agree it would be disappointing to most fans. I said it might be likely though. All it would take is for the Bills to drop a game that they are probably favored in. This happens to many NFL teams over the course of a season. 4-2 would obviously have them in great shape and looks to be achievable. 6-0 would probably surprise even the most ardent homers , except perhaps the OP.

Refs for the Bills game are... (updated weekly)

Ugh , 3 former Parry crew members. Expect myriad offensive holding calls vs Bills and maybe a roughing the passer or two. Old habits die hard... -

Interesting. I’ve never once thought that about Lofton, I love his analysis and always find his comments interesting . He’s a well spoken guy, I’ve also never heard the type of commentary you describe from him, but perhaps I missed it. Your quote sounds an awful lot like Phil Simms. So glad he’s no longer in the booth. -
The jets wil beat the *pats
Boatdrinks replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Jets find a way to defeat the Pats*, it says absolutely nothing about the Bills. The Dolphins beat New England at home the last two seasons, which the Bills could not do. The Bills have won 3 of their last 4 against Miami. It really doesn’t mean a thing. -
Kaepernick Black-balled?
Boatdrinks replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, though I would be all for doing so if the idiotic protests were still continuing. Many posters who keep tossing around terms like “ social justice” and saying things like “ outrage over the anthem..” are totally missing the point. The problem with Kaep isn’t about anthem or kneeling or any of that. It’s his message, and it’s a very dangerous one that is infecting the country as we speak. Social justice is a euphemism . Kaep and people like him use that term, when really they are talking about turning the values and mores of American society upside down. They use a few highly publicized unfortunate accidents to push their manifesto. They envision a nation where criminals and thugs are empowered, not imprisoned. The bad guys have more rights and Cops and law enforcement have less, and law abiding citizens have little recourse against those who commit theft, burglary and other crimes against people and their property. We’re seeing it all around us with horrible ideas like decriminalizing certain acts and eliminating cash bails to get criminals back on the streets and causing more mayhem before the system finally catches up to them and puts them behind bars. Democratic politicians are carrying out Kaeps vision daily right before our eyes. This is much more important and bigger than football or the NFL. He wants to destroy the American way of life and a whole political movement agrees with him. A civil war is probably going to happen in our lifetime if it continues. He’s a dangerous icon of a dangerous movement. It’s amazing to me that anyone sees him as some kind of sympathetic figure. -
Week 7: Dolphins at Bills (-17)

Have to entice bettors to put $$ down on Miami. They’re 0-5, so that = big spread. -
Ugh, was hoping for Red on white. Hate the all reds.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are 5-1. Two teams with winning records and an elite QB. Watson’s good, but the Pack have more star power and a legacy franchise.
