Yes, they are still an offense with a lot of new parts, and not a complete unit yet. They still don’t have a true #1 WR , and are playing with rookie TEs. Definitely not a finished product. Having a top defense may influence Daboll to keep things low risk as well.

It seems their drives have stalled on penalties, turnovers , and sacks. Don’t know if the numbers back this up.

I actually thought Alexander’s horse collar was a smart penalty at the time. It was blatant, but thatbplay looked like it was going for huge yardage if he didn’t.

The Bills couldn’t score a TD in a very winnable playoff game with Tyrod so not sure why he’s being mentioned here. He’s too low of a bar to shoot for. The Bills are 4-1 and in good shape, even with a young flawed Allen. He still has potential to improve. I’d say a C+ so far.
