I’d have to say no. Pats fans are highly suspect humans, and hanging around them for more than a forced moment or two is troubling. Anyone not born and raised in BOS that openly roots for that team has major character flaws and should not be trusted. The coach and players are totally unlikable personalities. A true Bills fan would have left immediately and found a more suitable venue, preferably one filled with normal fans, most of whom despise the Pats* and realize they are the worst thing that ever happened to the NFL.

Would be odd to make a roster move to leave a spot vacant for a few weeks, though. Why cut a player if you don’t have to ?

Isn’t he on the 53 ( 52) already?

Are the hits in hockey that cause concussions happening at a greater rate of speed and velocity than NFL hits, thus producing more injurious results ? While NFL football is a far more physically taxing game than hockey ( no way you couldn’t play that many games and have enough healthy bodies in football) the speeds hockey players reach flying around the ice would appear greater than a player that is running on grass or turf. Maybe I’m way off base, idk.

Week 5: Bills (+2.5) at Titans
Boatdrinks replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The self inflicted wounds seem to be the Bills biggest problem right now. Hopefully that’s a good sign. The assembled offensive talent still needs a couple pieces, but it seems they could be at least an average to slightly above unit if they clean up the unforced errors. -

Where did I say a 21 point output is a valiant effort? The numbers I gave illustrate it as clearly average . With the Bills defense, average offense should win a lot of games. I’d love for last years 30 th ranked passing offense to be a top 5 scoring unit this year, but in their current form I’d venture that would be a stretch. -

Currently in 2019 an offense scoring 24 points per game would be in the top ten of the league. 21 ppg puts you square in the middle (Bills are currently at 19 ppg and 23rd overall). While the Bills need to improve in that category , they are still a work in progress after a major offensive overhaul. They also have a top defense. So for this team, with the stout defense that they play I’d say the offense scoring 21 points should win them a lot of games. By the end of the year, I’d like for that output to be higher. 21 ppg however is respectable and not far off from the top ten. The Bills still need a couple skill position players and more O line cohesion , in addition to improved play from Josh Allen. -

I really can’t stand all these commercials ( curiously shown during NFL games) that feature the god awful sound of a buzzing alarm clock. Reflexively makes me want to jump out of my chair. -

Mahomes is an unbelievable talent. He’s the best QB in his first 25 games in NFL history and it’s not even close. He’s got talent around him, but he’d elevate any WR on the field. -

It’s the same offense. The game plan will change, but no one is installing a new offense for a backup QB. -
Have You Started To Lose Faith in Josh Allen?
Boatdrinks replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not defending Allen blindly. Anyone who has watched realizes there are flaws in his game. I’m pulling for him for sure, but have no idea if he can be the long term answer or not. Nobody knows, but some claim to be clairvoyant and have all the answers. Allen hasn’t come close to having a perfect game, that’s my opinion. Don’t try to frame my thoughts without knowing what they are. It’s not the same because I’m not saying he will or he won’t. He’ll either improve and succeed or he won’t and another QB will be brought in to replace him. As a Bills fan, I’m just along for the ride. -

Many in the media and especially analytics types care more about being right than anything else. Lots of these folks are numbers geeks , not sports types. When they’re wrong they are silent. That’s the media world we live in today . Hot takes and declarations get more clicks than nuance. It’s an example of opinion from someone who has observed the change in media over the years. -

There will be plenty of Allen detractors quickly cranking out columns about how terrible he is. When he wins he will garner faint praise and many will be silent. This will likely follow him his whole career as media types won’t rest in their quest to be right.
