To be fair , this is a Bills board. Not really a place for endless Mahomes ( or other non- Bills player)banter. -

Interesting.... it doesn’t bother me in the least. Almost seems refreshing at this point with the endless NE stuff. Different division too... -

They do, but Mayfield’s probably not as putrid as he looked Monday night. Interesting bounce back game to see how he performs. SEA is still a pretty good team. -

From a Bills perspective , fans should root for a Chiefs win. Though we don’t play either team, it has something to do with SOV tiebreaker -

Mayfield with a rushing TD....looks much better so far than he did vs SF -

Not sure either of these teams can score 20... -
If the Bills stay relatively healthy , I think their 4-1 start gives them a good look at 10-6. I think they will have losses to PHL, DAL, PIT, and NE. Also one game that most fans would expect them to win, as over the course of a season this happens to most teams. Even the Pats*. So 10-6 and a WC berth. At that point it comes down to the matchup, but their defense should give them a good shot at a road victory and a trip to KC in the divisional round.

We've scored TDs on 10 of 14 redzone trips??
Boatdrinks replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Regardless of how the Bills are scoring their TDs , Allen’s tossed an alarmingly high number of INTs so far this season. The team has overcome them, so it’s not entirely off base. Allen has had a lot to do with their winning as well ; the Bills aren’t exactly hiding their QB. -
I didn’t see any disrespect toward the Bills fan base at all in the article. Complimentary , in fact. The writer is correct to point out that the Bills haven’t exactly been an iconic franchise that has ( bandwagon) fans all over the place after years of winning. While it’s true that the Cowboys, Steelers etc have those fans everywhere , the writer does seem a bit naive about just how many WNYers have fled south due to high taxes and brutal weather. Not all those Bills fans traveled to Nashville from Buffalo. The Bills have fans all over the southeastern US in particular, and their loyalty comes from their WNY roots. They’re not bandwagon fans following a big winner rather than root for a team closer to their geographical location.

Was Josh Allen faster last season ?
Boatdrinks replied to bills11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At times it looks that way. Teams are focusing on taking away alleys in the middle where he would often escape, so it’s most likely due to that. Not as much wide open space to really take off. -
The State of Pre Game and Post Game shows...
Boatdrinks replied to thronethinker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mostly unwatchable these days. Ex -Pat talking heads turning most every discussion back to the Patriots, BB etc. I usually turn them off after a few minutes , at the first mention of NE. It rarely takes longer than that. -
Just what I wanted to see; thanks for compiling these numbers. Pretty revealing stuff, and shows this is a glass half full situation that can easily improve. If the Bills were able to come away with just a FG on only half of those drives inside the opponents 40 and beyond ( not an overly generous result imo) they would jump to 14th in points. That’s right below New Orleans and more than respectable output. This offense can increase their scoring even without major personnel changes.

Well, I’m referring to the electorate and their knowledge of candidates. Now you’re talking about some information about voters that Trump supposedly has. Seems much ado about nothing, unless they could somehow weed out illegals and others who are ineligible to vote. Anyway, the voting public decides the election, not the candidates. You seem terrified of information.

Deangelo Hall says Tre has been a top 3 corner...
Boatdrinks replied to Stank_Nasty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Always hated Hall. He was the first domino to fall in the sequence of events that cost the Bills Ben Roethlisberger in the 04 draft. Shortly after he was picked, HOU got nervous that they wouldn’t get their CB with the Bills pick and cancelled their trade with the Bills. Ugh ! -
The problem with Bills offenses over the years hasn’t been their running game, though. They’ve lacked a modern NFL passing offense for years. That won’t be solved by running the ball more and limiting Allen. In the Bills defense, Daboll doesn’t seem like he wants to play 1970’s football. They need to clean up their execution on offense, not start playing small ball.

Any All-Pro Bills this year?
Boatdrinks replied to Drunken Pygmy Goat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They don’t have guys that are going to put up the numbers needed to make all pro. S Micah Hyde is a possibility, as that position doesn’t get the numbers that CBs do. Good solid team with no “ names “ . -
Exactly. Plays have been there and missed by Allen and others. It seems whenever an offense has issues, some fans resort to “ play calling “ as being the problem. It’s a false association, ie it didn’t work so you should have called the other thing blah blah blah. Aside from a couple questionable moments ( calling a second straight QB sneak on 4th and longer than a yard for example) Daboll has had a pretty good feel with his calls. Unless you have a clueless Dennison style run, run, pass scenario, play calling is the most overused cliche “ problem” in the book. It’s generally a lazy complaint.
