  1. Well that’s just plain ridiculous. Allen is the Bills QB until he convinces the Bills GM and HC that he shouldn’t be. If that happens, another QB will likely be drafted and the whole thing starts all over again. Nothing to be depressed about. If he’s not any good, they’ll try someone else.
  2. The key part to me is the last sentence of the paragraph. Seems pretty clear. Your mileage may vary, of course.
  3. Doesn’t matter, according to the rule posted by the OP. The entire paragraph must be read and applied.
  4. Read the last sentence and maybe you change your mind. It seems pretty obvious. I don’t care if you do or not, it’s just pretty clearly stated in the OPs post. The sentence you highlight isn’t the key phrase here. If I hear from say, Gene Steratore that the meaning is something other than what I see here, I’d believe that.
  5. Is Webb on the PS ? I don’t even know. I’d imagine we’ll see a move made Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest if it appears that Allen won’t go .
  6. He clearly leaped over the LOS. Penalty should have resulted. Read the rule. He can’t cross the line of scrimmage , he can leap up in place to attempt to block the kick .
  7. While Zay Jones may not directly be a huge reason for any Bills losses , many fans want to see a WR that can actually be the difference in a win. That’s not Zay. The Bills need better players at the WR position.
  8. A McDermott player simply isn’t going to make that cheap shot hit, so no defending would be needed. If that was McDs style, Tom Brady is getting fitted for replacement kneecaps today.
  9. Hey doesn’t fight for the ball, seems unaware of what’s going on around him ( watched a db make an INT instead of “ playing defender” and knocking the ball away from him. His hands are questionable. He was a second round pick and should be a larger factor out there than what he is. His performance is what you’d expect of a 4th round player.
  10. Allen throws INTs when he forces the ball into coverage when he’s frustrated or just overconfident. However, he can physically make just about any throw. That’s a fixable problem. Nathan Peterman is not physically capable of throwing a deep out pattern with enough velocity to avoid being intercepted by NFL caliber DBs. So when he attempts one ( the throw is a key part of NFL offenses) the likelihood of it being picked off is very high. This isn’t about draft status, it’s about correctable flaws.
  11. I think the D has a letdown game and the offense flounders with Barkley under center. The Promising 3-0 start quickly becomes 3-2 and the Bills face an uphill slog to stay in WC contention . Amazing how fast things can change. If Allen doesn’t get injured yesterday, I’d feel completely different but not right now.
  12. I completely agree on the importance of this game. It will loom larger than the NE game in the Bills WC picture. As for the protocol, since it was implemented I believe the average amount of time a player stays in it is just under two weeks. That would mean Allen likely misses at least the TEN game. In the past , players went back 8nto the same game that they were injured in. Those days are gone.
  13. Nope. If the hero ball is going on in week 15 I’ll be concerned for next season.
  14. This is bs. Concussion protocol rules, nothing more. No interviews and no updates until out of the protocol. Doesn’t matter if you’re Josh Allen or the punter. Same rules.
  15. Fighting for a first down and a guy took liberties outside the rules. I still want a QB that can fight for yardage, just a cheap shot and he will have to concede earlier by giving himself up. Love the fight in him though.
  16. I’ve got to think that Pat D lineman leaping over the line threw the timing off just a bit. Kick sailed left slightly. A clean kick and I’d guess he makes it.
  17. I’d rather not imagine it. There’s a silly segment of fans that love to root for backup QBs and less talented players than the starters. I’ve never understood the fascination. Barkley is fine in his role, that’s about it.
  18. The Patriot way requires all who follow to be a band of lowlifes. Everyone seems to fall in line. You have to be majorly compensating for something in your life to actually root for that team. I trust no one that openly admits to being a Pats* fan ( verbally, wearing gear etc etc)
  19. No team is going to let you run on them all day with your backup QB in there, I’m afraid.
  20. Secondary market opportunists sell to enemy fans. It’s a disgrace.
  21. This will sort itself out as the season goes on. ‘The OL needs more games together before we can tell where the issues are for sure.
  22. Ones the hitter and the other is the hitee Yep. Need to see the correct angle then it’s obvious.
  23. Not really. Ivory and guys like that are much lower to the ground so lots of incidental stuff. This guy led with his helmet at a QB that was more upright. All about intent here.
