  1. More like had a blueprint to destroy a bad defense that can’t stop the run and doesn’t tackle with sound techniques. Stud O lineman always help, but trying to keep a great QB and potent offense off the field is nothing new.
  2. This ^^. It’s a year to year league, and if the Bills are in a good spot around the trade deadline they should be willing to make moves. Next year’s schedule appears tougher as well. Nothing is guaranteed , so they have to take shots when they have them.
  3. Fans want to see production that matches a players draft status / FA contract. Yeldon gets heat for his fumble, but fans don’t “ hate” ( overused snowflake term) on a 3rd RB if they’re being serious. He gets a handful of snaps and has done OK. Jones was a second round pick that the Bills moved up for and was expected to be a good WR 2. For various reasons, he didn’t produce in the way the team wanted him to. Fans see it, and are critical of that. It’s not “ hate”.
  4. Far too many ex-Pat dill holes on the NFL talking- head shows. Most are unwatchable now as every discussion somehow turns back to the Pats*.
  5. It’s their second year with no Wood .
  6. Except the media talks about the big market teams whether they’re winning or not. There’s definitely a bias toward those teams. No big deal, but it’s there.
  7. I don’t know if I can put KC in at 2 anymore. They lost to the Colts at home, and they play defense like a big 12 team.
  8. Duke may not set the world on fire, but the team realized it was time for a change. ZJ was a disappointment relative to his draft status.
  9. It’s mostly not luck, but those two instances were absolutely just sheer stupidity. Neither ATL or SEA were “ forced “ into anything. That’s just mythological hocus- pocus nonsense. Just media and ex-Pat drivel and utterly bunk.
  10. Not sure, but the Bills were right there with the Texans last season on the road until Allen was injured. Peterman came in and put the game away...for Houston. I’d give HOU the edge because Watson is incredible.
  11. I’ll never forgive him for that quarter of stupidity. He’s right there with the Seahawks. Lifetime ban from rooting for them.
  12. I think their speed is pretty good with John Brown and Foster ( when healthy). They need a number 1 WR with elite size more than a small fast guy.
  13. Not enough hotel rooms to host a SB. Would not happen even if a new facility is built imo.
  14. Lol don’t know. Wouldn’t shock me though. Tom Rathman I believe
  15. Dill holes. Zay doesn’t play with fire or passion. Buh- Bye.
  16. Guy was glass and too concerned about his Olympic training to focus on football. Needed a wake up call, Bills couldn’t get through to him. No big deal.
  17. Yep. Their TEs have done squat. CIN is officially a joke losing to AZ. Trades on the horizon
  18. Niners look pretty darn good, Bosa is a terror. . I think the Bills need to be in the market for an edge rusher to put their defense over the top.
  19. I understand being able to score points , but as you point out offense still can be unreliable at times. The pendulum has swung so far to the offensive side with football analysts that they almost treat having a top defense as passé. KC defense is a huge liability.
  20. You can’t model yourself after a one in a hundred bazillion fluke like the Pats*. Their model works because of Brady , and that’s about it. The Bills have cap room to add good players and can certainly make a trade or two. I don’t see Beane spending picks like a drunken sailor or straining their cap.
  21. While I think Williams bring an element of physicality ( and steady hands) to the WR corps that was missing, he’s still a role player type. The Bills need a number 1 “ matchup” kind of WR to make their passing game above average.
  22. Chargers aren’t going to get a great deal for Gordon. However, I’d pass on this deal and try to improve the passing game.
  23. To be fair, the Bills were the 30th ranked passing offense last year and scored few points. While some of the predictions seemed very low, it’s not as if they were returning a potent offense to the field.
  24. I think maybe people just want to understand what actually happened on the play. It appears that the play has “ broken down “ and guys are trying to get open for their QB. Yeldon stops , then starts running across the field in while looking at the QB. He then stops suddenly, but Allen has already let the pass go to a spot where it looks like Yeldon would have been if he continues running. You don’t “ sit down “ on what essentially is a scramble drill. Remember the phrase “ always running, always alert “ ? Just who was Allen throwing to , then ? He owned the throw post game ( as he should) , and wasn’t going to blame anyone else. It appears that Yeldon was the likely target. I haven’t seen a more likely explanation yet. Fwiw , I think Yeldon has done a decent job so far, in spite of his ill-timed fumble.
