I don’t know about that. Anyway, contrary to popular belief , the Bills might actually be a better situation for Mahomes long term. It’s only been one year, but if he actually had a defense to rely on....
That will be a “ don’t bother watching “ game. Last year’s were not bad except that the wrong team got the ball last. Both times!
I agree, but they caved and wanted to ensure they never had to look so inept in the playoffs again.
They’ll never say it publicly, but it’s obvious to fans and coaches after these first weeks. Coaches won’t bother as they’ll get the message and won’t waste a TO.
At this point every HC has tried it and all are aware of challenges around the league. The message has been sent::do not challenge these calls unless it’s the playoffs and it’s blatantly obvious. I definitely understand why: it’s a horrible idea that was put in only to placate the Saints and to ensure it never happens again. Seriously, imagine if they were overturning these calls? The game would be bordering on unwatchable because they let things go all the time, even if it’s technically against the rules. It would be like allowing challenges on uncalled offensive holding. It happens on most every play.
Had everything to do with Whaley being on his way out. McD didn’t want the next GM to have no say in drafting the QB. So he went with a safe pick at a non franchise defining position and acquired a pick for the next year’s draft. If the team had cleaned house in January and hired a GM before a HC, things might have been different. Nothing is going to change that.
Oh, I’m rooting for the Chiefs and Mahomes. It’s the best outcome for the Bills. I’ve rooted for him often, especially vs New England. He’s about the only hope for a NE free Super Bowl these days so I’m all aboard. Fans need to move on from that draft
They do, but Mayfield’s probably not as putrid as he looked Monday night. Interesting bounce back game to see how he performs. SEA is still a pretty good team.
Actually, yes. As I said, most NFL teams stumble sometime in a 16 game season with a head scratching loss. That game would qualify for sure. Hopefully the Bills are immune to this and maintain laser-like focus.
Just a gut feeling. Pretty sure the Bills have about 1 win @ PIT in their franchise history. While we all know Ben is out, that franchise has a trophy case full of Lombardi’s and won’t be a pushover at home.
