  1. Thank you ! As if NFLN (esp gmfb) espn aren’t bad enough with their continuous Pats* drool fest. Do they think they’re only on air in the Boston area , or do they actually not realize most people despise that team?
  2. Don’t most OCs script the first X number of plays , ie in the beginning of the game ?
  3. I’m sure it’ll come out that Darnold had some strain of the clap or got bitten by a tse tse fly or whatever...
  4. Again, it’s a bit of backlash to the Allen criticism. A right back at you type thing. Fans understand QBs development, and the overreaction to Allen’s struggles by some on the board is the root cause.
  5. Yep. It’s amazing what the silver eagle - winged helmet can do for officials and their ability to see penalties being committed.
  6. Bills fans are aware what happened that game. However, the board was full of proclamations of Darnolds superiority and claims that he would beat the Pats and look good doing it. What you’re seeing is the response to that. Football fans understand what young QBs typically do vs BB defense. Very few inexperienced QBs are immune.
  7. At least there was a WR nearby. Not exactly the same.
  8. Sensational. The db caught a ball thrown right to him with no WR in sight. These announcers are a joke.
  9. The Patriot knob slobbering by this announcing crew is scaling new heights. Just awful. The Pats* are the absolute worst thing to happen to the NFL in its existence and maybe in pro sports period.
  10. Oh well, they still could dislocate Brady’s kneecaps.
  11. Yep, and the Jets TE is Arnold Palmers stepson or something
  12. Classic NE. They don’t get called for OL holds when the game is still in doubt. Anyway, Darnold says the Jets offense might just be unstoppable. Get ya popcorn ready
  13. That Dolphins team is nowhere near the 1976-1977 Buccaneers. Not even close to the worst in history. There have been many worse.
  14. That is going to be a tough game. Still don’t think Jackson is going to carve up the Bills defense through the air. Running ? He’s going to do some damage. They’ll have to be super disciplined to limit it.
  15. Hope you picked up on the sarcasm in my post. Some on the board were making statements about the Jets beating the Cowboys and that it somehow diminished the Bills. It’s the NFL and what a team did this week or against a different team means very little. It is good to be 5-1 though. Long way to go, but it’s a good start.
  16. So the Cowboys just trounced the Eagles. How much better than the Bills does that make the Jets?
  17. I would have , they didn’t show enough imo. That’s two teams, not most. I wouldn’t have even taken Winston as he is an idiot, but that’s another story altogether lol.
  18. I’ll agree that the good teams have good QBs. This is not groundbreaking though. Are most teams stupid and bad and have no idea what they are doing ? Or is there a heck of a lot of luck involved in finding a QB ? If most are just bad and stupid, ( unlike NE who not only drafted Brady, but cleverly waited until the 6th round to do so ) their owners should mine the fertile territory of the TBD boards for up and coming GM talent.
  19. It feels like that on this board at times, but I don’t recall a post stating that specifically. There probably are some. Others just say it will never work so it may as well say that. I’m just guessing what the team will actually do. Not making a declaration what they should do.
  20. Heck, then draft one every year. I don’t care if they do, but most teams probably don’t and my guess is just a guess what they will do. I don’t see it happening unless things go south.
  21. So he’s gone by the fifth year option or a big extension. Okay, but I dont think the Bills will draft a QB significantly high next year at this point. Obviously subject to change. (Fwiw Id have moved on from EJ after year 2. He had nothing. ) I’d be surprised if there was a major completion as well, but what do I know. Just a guess.
  22. I’d have moved on sooner than each of their teams did, except Bridgewater. He’s pretty good and it was an injury situation. Not arguing anything except that if the Bills are winning, they’re unlikely to get rid of Allen after year 2. Does that make sense? I think that ship sailed on Mariota awhile ago or it should have anyway.
