Well, my optimistic view is about right as it’s a coin toss Sunday given so many starters sitting. We still might be able to win, given the Cheats are bad, and we are a team of depth. I expect our defense will play more man as communication is not as important and Elam is better in man. I expect to see Trubisky, mostly Ty, WR’s like Shavers Hollins, and so on. We’ll also see a lot of Morris. The exception is Josh starts for a series, and Cook will probably get thrown in on some red zone plays until he gets his single season record.

He was a nice add to our best RB stable of the McBeane era. His wife’s sign was pretty funny. She sounds like a very loving wife so good for him. He’ll probably get a considerable amt. if playing time next week to save Cook and Davis for the playoffs. I can see McD trying when close to the goal line this Sunday putting in Cook until he gets that single season record.

He’s definitely been a pleasant surprise, but then again Josh always seems to elevate guys who come here. Look at Beasely as an example. He was decent in Dallas, but nothing compared to what he accomplished for the Bills.

Some people think the Bengals are the boogeyman when they face the Steelers next week, vs. the Broncos with all Chiefs backups probably will win. Instead of who I want, it’s more likely the Broncos are first. We’ll see how everyone else fairs. It’s probably the next with the Ravens coming to our house.

I doubt it success. Allen is proud of his consecutive starts doubles any active QB. I’m with many, let him hand off three times and pull him. Besides, these second stringers will benefit from more playing time. Let guys like Anderson, Bishop, Davis, and so on get more playing time. We can’t rest all of our O line, so some will start but the back five will get the bulk of the show.

I liked the Gumbel brothers for different reasons. I’m sorry for his family as I approach my mid 50’s, 78 is not that old. With Bryant, I always think of good investigative interviews with the Today show, and the Olympics. With Greg, it was always the NCAA tourney, and most importantly on Sundays. He was excellent. It’s funny you write on this point as Sal has been making a similar point on WGR. He stated it’s not an our guys. the other guy. The reality is Josh had an MVP year last year, yet it was given to Lamar. This year Lamar is truly deserving, but so is Josh. I truly believe Josh will get it, but won’t cry in my milk if Lamar gets it. The media eggs this narrative on way too much.

Bills 27 Jests 13 My reasoning is we need the 2nd seed starters or at least as many as possible will play. Once that is secured, in the 2nd half they’ll phase in at some point some backups. The Cheats is another matter if we know we have the #2, I’d expect Trubisky to start and so on.

I think we’ll be fine against the Broncos, and the Achilles heel of the Ravens defense is they are 29th out of 32. They are incredibly susceptible to our passing game and that also limits their ability to run if we get up fast. That’s how we beat the Ravens. They have almost twice the losses as Buffalo. We commandingly beat the Chiefs again this year, and with luck, we won’t have 5 defensive starters out this time around like last year against the chiefs in the playoffs. We are getting healthier and we’ll probably load manage the rest of the games in the regular season. The Eagles to me is the real wildcard if we get to the dance. If it helps some to just always find the negative on a 12-3 team opposing two more weak teams, have fun. Some people just always find fault in anything they can grapple onto, and do the, but, but, but.

We’re going to have to play mostly starters Sunday, as then we lock up the #2 seed, and then against the Cheats, it should just depend on each players heath. McD probably still wants to keep them in a rhythm so I wouldn’t be surprised if Allen is benched by the 2nd quarter in the last game.
