  1. I was just going to write the same. Hondo, I appreciate the exercise. You always have thoughtful posts.
  2. Special K, you’re problem is you’re watching talking click bait heads on ESPN, FS1, NBC Sports, etc. Who cares what morons like Stephen A. Smith as one example. These buttheads on purpose will not credit the Bills as they know we have one if the stronger fanbase and people go insane. IDC. I’ll add beating the other SB attendee in the same few weeks span and not convinced we have the best team in the NFL possibly up there with Philly. The injuries is overwhelming to the Lions, and the Chiefs have lucked into how many wins. The easiest answer is when we beat the Broncos, Ravens, and Chiefs in the AFC hunt, we’ll see if we face MN, Detroit, or Philly as MN has been strong in just about every facet of the game. I feel we can definitely get to the SB this year, but winning will be a challenge. All three likely opponents won’t make it easy.
  3. Agreed. Historically it’s been Saturday at 3:30 and 8 pm. Sunday is 1, 4, and 8:15. Monday at 8:20. I just don’t want Monday night as most likely one day less if rest for our team. This boogeyman thing with the Bengals is a bunch of talking heads remembering the Bengals from 2 years ago. Their defense is one of the worst in the league, hence 8 losses. I’m sure it will be the Broncos, and probably an afternoon game. Most playoff years there is an AFC and an NFC game on Saturday, and so on.
  4. But, but, shouldn’t we fire McD (insert sarcasm). In all seriousness, that was such a special moment watching Kyle in that locker room. Peaks and valleys GB, peaks and valleys, but couldn’t agree more.
  5. Virg, it’s weird as next week matters more than this week. Seems backwards. It’s actually a game worth watching next week.
  6. It’s a moot point for now, they are locked up, and tackles can last awhile when they are elite. The interior is also set so the line is not an issue I think of now that we have played this well for two years.
  7. Agreed in that why mess with a potential franchise QB. It actually benefits them to lose. They would inevitably trade away the #1 pick as they could get a total of three and still acquire talent. The Pats problem is not the QB. They just need everything around him.
  8. You’re right, but those talking head idiots don’t get a vote. They don’t matter. They are just making fools of themselves.
  9. I’ve only listened to the first few minutes, but BB’s rationale makes sense. Now I don’t know if he brings up in 13 Tom had 13 years of experience and a HC ought to trust him by that time, vs. a rookie or someone with less than 4 years in the NFL. As a side note, I may have despised that guy as the Cheats HC, but he has been great in the booth and on podcasts.
  10. H2O, I wasn’t referring to throwing $, but selling the team. Woody and his brother have repeatedly proven they are awful owners that are nothing but a dumpster fire. His leadership is the problem.
  11. But, but McD is a bad coach and should be fired right (insert sarcasm)? Brady has done a nice job under McD’s direction. It’s kind of hard to argue with 13-3 and a third straight year of the #2 seed, and the 5th straight AFCE win.
  12. I was going to crack off jokes, but in all seriousness the real problem like a few other teams is the owner. Jeff Bezos has expressed interest in buying the team, which the league would be drooling to get a N.Y. owner worth $237.5 bil. The only other NFL family with $ like that is the Walton family in Denver. Look what they did. Hire Sean Payton, one of the best coaches over the last 15 years, give him the freedom to make hard decisions like Russel Wilson, and watch a quick turnaround. Any of the top flight coaches with lots of experience like a Jim Harbaugh (another quick turnaround team) and decision making powers of a GM and assistants with solid compensation is the way out for the Jets. Now, I’d rather not that have that happen as we’d have competition in a few years, so a Wrex hire would be great.
  13. I’m just happy we are at 1 pm on a meaningless game. I can enjoy a nice family dinner in peace.
  14. Hondo, I wouldn’t be too hard on myself. I’m not going through all the pages, but remember I believe I guessed 11 in a bad year, 12 is most likely, and 13 to be optimistic. Well, my optimistic view is about right as it’s a coin toss Sunday given so many starters sitting. We still might be able to win, given the Cheats are bad, and we are a team of depth. I expect our defense will play more man as communication is not as important and Elam is better in man. I expect to see Trubisky, mostly Ty, WR’s like Shavers Hollins, and so on. We’ll also see a lot of Morris. The exception is Josh starts for a series, and Cook will probably get thrown in on some red zone plays until he gets his single season record.
  15. He was a nice add to our best RB stable of the McBeane era. His wife’s sign was pretty funny. She sounds like a very loving wife so good for him. He’ll probably get a considerable amt. if playing time next week to save Cook and Davis for the playoffs. I can see McD trying when close to the goal line this Sunday putting in Cook until he gets that single season record.
  16. The OP is right. It’s right on the Buffalo Bills website. Not a mystery.
  17. 619, thanks for sharing bud. Josh freakin “Super Allen” is one of a kind. How in the world he doesn’t get voted in as MVP is ridiculous. My hope is he wins, wins SB MVP, beats the Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs, and maybe the Eagles in the SB as well already beat the Lions. That will shut up ESPN morons that are only looking for click bait, not an objective assessment of players.
  18. He’s definitely been a pleasant surprise, but then again Josh always seems to elevate guys who come here. Look at Beasely as an example. He was decent in Dallas, but nothing compared to what he accomplished for the Bills.
  19. EU, I’m not sure how far back it goes, but Spotrac has some records of past rosters. There are probably other sites to find it.
  20. We put up 40 today and won a 6 th time this year by 20+. Yeah McD is horrible. The OP must know absolutely nothing about football, but he deserves like any of us to have his own opinion. McD isn’t perfect, but neither is any other HC in the NFL.
  21. I hate night games anyway at least on Sunday and Monday as I get up at 5 but to add a comment, it’s going to be a the games that have meaning. Bengals/Steelers Chiefs/Broncos Rams/Hawks Vikings/Lions These are all potential for the 4 pm slots, and the Primetime games. The schedulers know the Bills will only play backups minus maybe the first series for Josh.
  22. I like Tee Higgins, but we may need the $ for extending other contracts. It’s a lot cheaper to draft a 1st rd WR or at least a 2nd.
  23. And the Giants can probably trade up, but this is known to be a weak QB class. I like Daboll and Schoen, but only to a point.
  24. He’s a 17 year vet.. He was an excellent player, but he’s past his prime.
  25. Some people think the Bengals are the boogeyman when they face the Steelers next week, vs. the Broncos with all Chiefs backups probably will win. Instead of who I want, it’s more likely the Broncos are first. We’ll see how everyone else fairs. It’s probably the next with the Ravens coming to our house.
