  1. WE have been trying to fill that position (RT) for the past two decades !!!!!
  2. Rivers made the playoffs SIX of the 13 seasons he has played....Less than 50%
  3. I believe McDermott ran that draft...he will take the blame (of not drafting Watson or Mahomes) and take credit for getting some solid starters.
  4. I don't think he is saying Gore is a FB. May be this team doesn't need a FB and needs more a blocking TE.
  5. The right side of the OL has been bad for several years including the RR years...Our left was solid during that time.
  6. ANd signing the best KR/PR in the league will make this team even better. Our Punt Returns last year were awful
  7. love it. Now it is up to Sean and the team to show up on Sundays !!!!
  8. They will trade for Rosen. Rosen would be a great fit in Miami
  9. Beane was correct. He doesn't need a true #1 WR.... They can now focus on TE, OL and DT in the first 2-3 rounds
  10. We still decent TEs and OL and a DT
  11. Hopefully he is not the next Charles Clay !!!
  12. Beane doesn't get to decide who should be playing on game day/
  13. Everything starts with the QB. A GM's career is made by the QB he hires. Beane's has bet his career on Josh Allen. it has to be the most important move in his young career.
  14. May be Rosen to Denver?
  15. On the flip side, they did hire a young and upcoming hotshot in Greg Williams and we saw how he flamed out...The same goes for Doug Marrone....There is really no magic potion for this.
  16. Actually that was very simple. The team was in cap-hell and they couldn't pay these upcoming FA's (Gilmore, Woods, Darby. Brown, Watkins) as they were already against the cap. They did the smart thing of shipping them for draft picks that will be cheap for their first 3-4 years of the contract. That was the only way for them to come out of cap hell. Would the Bill have wanted a shutdown corner like Gilmore or Darby...Absolutely..Did they have the money or cap space to pay them...Absolutely Not! Dareus was way over-paid and underwhelming. There was no way they would have been able to keep the "Team First" Concept by not paying everyone but an under-achieving player. Cordy Glenn was the only head scratcher for me. Because we had a starting LT and especially when you lost your interior line to retirement, it would have been prudent to have preserved your starting LT. But that was the only way for them to jump up the draft board to draft their franchise QB.
  17. I think he is better than Bortles who has a 20M tag!!!!
  18. this! and hope Allen is part of that group.
  19. And if Lawson is signed to the 5th year of his rookie contract, where would they put the rookie. Hughes on one side and Lawson on the other side. They will address DE (Depth player) in later rounds..can't see them taking a DE unless he can be moved to OLB.
  20. It is a chicken and egg thing..If you are winning, then all of them are retained (unless they get HC gigs). If you are losing you are constantly tinkering to improve your team! I am sure the Patriots have the same situation except for different reasons because their coordinators are constantly in demand to become HCs.
  21. Similar situation as Joe Theismann
  22. Also Flacco would not only tie up a huge contract, they would have to trade draft picks to get him.
  23. because folks in ESPN like to bash weaker teams like Bills...because it is the easiest thing to do...Most of these "intern" writers simply write with a 20/20 hindsight.
