I’m glad we made the playoffs before the new CBA
T master replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree'd that's why i hope we beat Brady before he leaves because the Pats fan's will have the same come back as it would have been if the Bills didn't make the play offs before the new agreement !! His time is this year he's going down i can feel it !! -
If Burfict would have played back in the day with Butkis, Nagerski, or Deacon Jones he would have been one of the best that ever player because that's the way they all played back then, every play they tried to rip some ones head off but today game for obvious reasons is much different . I have always liked Burfict for his passion of the game & how he plays his position but his actions on the field aren't real good wasn't he the one that tagged AB ? That dud e has never been right in the head ever since !! If he is serious about not being the player he was & playing the game with in the parameters set up in the rules i think he would be a great get & could be a leader in the locker room but i don't see McD taking the chance given his history .

Lou Saban should have been on there a long long time ago but it's pretty apparent that being the person he was he pissed Ralph off & given Ralph's apparent ego he decided that as long as he owned the team it would be a cold day in Buffalo before Lou got on the WOF . Bennett for sure is Talley on there if not he should be !!

Of coarse the Bills run with all the legendary players that took them to the super bowl all those times is a given but the last time i got excited to watch the team was when Flutie was the QB those couple of years (98 & 99) were exciting & the teams did pretty good as far as winning . Of coarse it had absolutely nothing to do with Flutie cause he's the biggest POS that ever walked the earth ? but that was off the top of my head one that i remember - well maybe when they got Bledsoe maybe ??

Every one has their own opinion but C.Beasley, J.Brown,J. Phillips,T, Nsehke, Feliciano, Morse, S.Neal, Lotulelei have been solid & as you mentioned Singletary, Oliver, Knox "Seem" to be players that will be around for quite a while & did a decent job while on the field. As for White, Dawkins & Millano i would be willing to bet were McD picks & Whaley was being used to do his bidding although his scouts more than likely had JMHO ! As far as Bellichek goes his record speaks for it self & most all of us being Bills fans being at the short end of the stick as long as we have consider nothing he does as being in a good light but alls i know is what ever he is doing at most any position on his team it has worked for the better part of 20 seasons you can bash all you want & that fact will never change there is no myth to that . If by chance what he has done for th time he has been in NE is luck then dam sign me up cause i want some of that kind of luck again Just my opinion with that & a dime you might be able to get a stick of gum at the corner store ...

Could Lions Be interested In Tua?
T master replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seeing as Stafford is getting up there in age & that he sat out last year because of a back injury it might be in the Lions best interest to at the very least start thinking about a plan of the future ! -
Safety Kyle Drugger With Bills First Round Pick?
T master replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this could be a viable possibility seeing as they are looking for a replacement for ZO & the so called experts see this guy being used as a weak side LB or a safety not to mention him being used as a returner, McD loves versatility so any thing is possible . -
Seeing as McD needs to replace Zo as a LB & he also likes a player that is versatile to where he could utilize them in multiple places with in his scheme I think that Kyle Dugger could be a possibility in the 1st round . They have him in the top 50 players of the draft he was a DB- safety that the "Experts" view he could be used at Zo's position weak side LB & he has time on ST's so there is a player he could use in 3 different spots, just a thought ?

There have been a lot of QB's that come into the league like Josh that have been decent have strong arms but lack in some areas as said about Josh's accuracy & never lived up to their draft status as franchise QB's such as Jake Locker, EJ, Mariotta, & many more which leads me to this question . Given what Beane has done to this point & seeing his over all seemingly great player evaluation from him & his team of scouts, if a really good QB is there at a later round Bills pick & he is Beane's BPA at that pick do you think he would take a QB with that pick ? If there is 1 thing we have observed over the past 15 + years is the Pats most generally always have a fairly good QB prospect waiting in the wings & Beane being as sharp as he is do you think he may take a bit of past wisdom from what Bellichek has laid out from being the team to beat for so long ? Even with Josh being his pick to lead the team into the future & being the face of the franchise given all that he brings to the field could Beane grab a security blanket if they are there for the taking at the time the Bills have a pick ? I love Josh & the excitement that he has brought to the Bills but he (From what the "Experts" have said) coming out had some issues & i believe that the way he is built will work to correct his short comings but i would think it could be beneficial to have a good back up plan just incase ... Or will they live & die by their choice ?

Burrow - Bengals have top pick, but I have leverage
T master replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In watching all the talk coming up to the draft i was watching the NFL network & David Carr seems to think that Tua is a much better all around QB than Burrow & said that if he didn't have the injury concern that he would be #1 in the draft . Seeing as the Bengals have Dalton (which he is not a terrible QB) plus having the 1st pick in the draft could they take Tua & do what KC did with Mahomes sit him for a year or till later in the season in order to learn the system & heal a bit more to where there is less worry & then let Tua take over ? It seems as though that could be a consideration given the injury & the investment of a #1 pick & that player being the face of the franchise, a version of what Big Red did might not be a bad idea seeing what Mahomes has done since ... -
Predict Shaq Lawson's contract
T master replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not real sure exactly where he fits as far as production for his position, he has shown improvement each year & i think or should i say hope he hasn't hit his ceiling yet & will live up to (in the future) his draft status but to this point i'm not sure where his number as far as a contract might fit with his production . But i do hope that Beane & his team can come up with a number that Shaq & his team can agree on because he has shown he can be a good player even if he stays at the production level that he is at now . But if he hits FA there's no telling what kind of number another team will see him at & that might be like it is with Phillips a lot more than Beane & company see him at ! -
Post Favorite memory of the 2019 season
T master replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really liked the play Brown to Josh but Josh's attempt at Browns celebration was pretty lame it was a nice tribute to Brown but not good IMHO . I being a fan of the under dog & that fits with just being a Bills fan thought it was great to see Duke catch 1 of his 1st NFL catches in his 1st game back & having 1 be a game winner talk about a high light for his season !! That would be my pick ... -
What colors are they ? I really dig the red uni's i have a Kyle jersey in red it just pops !!?

Harrison Phillips recovery update
T master replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can't wait for him to get back one thing i noticed last season it seemed as though just about every photo of the team you would see Harry in there some where just wanting to hang out with the guys & in the past i've not seen that from others hurt & out for a season to do rehab . I don't know if it's the norm to stay at the house & not travel with the team if a player is hurt but Harry wanted to be there given every chance he is definitely 1 player that i can't wait to see back on the field i just hope his injury doesn't effect him like it has others like Murph . It seems as if the first year back that it just takes them some time to get back to their old selves on the field & some just never make it back but i think Harry has age & determination & the Bills blue collar work ethic on his side ... -
Mel Kiper Mock 2.0(ESPN Insider)
T master replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ruggs speed is great & yes i read some where that he hardly ever drops a pass which is great but the 1 thing that i ask is 6' considered a big bodied WR like every one is saying that we need ? Sure he is a bit taller than most that we have in the room Duke being probably the tallest at this point & if he runs like they say he will that will be a huge plus for the Bills !! -
Mocks are like fantasy for the "Experts" it's just a guessing game that makes the hype of the combine & the draft better the GM's only get 1 shot not 5 or 10 to get it right & there are even some "Experts" that were players that flamed out as players & in Bucky Brooks career flamed as both a player & a scout or he would still be doing it . I don't do the fantasy thing because i'm just not into it so all the mocks do for me is possibly give me some type of insight on players that might be good enough to look into, but that happened when Rosen was in the draft & i thought he was "The Guy" of that draft due to his college career & we see what happened to him . The GM's put a lot more time into their prep & have a lot more on the line if they screw it up the so called "Experts" that do mocks spend a good deal of their time on it but have a lot less to lose & it's all speculation for them !!
-
Yah he would but he in so many words said he doesn't want to play for a cold weather team & seeing as he played for the boys i would imagine he heard a ton of bad stuff about Buffalo so i don't think he would even consider coming here, of coarse $$ talks & BS walks so i guess if they offered him enough he might but i don't think Beane would offer the kind of money he would want !
-
He was the one i had hoped the Bills would take only because of his college career & that goes to show you why a fan should never be allowed to choose players on a NFL roster . That being said we all have seen what changing coaches & offensive schemes can do for the development of a young NFL QB it just doesn't work ! The Bills due to some of the same type of things Rosen has had to endure have had their fair share of young QB's that may have done better with a bit more stability but didn't because of change . Losmen, EJ, just to name a few maybe could have had better NFL careers with ore stability around them (oh & a attitude adjustment) for the one !!

Do we really need a power back?
T master replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is your buddy Shady ? -
? Did the Bills ever have to pay him seeing as he screwed them ? And if so has any one ever heard how much ?
-
I believe along with the mention of a extra game there was also mention made of expanding the rosters to compensate for injuries that may happen & the players being as greedy as the owners say as long as your gonna pay me MO MONEY i'm in !! The extra game per season i think might be to bolster games out of the country that way each team that does play a game out side the US won't be getting screwed by having to give up a game & the season ticket holders can have a full 8 home game schedule again . As long as the owners get a bigger slice of TV revenues & the players get their slice it's gonna happen I'm not for it but it just facts money rules !!
