  1. Hypothetically saying !!! And i know this is some what foolish thought but i'm just saying ... Given the kind of cash the NFL generates just from the TV side of things alone in "1 TV contract" it looks as if they could build each team a new Billion $ stadium each year & at the end of the 32 team build would still have some $7 Billion dollars left over thats just one TV contract & that would be handing out 1 per year per team 32 yrs . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League_on_television#Current_broadcasting_contracts Which during that time period there would be more than a few more TV contracts signed that's not including what ever other income the league generates, so even if the NFL gave out half the cost to build these new palaces ($500 million) that they say are so imperative to teams being relevant in their respective regions why isn't the league (especially seeing as they are the ones that will be directly effected monetarily) made to invest that money in each teaming this way. It seems as though the fans are expected to carry the huge blunt of the expense weather it's from taxes levied in their region, ticket sales, NFL memorabilia sales, TV packages, & all other things related & the league & players sits back & collects the cash ! Cause lets face it these exorbitant contracts that the players get come from that cash generated too I know nothing like this will ever happen but it's just a brain flush ? !
  2. Seeing as this years draft is very deep at the WR position i would say no because unless its a Randy Moss/Kalil Mack type player a once in a life time talent a first round pick is very useful in bringing in talent that can help a team long team for a lot less . This being his last year of his rookie contract he is going to cost a lott o hang on to past this coming year if he continues to do what he has & the Bills already have a lot of talent on the team that will be expecting big contracts sooner rather than later & if they invest in him they may have to let go of those already invested in as far as draft picks . If Beane & company do what they have since he was brought in i believe they can find a WR in the draft that can be as good for the Bills for a lessor price for a longer time !
  3. Although Garrett's actions were very bad & could have had a lot worse out come to them as far as injury than it did he seems to be a very intelligent person with a very moral type of out look on certain things . I being caucasian have had conversations with African american friends in my life to help me to understand certain things I have had a major disagreement in those conversations to where i have been told that by changing the end of the N word from "er" to an "a" makes it okay in certain circles. IMHO neither is acceptable if we as people are trying to do away with the term & Garrett feels the same which i totally agree with him on !! If you read his thoughts in this article especially the last paragraph you will see his views of it & i couldn't agree more . With that i hope all those involved have learned from this situation ! http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001102112/article/myles-garrett-reiterates-mason-rudolph-called-him-slur
  4. There were a couple of different rules in the kicking game i thought were kind of cool, i liked the idea of the kick off that no one could move until the ball was caught by the opposing team, & then the "extra Points" is a pretty cool concept to be able to go for 1 - 2 or 3 points i think that could be a huge game changer !! I'm not sure i remember how that extra points after a TD rule works because i haven't only watched a small piece of a game but it seems pretty innovative to say the least !! ?
  5. Hey Doctor D , there are 2 things for sure on this site 1) we are all Bills fans & 2) we all have our own opinions . I didn't think that what i said in my message to you was a "Melt down" but as i said we all have our opinions i just am the type in my job or on here to go directly to the source & say my piece hopefully to find a resolution rather than do it in public & i have i believe earned a bit more respect that way than those that just go off cussing & such which that i would consider a melt down ! But i appreciate you as a Bills fan & although we can agree to disagree on somethings i believe we both have the same love for the Bills & i will invite your criticism here because if there is 1 other thing Bills fans aren't afraid to do it is to voice their opinions & differences there in . I have also learned that if you are going to post here you had better have thicker than normal skin, with that said have a great day & Go Bills !!

  6. As a rule in my Bills fandom i hate the Cowboys ! I've been at Jerry's palace a couple of times with my job & the guy is the epitome of a ass bag, he is at every event that happens at his palace & if things aren't done the way he thinks they should be or to his standard he pulls the plug & does it the way he thinks it should be done . I guess if your paying the bill that is his option but that dude has one hell of a ego & i personally can't stand it or him & his club that's just me ! This may be the only time i will ever agree with him though, i think (and again it's just me) IMHO the contracts for these guys are getting crazy because they all want to live like kings well over & above what they truly need to live a very comfortable life & as i've said before if someone is foolish enough to pay you go for it !! But if a company is only willing to pay so much then it's time to move on & it looks as if Jerry is at that point & i can't say as i blame him . Sure it's a little old school & maybe a hard line but some one has to do it & Jerrah is the guy that will be "That Guy" !

  8. What about the 2014 defense lead by Schwartz ?
  9. I for one hope it never happens ! The NFL is a American past time & it needs to stay here if they do want to expand the game i could see the owners as they try to do a 17 game season due to their over all greed of the big ten owners doing something in foreign countries . With the 17 game schedule leave each team to have their 8 home games each year & how ever it works out in the scheduling for the 17th game make it the game in London, Mexico, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, & what ever other foreign countries that wants to get in on building a NFL stadium . That way the home fans & season ticket holders don't get screwed out of 1 home game a season for which ever team is chosen to do those particular games out of the country . Any team expansion i hope would be kept in the U.S. & if that was to happen the over all 17th game of the season for the new team or teams could be given to a stadium to play 1 game out side the U.S. in those countries . That way too the pro bowl could be put in one of those out of country stadiums (a different one each year) which could be a plus for players & they could even put the Super Bowl in one of those stadiums every so often the the teams would be "World Champions" ! That said I would again rather see that game stay at home to give those home teams the revenue here in the states !
  10. Look i'm sorry that i'm not as excellent of a Bills fan or as perfect as you are in my posting skills so if i may could i give you a suggestion ?

If you can only find the negative in most things you read that i post or if you don't like the things i post .

DON'T READ THEM !! Pass over them & spend your perfect/precious time reading something that you can get or give a positive response to !!

I've never claimed to be or will I ever be perfect !!

I come here to have fun being a Bills fan, there are a hand full of fans here like you that at times are so critical of what the imperfect fans such as me write with the main premise of having fun as the motivating factor ! If i wanted to be a journalist i would have passed english & went on to study it more in college but didn't !

But from this point forward i will try to live up to your excellent expectations, please forgive my ineptitude ! And thanks for your excellent judgement !! I'm sure it will make me a better person .

Maybe one day i can grow up to be as excellent as you !! Have a blessed day ...

  11. Got you & that was me in a DUH moment of which i do have from time to time please excuse it !!
  12. Okay . The heading says "Build Your Bills Dream Team From None Play Off Years" Not None play off players, so what i meant was take ALL the players from the years that the Bills "Didn't" make the play offs during the drought last play off appearance being 1999, drought beginning the 2000 season till the 2017 season . I thought it was self explanatory but i guess i was wrong in my thinking, i'm sorry if the heading & the first line of my post didn't lay out the parameter's for this attempt at a "FUN" post i will try to do better next time . Thanks for your understanding i thought in my first sentence in the post that that is what i wrote as part of laying out my thought please re read if i can change it to make it more understandable i will i was just trying to make it a easy/fun type of post .
  13. From the years of the 2000 season to the 2017 season Okay screwed up with including of Feliciano & Nsecke !! I believe all the other players were on the Bills squad between the years i mentioned in the original post !! Reuben played with the Bills from 1995 till 2003 which okay he made the play offs but i am specifically talking about team members that were on the Bills during the play off drout seasons which is 2000 season to 2017 of which i believe all players besides my goof were on those teams . Which is the same for the others you mentioned .
  14. Your right sorry my bad !! Just couldn't think of a good RG ... For that matter Nsecke too ? From 2000 to 2017 ?? You didn't read the post .
  15. Okay i thought we could have some fun in trying to put together a Bills dream team but it can only be players that were on a Bills roster in the none play off years so the roster from the yr 2000 season through 2017 . The Bills during the lean yrs had a ton of really good players of which a lot went on to play for other franchise & do very well, some even won a SB or 2 after leaving the Bills but keep your dream team to players that would be on the offensive side, Defensive side, & ST's, players that would be your on field dream team during the coarse of a game not the full 53 man roster . I'll start so you all can mock me & that will give you all a idea what i'm talking about ... Also this is each players best season with the Bills . OL - Jason Peters LT - Ruben Brown LG - E. Woods C - RG - Incognito RT - Langston Walker RB - M. Lynch - L. McCoy - Sam Gash FB WR - E. Moulds - R. Woods - L. Evans - S. Johnson - Goodwin ? TE - J. Riemersma - Scott Chandler ? QB - Fitz - 2012 DL - Mario - Sam Adams - Pat Williams - Hughes/Schobel - Kyle Williams needs to be in here some where . LB - Poz - L. Fletcher - T. Spikes - Kawika Mitchell - I know these aren't to their respective position on the field but there were so many good LB's the Bills have had i could only think of these 4 to possibly field - remember this is for fun only !! CB - Gilmore - T. McGee - Nate Clements - SS - Schultz - FS - J. Byrd Kickers - B. Mormon - S. Christie Well i hope this gives you kind of a idea what i'm talking about ? I think this would be a pretty stout team to put on the field if they had all played at the same time . Sure there are probably some that i have forgotten about but i'm sure you all will tell me exactly where I goofed up & who i forgot to put in there but try & have some fun with it !! After all it is the off season & we need something to keep us busy ...
  16. Can't argue that point, but can you imagine the party in the hammer lot if they did win a Super Bowl there wouldn't be a folding table left in Buffalo ? !! I have video of the last time i went to a Bills home game against the Pats, Gailey was the coach at the time & the walk to the stadium was AWESOME it was one huge party, tail gating every where & that was just a regular season game i can't imagine what it was like in the 90's during the play off runs ? But again if they ever win the big one OMG look out OP & One Bills Drive will never be the same !!
  17. So then that makes it even more imperative to the Bills keeping that in mind because it is part of the fabric that makes the Bills who they are in Buffalo !! Did not know that about War Memorial, thanks !!!
  18. Part of the "Buffalo Bills Experience" is the tail gating it is nationally known by all NFL fans but especially to those fans of other teams that come to OP to see their respective teams play the Bills weather its those teams we play once a year at NEF or the teams that only come every so often to play in WNY . I hope that if the Pegs decide to move the Bills field down town they take into consideration the tail gating aspect that is part of the Bills Experience . I live in Nashville now & the stadium is down town the main drag is broadway which is honky tonk central, then there is the Country Music HOF, Bridgestone arena, Tootsies, & that is part of the Titans Experience . If you put the Titans up north in Hendersonville all of that goes away, the "Titans Experience" is tied to all that down town brings ! I have not been to Buffalo but a couple of times in the past 10 yrs so i don't know what is down town but there needs to be something that you can tie to the Bills Experience besides the Anchor bar & chicken wings . I know there's not a ton to do in OP but they have tail gating & how it's a huge party around the stadium come a couple of days before a big game, I hope where ever they decide to put the Bills down town or keep them in OP tailgating stays as big a part of the Bills Experience as it has been since they moved to this stadium !!
  19. The powers that be have ruined what was once the biggest & usually the best game of the week ! Everyone i knew after a hard day back to work on Monday couldn't wait to get home, eat dinner, pop open a beer & watch MNF it was a main stay in America for years ! Then some dum ass at ESPN decided "well lets move this game to ESPN" I don't know who's brain storm that was but that was the biggest demise of MNF ! Al & Chris saw the writing on the wall & jumped ship to NBC & so did all the MNF fans & ever since SNF has been the game of the week . The thing that blows me away is our local "Football Expert" John Murphy said recently on his daily show that "the NFL isn't to the point of saturation & every move they have made has always brought more viewership or Fans" well Big John your expertise comes through once again because moving MNF was one of if not the stupidest thing ESPN /ABC has ever done for the game !! This flexing thing must be another one of the ideas from the same dum ass that decided to move MNF from ABC to ESPN can't see anything going wrong with this decision ?...
  20. What about Sean Lee he is going to be a FA this year more than likely would be a replacement for Zo & could probably be gotten for a decent contract, he still has some left in the tank & wants to play plus would be that veteran guy in the room !!
  21. Only after Kelly got his head out of his A** & after Pollian talked to him because at first he was a turd, said the last place he wanted to go was to the Bills & that was the reason why he went to the USFL which to this day chaps my A** !! I've actually met Kelly since & he's a great guy !!
  22. To play a game ? man talk about some messed up priority's IMHO !!
  23. Maybe so but he was the one that talked to Kelly when the league he was playing in went belly up & the Bills still had Kelly's rights & he talked to him & told him coming to the Bills would be good for him .
  24. Okay all of us that have been Bills fans for most of our lives have seen a lot of head scratchers during our time as fans of the Bills but there are some that really stand out & were brought to my attention while jumping around Two Bills drive & the reading of one article in particular . Seeing as Ralph owned the team from it's inception up till the time that the Pegs bought the team there are probably a lot more moves to choose from during his time as the owner but there are a few to me that really stick out ! The one article i read while surfing around this board was the one of Pollian announcing his own firing ? here is the man that put together the trade for Cornelius Bennett, drafted Kelly, brought in Marv Levy & built the team that went to 4 consecutive SB's something that may never happen again, talk about a head scratcher !! Then there is the firing of Wade Phillips who took over for Marv & was the last coach to take the Bills to the play offs twice until McD . I think the big thing that got him fired though was part of this head scratcher was probably his behind the scenes disagreement to start Johnson over Flutie, which some unmentioned haters here still rejoice over that decision because it took Flutie off the 53 . But the nail in his Bills career was when he said no to firing the ST's coach Ronnie Jones. Then there is letting Thurman, Bruce & Andre walk out the door, not really sure exactly what happened with all of that (you all can enlighten me) but you would think they would have had some show of respect for what these guys had done for the team & kept at least one of them around to bridge the gap & be the veteran in their respective rooms . What about the Rex Ryan hire or Hank Bullough those could quite possibly rank up there as far as some of the biggest head scratchers, are any of these your choice or can you think of any to add to this list that were worse ? Not sure if this has been talked about recently or in the not to distant past if so my apologies, being the off season & not really a lot to talk about while jumping back a few pages here i read the article that started me thinking about this subject . Again if it has been posted my apologies ...
  25. Although they will have Joseph coming back i have read that Sean Lee wants to continue to play but will probably not be brought back to the boys do you think Beane will bring him in for at least a talk ? He would be a great veteran in the room & he can still produce on the field & seeing as he is on the down side of his career he could possibly be brought in on a very reasonable veteran contract he could be a good replacement for Zo .
