yea- it’s practically no risk and who knows, maybe upside I can only imagine what Chan would do with Josh -

it’s something that literally no other staff has done. They unsuccessfully navigated several cap advantaged seasons without that accomplishment, but maybe their first will be with a lesser roster and voices growing old in the room. It would be a reinvention of leadership never before seen in the nfl. Do we think McD is that guy? -
Joe B article - Elijah Moore, Curtis Samuel, Gabe Davis

thats honestly not an average group yet but its less bad -
of course. Jordan missed plenty of shots, and Brady lost a bunch of games. these are human beings. I think it’s totally fine to call plays they miss. though my expectations aren’t perfection and I don’t think he is the primary overarching issue with this season unless we are accepting that the only plan was the we have super man and he can just turn it on and off at will. why can’t the receivers also play towards their floor and not their ceiling? especially missing Palmer/kincaid

I think that’s completely common sense but….

well, what was the post???

Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)
NoSaint replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
the problem is he’s not actually better than our top few guys if we want him to return and take 5-10 snaps on offense - I’m not mad about it but it’s not revamping our attack -

if the options today are desperation or arrogance, let’s at least have him in the pipeline practicing -
The Bills were high bidders for Waddle, tried acquiring Williams

were you amped up when we got Kyle orton too? -

we act like it’s unique too- as if Brady, manning, mahomes, etc…. Didn’t get people amped up to play. Especially vs a division rival. It’s why we need to show up with our best roster and our best staff to start the season -
I thought Davis was one of the least qb friendly receivers I’ve recently watched not that I’m frequently monitoring the metric but

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good

Should try him at wr -
At this point he’s not the face of that team. He’s a nice perk not a cornerstone. “you are at the end of the road - are you going to write the story of a savvy team first vet, or the guy that couldn’t buy in anywhere and teams regretted” And then you plan to bail from him on a short timeline
-
yea, frankly he’s playing to his draft profile pretty darn accurately a slower guy that struggles to create space but will slightly better than average win on balls that have a low catch rate. it was written all over his film and measurables minus being fast in the one drill. but wait, he also played basketball so he maybe never developed fully. We all are hoping that he grows more than most guys do… luckily on top of all that he seems to have a knack for not having 100% focus
-
in simplest terms - and completely bar napkin…. if Josh leaves us 200M for the rest of the team, can we dedicate 120M+ of that to the 5 starters on the OL plus cook? At some point it forces a large hole somewhere else. Likely multiple.

I’m going to say that we’ve watched kromer do amazing things developing guards here in going to point out how well he did with Jahri evans, and Carl nicks in New Orleans im comfortable with Aaron kromer being the special sauce and spending foundational money elsewhere

he had a history of issues prior… he just was good at smiling into the camera for a couple years

Bills don't "need" a WR, they need to use the ones they have better
NoSaint replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
love any mismatches, but WR4 winning against CB4 is usually more of a nice added feature than a focal point of sustainable success -

I think two things can be true- they need better receivers but haven’t fully optimized what they have- 185 replies
