  1. yup and generally I think they will get the most of him. at 60 getting a solid starter is considered a win, regardless of positional value. I think he will be a good player.
  2. boss, telling the story of a guy that played in the era of part time jobs in the offseason doesn’t do what you think
  3. are you under the impression he plays faster than any we in 2 years?
  4. I’d not hate using some picks to stack AD and sweat and call it a night
  5. even worse: gabe Davis was a bad fit in our offense. even worse: gabe Davis was a bad fit in our offense.
  6. also just a terrible fit for a fast change of direction, get them off balance offense right?
  7. you have to get a bunch more value trading back to consider him he’s a big guy at 4.6+ speed. He’s a skinny tight end or a slow wr. It’s not the good kind of tweener.
  8. there are different mechanisms that could be in play if you really want to make it happen. rarely are moves impossible.
  9. it’s Mitchell for me but I’d be listening to offers too at this point that would get me up from 60 or 90whatever…. It wouldn’t have to be huge but I’d listen
  10. we all agree to terms, it’s the 2025 pick and we wait until June 1 for paperwork? also gives some runway for other cap maneuvering
  11. we all agree to terms, it’s the 2025 pick and we wait until June 1 for paperwork?
  12. the redundancy being that they are pretty flexible as opposed to one trick ponies doing the same thing does help though
  13. im not racing to trade for deebo but swap 2s and draft Polk or similar late in the round is a path to getting back to 4 viable wrs samuel-samuel-kincaid-cook with Knox/Shakir would give Brady a ton to play with
  14. none of those top ten picks 6 weeks after joining the team that’s a 2026 play
  15. or much more reasonably you could just trade him to another suitor as clearly the chiefs thought someone wanted him before they could get him
  16. Yea but that’s just a player evaluation difference and those happen if we like Mitchell more and flip flopped, so be it, right? Conceptually it’s not catastrophic unless you are really into the option year if we decide to go defense and wait til 60 for WR I’m right there with you
  17. if the narrative becomes the bills built the chiefs core it’s bad for beane, bad for the locker room, bad for league wide perception if leggette becomes moss it sucks but life happens if the bills traded the chiefs a hall of fame qb and a pro bowl wr to continue their dynasty - that’s a catastrophe
  18. Ultimately trading back is fine it’s just 1) what do we do now drastically impacts the evaluation of whether the strategy was smart 2) like it or not, if worthy blossoms it could really tattoo this regime/era in a different way than the Carolina trade which was also for a wr. The risk/reward equation is wildly different on a human psych level based on it being the chiefs taking a guy at a position of need for us to use against us in the biggest moments
  19. this year it may be both, unless you are putting a lot of weight on Josh early in the season It is a challenging crossroads
  20. he’s saying they likely have 2-3 similar ranked guys and not someone head and shoulders above that they wouldn’t want to risk losing some of you act like a trade up is just a button you push and not a human negotiation though
  21. no I’m not assuming he is but if he does become an impact player there’s a pretty hefty weight added now
