  1. meh, the rule isn’t a catchable ball - the refs have to bake in route mixups or just bad passes…. You have to be pretty obvious most of the time
  2. you can bobble it for 30 yards and 14 football moves and through hitting the ground but at some point in there you have to hold control; even if you were touching it for several seconds
  3. agreed. At the end it leeks out without him establishing control ever… even if it took a long time to hit the ground
  4. it’s because of the timing of the push
  5. you say this until you find out a team is doing a favor to get a player you want to the chiefs or pats
  6. because they could still claim him and let him sit out unpaid
  7. I hate to say it but you know some of the checks we don’t like are josh some agreement here though: when will Anderson was sitting out early downs and coming in on third down we should’ve skipped subs and gotten to the line to keep their own mvp off the field. We don’t maximize our advantages and manage game flow in a way that I love.
  8. I hate to break it to you- you’ve already seen the high point
  9. I have no indication one way or another but I’ll say I trust kromer a good bit and if they go that way I’d imagine he blessed it
  10. heck it could’ve made next season unpleasant
  11. because we ran out of alternative answers for him
  12. what route combos was he benefitting from that Brady stopped calling? which of those do you think play well to our current room?
  13. you aren’t going to love the answers here: 1) Shakir is statistically on pace to be about the same year over year statistically and about to basically put up his best season with us. The problem is he’s not a top wr and can’t be your WR1 2) still interested to hear the route concepts missing
  14. let’s do the exercise. facing a heavy dose of man coverage and getting little help from the line or WRs…. What’s your plan? the WRs can’t win matchups mesh variations off the table cue up some slow developing double moves? the back shoulders have been a real winner for us I’ll buy a little more motion maybe, some extra stacked formations and that not having such a heavy skew to pass out of shotgun… but at some point it’s a matter of not having talent to beat man coverage. Our WR group ranks 30-something talent wise. I’ll also say, several of the plays that didn’t work that were mesh in major moments had the target free what are your play calls
  15. its true. I wonder how we would e navigated some of this. its true. I wonder how we would e navigated some of this.
  16. and the rotator cuffs are probably more athletic than most of your features still
  17. I bet ny leans in extra, unofficially
  18. if his guarantees are voided, it makes for an interesting conversation about taking on the deal you could bail at half time of the third game if he’s a mess
  19. If you have your qb, it’s near instant with one good offseason.
  20. of note… half those guys were a case of the team moving on from them because you can’t build a future with 40 year olds
  21. if a defense has to defend the entire field it take stress off our line and opens up the playbook if we have a lead our small linebackers aren’t stuck in the trenches as much
  22. Hard disagree. the defenders would be out a little louder but it was an ugly game that underscored the known issue which the GM chastised fans for commenting on
  23. a real #1 fixes so much A defense has to defend twice as much space it opens up all the underneath cook and Allen get less abused playing with a lead lets our defense key in one dimensionally it is the most complimentary football we could ever play. And speaks to my point that this isn’t a 10 year process. Picture this team with George Pickens for a 3rd this year.
  24. if not for the tip ball on the play prior a mesh concept would’ve worked stellar
