  1. Honestly, I have a hard time calling anyone but josh in that scenario... but it’s not a crazy call. Just can’t swing wildly with the highs and lows of its potential outcomes. Enjoy It without calling it genius when it works and don’t kill them when it doesn’t.
  2. You said no way they move it to Monday because we play Thursday
  3. They can move our Thursday game too
  4. Honestly, I’m not big into punitive measures for positives but totally fine with very stiff penalties for disregarding the rules. Especially after the known breakout started a lone guy forgetting a mask is one thing. An organized activity during a quarantine window counts as a big deal to me.
  5. there’s nowhere left to move beyond Monday/Tuesday it unless they change the whole leagues structure and even that takes moving other games
  6. delta won’t be a serious thing a day and a half after hitting land
  7. Spitballing names- what about a mid/late rounder for a guy like Ryan Kerrigan? Haven’t watched him much but has a few sacks after a down year. not sure if he’s any better than what we have at this point though
  8. he doesn’t terribly scare me as a head coach. the interesting layer to his potential departure will be how deeply he raids our cupboard. Would a guy like Dorsey follow him? Or what other position coaches? Mongo or McKenzie? not the end of the world, just wondering out loud how much shuffling may come and if the next candidate is actually internal or not.
  9. Or like half of them if mostly touchdowns
  10. a bit erratic there with not saying what you mean and then reading things that weren’t written.
  11. I think this loops back to the more accurate early season thread of “why did he run so much” against the jets this is always my least favorite take around winning fan bases. heaven forbid someone thinks the team is imperfect and wants to chat about opportunities. We should all just sit around all week cheerleading everything.
  12. more or less this. ironically we probably took the polished guy instead of high upside projects there and bit us still because the transition is difficult when jumping straight to the top of an nfl depth chart. A real positive in acquiring a known commodity in diggs
  13. We should stick to nickel outside of goal line stands
  14. open minded that he could be that and declaring he was that are very different things
  15. you accept a bunch of rules being different at the goal line than the sideline
  16. you have to complete the catch and when going to the ground that includes landing. we go through a few of these around the league annually and it’s always the same answer. but you have to complete the fall. If you bobble going to the ground on the toe tap it’s incomplete. In this case falling back into the field of play he didn’t complete it until out of the end zone. It’s a tough spot and was a close call.
  17. anything noteworthy gets pulled to its own thread instead of searching tons of pages
  18. I enjoyed the first play back had him putting both hands above his head pre snap for a two handed pitch.
  19. Gruden should’ve called timeout there
  20. Agreed. and not a huge fan of him but he’s bringing energy and attitude that’s been lacking
  21. Won’t lie- small part of me would consider 2 here
  22. I’m not even sure what his goal was to say what he missed doing. He just booted it.
  23. That was a horrifically bad punt. wasn’t even close to being good.
  24. best way to do it? Play with a lead. Stack the pass defense and create turnovers with a pass rush.
