if you don’t protect your trademarks you definitely risk them. Which could be a factor. also just because Reid is doing positive now doesn’t mean he or others always will. the optics are bad but the decision is sound and reasonable based on my limited knowledge of the situation.

normally not one to get worked up about defense in today’s nfl but they really had nothing going for them tonight. undisciplined should at least be high intensity. To lazily blow assignments sucks. If you are playing at 110 miles an hour and at least you can create turnovers alongside the missed plays. if playing a finesse game you have to be much better in the reads

he’s also had issues with brandin cooks when he was a saint. And has a knack for talking when there’s really no need. granted he’s a great player. But he likes to let people know it even if it’s not in anyone’s best interest.

he’s contributed and been the spark in a lot of saints games. I wouldn’t pay him what they do but in a particular role he’s been a guy that does light their offense up in a night like this.

it’s no different. The schedule isn’t designed to be equal for all. could it be disappointing? Sure. But so is losing a game you didn’t put away on a questionable call, or losing the tie break in a normal season with a tough schedule. it is what it is. You play the games dealt to you.

yup. Fair was them following the rules that everyone else is. this isn’t bending slightly or a few chuckleheads... it was full scale organizational defiance that will cost the league money, players money and puts health at risk. it’s going to be a historic consequence.
