it’s not a conscience that’s the issue it’s that he has major legal issues and very well may be on the list soon. Teams aren’t trying to give the 3rd or 6th pick for a guy that very well may miss this year and more. one of the accusations is from after they started coming forward.

I don’t think anyone’s upset. I’m fine with the bills having essentially zero cost associated with controlling an extra piece of talent... But on some level I think you cycle new guys into the opportunity based on what the program is. the dude turns 30 this off-season. If he sticks in the program the full year again we are talking about a 31 year old running back with zero Nfl snaps. I’m not sure that’s a great success even in the best case of competing for a roster spot but maybe a younger guy could parlay the opportunity into a bit more of a career instead of a fun jaunt working out overseas for decent money.

letting them stash him might be making it harder for him to stick for real at some point. Dude has to make the jump sooner rather than later.

honestly, for all involved, I think the bigger question is who he was associated with for a gang task force to nab him. making a shady purchase is one thing, but being in a gang related crowd when back home in the offseason could be a solid red flag

we have the best qb, and an established system going... until someone knocks us off, we are the established favorite by a wide margin

definitely a good role player that’s familiar and comfortable. Totally fine with him deep in the depth chart and still being able to make a few plays

I mean, they won. We have often said that winning will cure all ills and no one really hated the bills so much as we were a bad team for a really longtime. You’ll still get a few guys that want big cities and warm weather... but plenty will just want to win and have a good environment where they can shine and 5-8 late in the year isn’t conducive to that.

there will be - not to be political but full vaccination will be a thing by then we see guys step in on special teams with little to no experience there.

he literally couldn’t ask for too much unless he really comes out and takes big steps backwards.

Nor would they. Similar to a guy like Henderson in our past- you didn’t change your board in assuming he’d reach his potential but if he can contribute some viable snaps cheap it’s like found money at the bottom of your 53.

i tend to skew the same direction on volume of accusations but know that it can be a dangerous assumption. I would try hard not to carry it into a jury pool but over a beer with friends it’s easy to express that the volume carries credibility

especially as a guy that bought a “draft Johnny football” billboard in Houston previously. he’s got a super sketchy reputation. but doesn’t mean the claims are untrue, just because the attorney is sketchy.

Yup. Odds are both beas and sanders won’t be long term. Having a play maker that can ease into the group and learn in a great room wouldn’t bother me. Return some kicks, have a few packages and not have to carry the load day 1? I could see diggs-Davis-that guy being the trio in a year, easily, as a team building strategy.

we watched the bills lose in the playoffs with maybe zero healthy receivers. I don’t think it’s the priority to chase a premium guy at but if one lands in our lap I’m surely cool with that.
