Craziest 77 seconds in NFL History Video
skibum replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was a nice comeback, but I guess I don't see it being worthy of a mini-documentary. And it was certainly not the craziest 77 seconds in NFL history.... -
Can you imagine being paid a million bucks per year (and getting wined and dined to boot, no doubt), and all you have to do is hit the gym a lot and do your job for 90 seconds per week. Oh, and you also get about six months of vacation per year. Why isn't every big kid in America trying to become an NFL long snapper?

Very cool video - I love how they included guys like Jay Schroeder, who did not have amazing careers but could sling the rock as hard as anyone. It also reminded me why I loved Warren Moon so much. That guy threw the tightest spiral in history, and it was like that on every single throw. Did that guy ever throw a wounded duck in his life? Beautiful stuff.

Does Gregory Rousseau need "redshirt" year?

It's more the 'one year wonder' thing, but he also does look a little skinny for DL in the NFL. -

Training camp will reveal all, but I have to say this pick reeks of Aaron Maybin. Here's hoping that's not the reality that unfolds. -
When Mahomes was drafted, I thought he was a guaranteed bust.

I think it's a fair grade overall. I would say the Bills got an 'A' for value, maybe a C+ for addressing needs. After round 2, it looks like they basically went BPA 100%, with no regard for positional needs. You could argue this is better than a B, if you believe that BPA is the best way to go. As we have seen, having an overabundance of talent at a position can allow a team to address needs via trade early in the season. For example, Beane has a stable full of solid O-line vets and prospects that will certaily yield assets later on. Talent is always at a premium, even where you don't need it!

Funny that Oweh and Tryon were taken immediately after Rousseau. It will be interesting to see how they all pan out. -

You forgot the one about Epenesa losing so much weight he no longer knows how to use his body or play football. -

Will Christian Wade make the Bills' final 53 in 2021?

I don't see why he couldn't be a return specialist and occasional gadget player. -
From the tape, he looks like a guy who can really get open. He looks more like Beasley than Brown to my eyes - giving the QB an outlet 10-15 yards downfield with 3 yards of separation in every direction. It could mean more deep looks for Diggs, where he was doing a lot of the basic chain-moving last year. Allen is going to have open targets all over the field next season. They might run the ball even less than they did this year!

What’s your earliest memory of the Buffalo Bills?
skibum replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mine would be the "Stupor Bowl Shuffle". The Rochester D&C did a parody of the '85 Bears' Super Bowl Shuffle, as the Bills were at that time were a 2-14 perennial loser. I vaguely remember watching games prior to that, and being aware of Joe Ferguson in my early life, but I think the Stupor Bowl Shuffle is the first thing I remember with any detail. -
TBD's fave Wyatt Teller in the news

Alligators are pretty well managed by fish and wildlife. It's not like he went to Africa and paid off crooked cops so he could shoot a white rhino and grind its horn into magic sex pills. Also, alligators are delicious. -
It's fair to say that a non-Brady QB probably would have made fewer 1st downs, and that would have given KC more opportunities and the Pats fewer. That being said, KC's offensive line was hot garbage on Sunday, and Tampa's D was lights out. So yeah, I think most NFL QBs could have won that game with the Bucs team surrounding them.
