  1. Well, they did need a QB.
  2. Wow, for some reason I thought he was a lot older than that. I had no idea he was still playing! Good for him, I hope he still has his health.
  3. I have recruited quite a few bandwagon-jumpers over the years, even during the drought (playing the underdog angle). But they all still have a primary team that isn't the Bills, and I doubt they check in on any Bills boards.
  4. Oh my God - DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THEY REGISTERED??? I am totally getting them an Instant Pot.
  5. I think Vrabel and Maye flame out mid-season. Miami has enough talent, experience, and continuity that they should be the better team. But you never know.
  6. Good for CBCB cracking the top 20!
  7. If it was easy for fans to get to, it would be a circus. I’m guessing the team likes SJF because the isolation makes it easier for them to focus on their jobs. Only the hardest of the hardcore fans go through the trouble.
  8. Pretty favorable schedule overall; the only bummer I see is more travel later in the season, after the relatively early bye week is long gone. But no complaints!
  9. I always believe Super Bowl is a legit possibility with Allen at QB. But is this year any different/better? Yes, because last season was looking to be a rebuilding year going in, and it turned out to be one of the better (regular) seasons in Bills history. This year, the team looks a lot stronger going in. If they are able to improve on the field as much as they appear to have on paper, it should be a very, very good season.
  10. I would be down with the Kelly-era red helmets vs. the Pat Patriots, the green-masked Dolphin helmets, or even the 80's/90's JETS greens. That would be a fun retro experience.
  11. Good depth at WR if he doesn't cost too much. Probably decent value due to underwhelming career numbers. You have to believe he can be more productive with Allen throwing to him. Flacco is BY FAR the best QB he's ever had (though somewhat ironically, he had his worst season with Flacco...). Plenty of speed; maybe he can return kicks, too?
  12. Hopefully they get everyone they want at every pick, and no trades are needed.
  13. I like this better than signing some other middling CB who doesn't know the organization the way Tre does. He's also a great teammate, and in those ways he probably brings more value to the Bills than he would to any other team. I don't think it will prompt any change in Beane's draft choices, but hopefully it helps a lot with depth. Welcome back, Tre!
  14. I had forgotten how many of the players from the great '90s teams were already on the team in 1986.
  15. I understand the sentiment, but Ty doesn't get enough touches to be in contention for Fred status. If he starts catching multiple deep balls per game, which seems to be his superpower, then you could make a case. But as long as James Cook is a Bill, Ty Johnson is probably not going to have enough opportunities to do Fred-like things to become a Fred-like figure in the hearts of the fans.
  16. I would never write off a player like Diggs, but this does seem like a lot of money for his age, and for what he has shown on the field lately. If he can play like he did his prime years in Buffalo, it will be a great pickup for NE. But can he still do it?
  17. Looks eerily similar to Siran Neal on paper. Exact same size, not a starter despite crazy athleticism. Hopefully this guy can actually play defense!
  18. I think the Bills have been most successful when Josh improvises: He can buy enough time for coverage to fall apart, and then he can throw a dart to anywhere, from any position. It's a huge advantage, albeit a very unpredictable one. Unfortunately, he is not nearly as good at hitting the planned quick reads over and over again the way Brady did. If he ever figures that out, and I think he can, he could be the GOAT. He just needs to process the first two seconds of the play a lot faster.
  19. Don't forget about Ty Johnson, James Cook, Dalton Kincaid, and Dawson Knox. Having a good stable of talented receiving RBs and TEs helps reduce the need for a marquis receiver corps.
  20. It's kind of hard to justify an expensive WR when you never throw the ball to him.
  21. Wow, that's some good football theater. I have to say I'm a little shocked that Beane didn't come through with an offer, but I've seen stranger things happen. Too bad, I loved that guy. And now, sadly, he is the enemy.
  22. SLAYERRRRRR!!!!
