Madmen Sports- YouTube- you guys here?

That’s what people thought about Crunch Berries. The more the crunch berrier. Now there’s Oops! All crunchberries and my dentist is buying a second vacation home off of what he’s charging me to reconstruct my mouth! -
Especially when the teenager making your Subway sandwich is also called an artist.

I don’t subscribe to the myth that playing a young QB is somehow stunting their growth. As if there is a prerequisite time when the opposing defense will be easier to play against, coverages easier to read, and hits easier to take. You can watch as a backup for years, and study until the starter gets injured. But you still have to go into a live game at some point. Rosen has already jumped over that hurdle. He’s already started. Besides, testing Rosen’s mettle only finds out if he’s a diamond in the rough. If not, you have lots of picks and draft position.

Pancho Billa Simpsons cameo (sort of)
benderbender replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is awesome. Glad to see him immortalized. I just got the Pancho Power book and my son has picked that book two nights in a row for his bedtime story. I’ve yet to make it through without getting a case of the feels. Then again I’m not made of steel, I also struggle with the Giving Tree and I Love You Forever. Not a fan of anything referencing the circle of life before bed. -
Colin's Newest Power Ranking: Bills at 9.

That’s him in a nutshell. I’m convinced that he simply has his minions search Twitter for mentions and bases his show in proportion to the results. -
Zac Taylor on A.J. Green: 'We are not trading that guy'
benderbender replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shahid Khan also said he doesn’t want to trade Jalen RAMSEY. And every coach gets the vote of confidence just before getting fired. Not very much to read into when smoke screens are the norm. Green has been hurt often. I’d like him to be a James Lofton who came in later in his career and made his career here. But I have a sinking suspicion he’ll be an older version of Sammy Watkins. A highlight reel game followed by 8 weeks of game time decision injury status. -

VA Beach. GPS doesn’t say 11 hours but factoring traffic, bathroom/snack breaks, refueling, and general traveling with a kid, I feel making it in that time frame would be an accomplishment.
-
I’m making the 11 hour trek from SE VA for the Skins game as well. Was planning on bringing a coworker who was a diehard Washington fan but his fandom has died hard. That’s fine. Now this 5 year old gets to make his first Buffalo trip. Go Bills!

Duke WIlliams in relation to Kelvin Benjamin
benderbender replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is Benjamin even still in the league? When we traded for him I thought “good to have a veteran mentor,” and someone told me he was 26 at the time. I was confused as to how he seemed to run so slow and yet be so young. -
You’ve helped me realize that I’ve been thinking the same way about recent news I’ve received. I too have been rationalizing it away as necessary or perhaps even deserved. You’re allowed to make peace with No Goal, Wide Right, and the Illegal Forward Pass as you see fit. Going the Stockholm syndrome route is an interesting choice. But no one deserves to be devastated. Teams lose games in which they’ve “outplayed” the opposition every Sunday. This may not be cosmically fair, but life isn’t. Its just an odd thing I’ve realized we do as humans to rationalize terrible events by injecting a weird moral component into an outcome that we have no complete control over in the first place. But in the end life does go on. Winning in Tennessee today won’t change the past, but it sure would help me feel better in general. And I’ve made peace with that.

Given the great early start the team has had, it’s easy to let the expectations skyrocket. And while I think even with Allen sitting we’re the better team, let’s say things don’t go well against the Titans. Would it really be that big of a let down? Before the start of the season, just based on the schedule alone, would you have been okay with a record of 3-2 at the bye?

What will happen if the Bills do win this weekend
benderbender replied to Billsfanatixs's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sad that even if this team goes undefeated, the talent won’t dominate headlines. Instead the narrative will be “Is the Cheatriots era over?” Sure, we’ll get a few “isnt that quaint” segments. But our long suffering story isn’t as compelling to the mainstream audience as: the Browns talent dysfunction the Jets dumpster fire the second coming of Daniel Jones the lunch menu for the Dallas Cowboys how long until Jay Gruden gets fired Dolphins tanking for whoever the top pick seems to be at the moment wondering why Mahomes sounds like he swallowed a frog. I hate to admit how much, but I really enjoy any Bills content on the sports talking head shows. It’s been so enjoyable to have these people, who usually just ignore Buffalo on the basis of market size, forced to have to talk about us. -
Who is your most hated team in the NFC?
benderbender replied to Ice bowl 67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Cowboys. Their always getting airtime is more than annoying. They are a default segment of any sports show because you can always scrounge some kind of legal charges at random. They are the Lakers of the NFL: coverage even their performance is not worthy of journalistic coverage. Add to that Jerry Jones gets a free pass on everything. If there was another owner who did what he has allegedly said what he has said, supposedly done what he’s done, has the politics he does, and with that accent to boot, they’d take his team out of an abundance of caution. -
