  1. The Peloton commercial was annoying before any new articles. And it’s been replayed so many times I can’t help but discover new problems with each replay. So many issues: 1) Where did the daughter go? Who is watching her while she CrossFit trains constantly? Does anyone even care? The worst part is that there’s already a kids version. 2) How narcissistic is this character to constantly film herself? Is she supposed to be a YouTuber or a Kardashian? The kicker is that she doesn’t even thank her guy until supposedly weeks later, and she only does it by a video retrospective. 3) Peloton has no awareness when it comes to the cost of housing. Even in their other commercials, every one is apparently aimed at affluent childless females who either married architects, or are one themselves. 4) 6 am? That’s insanely early? Her makeup is flawless anyway. Good for her. Must be nice. My hair is thinning and I’d like to not care but I still style my Homer Simpson-like 2 hairs so others think I care. 5) I love how the some of the criticism is that she thanks the person who dropped at least 2k on a gift. That is 2019 in a gender fluid sexually non-specific nutshell.
  2. It must be a really tough time for you and yours. God bless.
  3. The better question would be wouldn’t Daboll leave? He’s been absolutely everywhere. His area connections didn’t stop him from taking any other opening.
  4. I wouldn’t necessarily label the Ravens game a “revenge game” for John Brown. He was with the Cardinals longer and was on a prove it one year contract in Baltimore. But if it helps motivate the team like it did in Dallas, I’m all for it. I’m really hoping for the chance crowd surfing to become a tradition as John Brown lights up his former team.
  5. This thread was bumpy
  6. The D needs to forget that Lamar is a QB once he starts an option play. When it’s an option, he’s a runner, so blast him.
  7. If Jones had fires Garrett after the Patriots game, the blowback and criticism would have been massive. The Patriots have a good record, it might have been seen as an overreaction. But a loss to the Bills at home is completely different scenario and it seems by his subtle hints and not so subtle hints that this loss would be the back breaker. Would the Cowboys break tradition and fire Garrett in season after a prime time home field loss when being favored by almost a touchdown? Does he survive a close loss?
  8. As long as Dallas and LeBron are trending on Twitter, they will be talked about. This is what passes for show prep now. But man would I love for the Bills to be the reason for non-stop Cowboys disaster coverage this weekend. A win would be great, but if we got a Dallas coach fired mid-season in the process, it would be the most satisfying Thanksgiving since the Butterball truck overturned on the highway.
  9. Do the Titans qualify being perpetually “in the mix?”
  10. Not a conspiracy theorist but it definitely seemed like the fix was in. The ref closest to the play was a little too sure Watson was down and refused to even check to see who had the ball. Yet another headscratcher about what is replay for? We have modern technology, multiple cameras, and no reasonable explanation as to why it isn’t utilized. People have no other alternative than to make up their own reasons why.
  11. I’m guilty of almost voting for Kiko Alonso for the Pro Bowl more than once. On mobile, when you sort the players by team, the ILB section has Alonso just below Edmunds. It is alphabetical after your selected team order, so no conspiracy. Just annoying for meatheads like me who are trying to breeze through and engage as few brain cells as possible. Just wondering if I’m on an island on this.
  12. Congratulations to Dion. He is a good dude. He did a Cameo video for me earlier in the season and seemed like he genuinely cares about the fans. Couldn’t be happier for him.
  13. Too early? Have you seen the schedule and the honey nut cluster of teams competing for a wild card? Maybe a week early at the most and that’s only if you’re an optimist. But considering that the only 2 games we’re expected to win are the Broncos next week and the Jets in week 17, we’re going to be talking tie breakers for the rest of the season.
  14. I have it on good authority that Lee’s favorite movie is Braveheart
  15. I sincerely hope our FO has more self awareness than that. I want him to love Buffalo and I hope he does. But we live in the age of super agents, free agency, and Not to mention the weather and NY taxes. We can’t expect a hometown discount.
  16. When will everyone learn that modern viral marketing isn’t simply trying to appeal to people but rather trying to invoke a response. I.e. how attack ads have replaced pro politician ads. We’ve discovered that you're more likely to spend time taking a survey if you were pissed off than you would if you were satisfied.
  17. You didn’t miss out on anything by bailing. Don’t hit subscribe just yet. I’ve only listened to this episode but it wasn’t very deep diving or really discussing X’s and O’s. More like they asked general football questions to 3 players and edited the most interesting responses. But I have to say, the sound quality is very good as podcasts go. They must use the best equipment.
  18. I imagine he’d stop halfway through the answer, excuse himself, go to the bathroom and climb out the window. Or did you mean Vontaze?
  19. That, plus they’ve learned about modern viral marketing from Nike. What you do is take an unpopular stance, create a tenuous at best correlation to any issue (i.e. I’m not obeying red stop signs because Himalayan farmers are ridiculed for their funny hats), hype it to death, then wait for the clicks to come rolling in. While the majority reaction may be unfavorable, any news is good news and Nike’s stock proved that merely getting mentions outweighs any blowback.
  20. The small silver lining is that at least we can do a ritual reset. I came up for the Redskins game and wore 2 layers plus jacket hat and gloves. Back in VA, it was a little warm for all that.
  21. *puts on my depression cap* Since a loss to the Steelers is a given, there goes our WC spot
