  1. I remember the groans when we passed on Rosen. But Mina Kimes reaction will stay with me always.
  2. He’s only here so he doesn’t get fined.
  3. A sign of the times: being insulted on behalf of others.
  4. I hate to credit Dan Lebatard for anything, but he really nailed Bruschi‘s m.o. by naming him Baghdad Bruschi. Also said something like “Is Brushci just a real life burner account for Bill Bellichick?”
  5. according to one of the top google results, we need more mass gatherings. good thing there’s the possibility of a home playoff win, conference title, super bowl appearance, and super bowl win to celebrate.
  6. who just rewound to watch Bojo’s robot high fives?
  7. How about as a non-fumbling mentor to Moss?
  8. Hauschka was a class act. Good attitude. Mostly dependable. Gave to the community. Everything you’d want in a kicker. He went 4/4 in the 100 degree Broncos game 2017 which was my wife’s first Bills game so I owe him for being almost 50% of the offense.
  9. I always have to double take on the early 80s red helmets with blue facemasks. It reminds me of messing with the contrast on the old dinosaur television we had growing up. Until the tube went out and then we used to put a smaller tv on top of it because the sound still worked. It was ghetto surround sound.
  10. two separate pushes on two out of bounds plays
  11. Brian Flores is so clever. Sure, this was all his master plan: bench Fitz and win 3 games pull Tua despite him coming back to win at AZ tell everyone Tua wasn’t pulled for injury announce Tua will start announce Tua is injured start Fitz super bowl?
  12. Any reason why the Titan got off without even a slap on the wrist while all other teams get fined?
  13. You, sir, have hit the nail on the head. This season is a monkey’s paw wish from the drought. When loss that drops us to 7-3 is unbearable. Having a Bills QB in the top 5 in passing merely highlights our running game struggles. Our center who is probably top 5 in the league, and whom we paid a kings ransom for has been cleared, but he’s merely “in the mix.”
  14. Christie/Carpenter are 1a and 1b. Hauschka is 2. but right now it’s
  15. Bojo: because he makes punting look like the hardest thing on Earth to do...besides holding that is.
  16. wow. we’re going to send an exhausted defense back on the field? yikes
  17. Credit to Bojo for stepping up his holding game
  18. He seems to have an overall esoteric value that only fans can recognize, and a skill set that most experts admit. So much like Jim Kelly. Kelly had his mobility and injury concerns. Allen has his “hero ball” and sometimes inexplicable inability to see wide open receivers. And unlike with Ryan Fitzpatrick, we’ve already accepted his downsides, embraced his high ceiling, and act amazed when he actually progresses. Pretty much the exact opposite of Fitz now that I think of it. That being said, any other GM in the league will say:
  19. it’s the equivalent of doing this in only timey boxing
  20. I think this thread was started in a “can you believe it?” kind of slant, but otherwise I’m with you.
  21. This. Our team specifically has historically been discriminated against. Last years Texans playoff games two overturned calls by New York, the Rams INT (which, by rule, had to be a fumble in order for possession to change because an INT couldn’t be simultaneous possession and should be petitioned to be asterisked in the stats), and other examples that escape me at the moment. Part of me feels that McDermott doesn’t want to waste time outs on things that are out of his control and, most times, seem to defy logic. Similar to challenging a basketball foul which is the most subjective in sports. The other part knows that McDermott more importantly is a no excuses type coach. He seems to understand better than fans that bad calls are a part of the game.
  22. Every time someone wants to chant about “team identity” and/or “establish the run,” I have flashbacks of all those games against the Pats where BB started the game with 15 passes and 2 runs. Then when they had a nice comfortable lead, it was suddenly run heavy just when we had compensated. It’s so awesome to have signal callers that can actually put the opponent on their heels for once. No one knew what the Pats identity was. They just knew they had weapons and they could unleash them at any time. Why have an identity at all? It only assists the other team’s game plan. “Be water.” - Bruce Lee
