  1. Odds are if you are looking for a coach your team is at least somewhat in disorder. But I do agree they seem to be extra out of order despite the Eagles being a traditionally well run team and the Texans have a franchise QB.
  2. McBeane has done a great job all around finding talent with lesser resources. In 2019 he rebuilt the Oline with only one major free agency addition (Mitch) and one high draft pick (Ford who hasn't put it together yet). He got Spain and Mongo to be starting caliber guards on the cheap and signed Ty to a mid level deal to be a decent RT. McBeane in 2020 then found D.Willaims as the ultimate reclamation project at RT and developed Ike to handle Spain's duties once he imploded and Ford got hurt. If you look all around this roster you see a lot of great value findings. T.Johnson is a Nickel corner who was a 4th round pick, Levi Wallace was undradted and is starting opposite Tre, and Poyer was a complete out of nowhere lower mid-level signing at one of the safety positions. Finding guys who are lesser heralded and turning them into productive players is how you build a Super Bowl contender.
  3. Bills get an extra day of rest and preparation for KC. Hopefully that translates to having a better gameplan this time around.
  4. No matter what he is going to be banged up if he plays. Not only is he coming off a concussion but he also dinged his foot earlier in the game. He is still super dangerous banged up but hopefully just a little less so.
  5. A win this year would cement Josh as having the best season of all time in franchise history and it would really reward the legends from the 90's who stuck with the team. Thomas, Kelly, Bruce and most of the rest of the legends were always consistently showing up for this team in the drought years. They always tried to tell new draft picks and acquisitions how great the city was and how great the fans are even when the organization wasn't there. A SB win would be an insane destination for this team who entered into 2017 coming off a failed Rex experiment and in cap hell with no great plan at QB. I can't get too ahead of myself KC away is a tall order so let's just focus on that! Unfortunately no, for some reason pro-football history resets during the Super Bowl Era.
  6. You aren't getting any argument from me. That was insane to hear actual crowd noisie impacting a game this year. Just a sight to behold.
  7. The coach was also asked about that specifically and I honestly don't know what he was supposed to say. The wind did impact that game. Not only did both kickers miss kicks that they most likely would have normally made but the ball was hard to throw and I do think some of the Baltimore drops were the result of the ball moving in a weird way they aren't used to. I think the game was a fun odd ball game and the wind was the direct result of that. Playing in Buffalo in January is hard and part of the home field advantage is to know those winds and play better in them. No shame, plenty of places like Green Bay, Chicago, New Jersey (for two teams the Jets and Giants), Baltimore, Pittsburg, New England, Cleveland, Washington, KC, Denver and Philly all play outdoors in cold weather cities. That's 13 teams including Buffalo that play in those conditions or just about 40% of the league.
  8. You could hear it on the broadcast. I think putting all the fans in the lower bowl helps How do they handle ticketing for these games? Is it a lottery or season ticket holders getting priority? I couldn't go being out of town but I am just curious as to how they decide these things. Hopefully they let and another 3-6k in the upper bowl if the Browns win.
  9. Love this type of stuff. Hopefully this will be more what Bills fans are known for.
  10. McD the past 4 years has proven he was a good if not very good regular season coach. 2017 - He overachieves with a team that most likely was a 6-7 win team. Lucks into the playoffs but proves his process and game style works. 2018- He somehow gets 6 wins out of a team boasting a bad ST unit and the second worst offense in the league. 2019- 10 wins (could have been 11 if they didn't rest week 17) and development for Josh. Cements himself as not being a one hit wonder and gets a young team some playoff experience. 2020- 13 wins and a division title and one hail Murray away from a 14th win. Excellent season where the team had some issues early but turned it into full gear the second half of the year. But the questions coming out of the 2020 regular season was can McD win in the playoffs? He won against Indy in a squeaker but he still needed to prove that he can win consistently against elite competition. Against the Ravens his team proved that. Now we can see where this team and Josh stands against elite competition next week.
  11. I don't see why they couldn't put at least 3-4 thousand more fans in the nose bleeds.
  12. The offense bailed out the defense against the Colts, the defense bailed out the offense against the Ravens. That creates a lot of trust on both sides of the ball. But they will need a complete team effort to win the AFCCG.
  13. Davis didn't look hobbled he just looked covered more. But Beasley looked invisible. Hopefully he didn't get much wear and tear this week and he can be 100% or at least closer to 100%. A positive sign for the WR corps was John Brown looked healthy. Brown's numbers weren't huge but given the wind they were nice. He looked like he was pre-injury which is huge.
  14. I think so, his sack numbers aren't huge (51 sacks in 8 seasons) but he has been the heart and soul of the defense for the past 8 seasons and has been the emotional leader of the McD defense from 2017-2020 while being a key component of strong defenses in 2013 and 2014. I assume he will at least play one more season so that would leave him with 9 or more seasons played. An impressive resume that I do think is Wall of Fame Worthy.
  15. It feels unreal. Just making the playoffs seemed like a daunting task in 2010. After they hired Chan and things were dreadful I actually began to lose hope as a fan. I just assumed that Ralph would live forever and things would never turn around. The team can't get free agents, they can't draft, they could never get a good coach and they couldn't seem to do anything right. Even when they improved a bit it was still the 9 win mark as the high point. Now the Bills are in a position to win one more game and go to the Super Bowl with a shot at hosting the game none the less (this isn't a cinderella story the Bills are the freaking 2 seed). This team has won in multiple ways this playoffs. The offense bailed out the defense against the Colts and the defense bailed out the offense against the Ravens. But to win the next game they are going to need a complete effort. Hopefully both sides of the ball show up and show out and we can be AFC champions!
  16. He had a good game in the playoffs where it counts the most. I thought Murphy not being cut in the regular season might be the biggest mistake of the year since that 8 million in rollover would have helped to retain more players for 2021. But being a significant contributor for the playoffs is worth it. I was really impressed by what I saw from Murphy.
  17. Did you call Bernie Sanders a radical communist for pointing all of this out over 4 decades?
  18. I expect to see a lot of Klein out there. I also wouldn't be shocked to see Butler take the bulk of the snaps at one of the DT snaps.
  19. I always think it is better to go with an up and coming coordinator over a retread, so in that sense the Jets made the right move. But will this pan out? I don't know. I have a feeling this is more likely to end up like a Todd Bowles hire. Probably will win 4-6 games in 2021, then 7 games in 2022 and having a winning season in 2023 9-10 games before having a pair of 6 win seasons in 2024-2025 before being fired. But who knows maybe he can actually turn around their organization.
  20. At this point after 4 years of ***** George W Bush style policy, mishandling a pandemic and advocating a coup all while taking no responsibility for anything and most public viral supporters turning out to be open racists I have no idea why anyone would love Trump unless they are a racist or very poorly educated and unwilling to consider that maybe the guy from the Apprentice who writes on Twitter like a 14 year old isn't very good at one of the hardest jobs in the world.
  21. If Trump only had a base of 20% of the GOP you wouldn't see so many Congress people and likely Senators cucking down to him because they fear his base of support.
  22. The MAGA crowd is the party in my opinion. If the MAGA crowd wasn't at least 60-70% of the party (And I think it is probably closer to 80%) than the establishment of the GOP wouldn't be so afraid to kick him out or vote against him. Only 10 Congress members voted to kick him out. Ted Cruz has licked Trump's balls over and over again even after he called his wife ugly, said his dad possibly was involved in the plot to kill JFK and almost got an angry mob to kill him. I don't really see any meaningful evidence that the MAGA crowd isn't the party. The GOP voter percentage increased from 2016 to 2020, so clearly even mishandling a pandemic didn't turn off the GOP from Trump. His approval never dipped below the mid 80's during his mishandling of the pandemic it only dipped 9 points after an attempted coup attempt. I do agree that someone is going to co-opt the MAGA crowd and build a new cult of personality, but only if Trump gives them their blessing/approval. If Trump runs again in 2024 no one is going to out Trump, Trump himself. Ted Cruz ran against Trump in 2016 with the same type of awful agenda and speech he even tried to point out that Trump is from Liberal New York City (and Trump invoking 9/11 was actually a fantastic comeback to that) and Cruz got waxed. The future of the GOP is MAGA, and look no further than the impeachment vote.
  23. If Trump is allowed to run again he will easily walk through the nomination process. At his lowest point 75% of the base loves him and the Congress members he put in danger still **** to him because they know the MAGA crowd is the party.
  24. Trump has a 75% approval rating within the GOP still even after the coup attempt/riot. If he doesn't get impeached and is able to run again in 2024 he will easily win the nomination. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/13/trump-approval-rating-poll-458602
  25. Typically I like to kick and get the ball back at the half. As no matter what if you are winning or losing you always want the ball to start the next half. If you are winning you want to build on your lead, if you are down you want to have the ball to start a comeback. So no matter what the situation you want the ball to start the second half. However, with the Bills high flying offense I don't necessarily mind them puting the offense out to start the game. Mainly because the Bills defense is much better when it can pin back and force an offense to pass. The pass rush is better when they aren't being run on and the secondary plays better when things are one dimensional. The best way to force any team to become a one dimensional passing offense is to get out early on them. And when you put up 7 on the opening drive like the Bills have been able to do a lot times it sets the tone and it might be worth forfeiting the ball to start the second half.
