  1. I agree somewhat but I do think that Milano's sideline to sideline skills and solid tackling ability can fit in other schemes. He plays really well in the nickel and can cover lesser tight ends and good running backs out of the backfield. I think there are a lot of other scheme fits for him around the league. BUT I do think that he has to place himself in the right situation and there isn't a better situation for him for both team success and individual success than Buffalo. I think that his health will prevent him from getting that huge offer he could have received if he had a big year and stayed healthy. I think his best bet would be to take a two year deal 14-16 million total modest guarantee on year one and two and try to hit the market in a couple of years when the cap is higher and he has two more years in a system that makes him look good. The long winded point I am trying to make is that I don't think Milano's skills are so specialized to the system that he would only be successful in McD's system. Milano could work in a variety of 4-3 systems. BUT given his health concerns and his comfort within the system it might make sense for him to take a two year deal that puts him in a reasonable range and in line to get a big contract while he is still in his 20's. Even for all the ***** Norman took in Washington he was still an above average corner there for his first three seasons. It wasn't until 2019 when he became a complete liability that he was cut.
  2. I think they have to name their price with Milano and accept it if he gets a better offer elsewhere. I would say that due to his constant nagging injuries Milano's price point should be pegged at 7-8 million per year with a modest guarantee over the course of 3 years.
  3. Got to sweep the Pats this year. Yes I know the Pats are still strong defensively and Cam is having a turn around season. But if there was any year where expectations to turn things around against the Pats were justified it is this year. Yes the Bills could likely split against the Pats and win the division. But the Bills need to avoid a mental trap with the Pats. The Bills need to avoid feeling like they are the permanent little brother. They lost twice last year in winnable games and a tough split this year could only reinforce that.
  4. I thought the schedules hardest stretch came from week 5 to 9. The Rams and Raiders in my mind were solid teams but teams the Bills should have been able to handle (although the Rams are better than I thought). I thought of the Titans and Pats games as a toss up and then the Chiefs and Seahawks games as a hard to win. The only favored game in that span is the Jets. The Titans covid situation puts things up in the air for this game as I am thinking the Titans covid outbreak is likely to benefit the Bills if a game were to be played Sunday. I never bought the hype of how "hard" the schedule was. I think fans overrated that type of thing
  5. 4-0 and the Bills need to finish fattening up and go to 5-0 before hitting the next 4 game stretch which will be the hardest of the season. Vegas is a decent team and on the road the Bills took care of them.
  6. I think Zay will likely hang around the league a few more years, I think the Bills were the wrong place at the wrong time for him. He needed to adjust to being in the NFL slowly and he was in over his head in Buffalo. I don't think he will develop into anything other than a high end back up player but I could see him developing into a better slot player.
  7. Last year two game changing TE's played each other in the Super Bowl. In 2018 Ertz won against Gronk. Gronk also won in 2019, 2017 and 2014. So recent history states its a position that is pretty successful at an elite level.
  8. Why do people think this schedule is so difficult? Even pessimistically looking at the schedule its not that difficult. Yes after the Titans game the Bills have a hard 4 game stretch. Pats, Chiefs and Seahawks (with the only easy game being the Jets) is a touch stretch but I think they can go 2-2 in that stretch and if they enter into that stretch 4-1 (Which would be splitting the Titans and Raiders game which I think this team can take both.) That would put them at 6-3 going into a back half of the season that is favorable 3 game stretch where at worst they should be able to go 2-1 (which puts them at 8-4) and then they can go 2-2 to end the season (Pats, Steelers, Broncos and Fins) and still finish 10-6. Overall I say just focus about going 4-0 against the Raiders. The Bills do admittedly have a tough stretch coming on after the Titans game. So these next two weeks in my opinion will be critical if the Bills hope to go 12+ wins and be in contention for that bye week. If they split these next two I think they go 11-5 if they enter into that Chiefs game 5-0 then I think this is a 12+ win team that can win the division and can be in contention for the bye.
  9. TE, DE, and CB are all the most urgent areas of need in my opinion. Maybe even LB if Milano leaves via free agency. I can also see an early round pick at safety as Hyde and Poyer age and reach the end of their contracts. It feels good to have a roster with no urgent and glaring needs. A lot of these areas of concern are either trying to upgrade an OK position or trying to get younger while effective starters age.
  10. He was solid in his first three years in Washington from 2016 to 2018. He was an effective corner but he was considered a disappointment in those years not because he was bad but because he was signed to be a top tier corner (as he was an All-Pro in 2015.) Granted he was a disaster in 2019 for the Skins. But If he can just be an effective corner like he was those first three years in Washington that will be a plus.
  11. It should already be in place. At least two league wide byes for rescheduled games would have given a lot of buffer for these types of outbreaks. Now the league and these teams have to scramble. It's a bad look on the NFL's part.
  12. You can find tutorials online how to do it. Honestly it isn't convenient but if you are even a little computer savvy you can figure it out. 2K5 definitely holds up surprisingly well. The whole thing plays so different (in a good way) from Madden, it took 2 games to adjust to it for me but once I got a feel for it, the game felt like true simulation football even if it had some issues.
  13. There was also the time when the NFL had 31 teams between the Texans expansion so there was 1 team that had to have a bye each week. So a team had a bye each week so a team had a bye week week 1 and week 17. I think that the NFL should have baked in 2 league wide bye weeks (push the start of the playoffs back 2 weeks) and any of these games that had to be rescheduled due to Covid could have been played during a league wide bye.
  14. I think the Covid outbreak disrupting their practice is more of a disadvantage than the bye week leading into the game is an advantage.
  15. Sadly you could always play NFL2K5 with the roster update that fans make every year. That's probably the only alternative and it is a pain in the ass.
  16. The silent killer
  17. I think people are really hard on Edumonds overly so. He was a solid MLB the first half of last season and then the back half of the season turned it on to a near All-Pro level. He was lights out against the Jets and then got hurt. He played up and down against the Rams (I thought he had a good first half bad second half.) I am not ready to say this team need to draft a MLB next year just yet like some have been hyperbolically stating. I don't know how so many people forget that Phillips was a pass rusher and not a run stuffer. When this team suffered a big lapse in run defense from weeks 7-11 last year teams were picking on Phillips freelancing ways. Now McD did adjust the scheme to work around Phillips (who was a good pass rusher) but it wasn't like Phillips was a big part of the run defense. I think people see the flashy plays and his size and think he was a bigger part of the team's success last year in the ground game than he was.
  18. He was looking like he was about to have a breakout in 2019 then he got hurt. He hasn't come back to that form in 2020.
  19. Feeling good about the Raiders game, Titans are tough but I think this team should win hopefully the Bills can fatten up to 5-0 before hitting their hardest stretch of games.
  20. I think the matchups are favorable to the Bills. Cards weak oline will favor the defense and the offense can wear down the mid-level defense. The Chargers aren't impressing me, they remind me of the 2018 Bills, good defense hung out to dry by a bad offense.
  21. I prefer to stick with the same 5 guys for continuity and chemistry. But in a season that is not ordinary (no pre-season no conventional off-season training program) I feel as though there might be something to this strategy to take advantage of the deepest O-line in the league (I don't know of any other team that has 3-4 starting caliber players on the bench) and try to shuffle things around to keep the injury risk minimal.
  22. Bills need to pile up a win here and get to 4-0. Vegas isn't a bad team, they should be in playoff contention on the fringes but the Bills need to in my opinion pile up this win to go 4-0 into a tough stretch of games. After the Raiders they play a hard out in the Titans, a Super Bowl favorite in the Chiefs, a gimmie against the Jets and then the Pats and Seahawks two very good teams. Ideally I would like to see the Bills get to 5-0 and then go 2-2 at a minimum (beat the Jets and then one of those other three preferably the Pats) in that next really tough 4 games to get to 7-2. Then the schedule does ease up where they have two winnable games against the Cardinals and Chargers where they could beef back up to 9-2 going into the final 5 games where they have 2 "gimmie" games against the Broncos and Fins and a tough but doable stretch of games against the Steelers, Pats and 49ers. Ideally if they can go 3-2 in that final 5 games they could get to 12 wins which should set them up to win the division. Overall it is such a huge game to get fat on this early schedule and beat a respectable but not so great team in the Raiders.
  23. You should be allowed to sue the ***** out of your job for that. That puts you in danger and any clients/customers. You don't necessarily have to shut a place down but you should inform and test your employees.
  24. Random people on the internet know better than the FBI whose expertise and billions of dollars in resources are dedicated to studying this.
  25. In Miami the defense despite having two key LB's out only have up 21 points (7 points in garbage time) it was Josh and the offense stalling at 17 points that led to the deficit. The Rams were held in check in the first half and first half of the third quarter. And the Rams (who have a top 7 offense) big 29 point rally was aided by 2 turnovers from the offense (one bogus but still.) So while I am concerned about the defense I am not writing them off just yet.
