  1. Never heard that, a bit messed up if that’s the true context of what he said but even then the guy was the most productive QB to come to the team in nearly 20 years. I just don’t understand the hate he gets.
  2. No idea why Tyrod gets so much hate around here. Just because he wasn’t a game changing franchise QB doesn’t mean he deserves scorn for ending a massive playoff drought.
  3. Jones is one of the most influential owners so him being against any move is a positive. Regardless of motive it is a positive.
  4. I look forward to Phillips coming back in 2022 on a small deal and being a productive player again. The issue was that the players they spent that money on (Addison, Butler and Jefferson) weren’t that impactful in 2020. But it was absolutely the right call to move on from both.
  5. The Bills simply liked whatelse they had on the roster better. Not that complicated, good for Hollister to catch on.
  6. Superstitions are really not worth it and don't work in my opinion. I have literally tried every which way to develop lucky hats and t-shirts along with places and ways to watch and everything is just seemingly random. The only thing I need for the game is a good place to watch it and for my wife not to bother me.
  7. The Bills have all 7 components needed to win a Super Bowl. Management, Coaching, QB, Non-QB offensive talent, defense, special teams and depth. They got the monkey off their back last season winning not one but two playoff games and playing in three playoff games against good competition. It's all there for another deep run barring catastrophic injury, just have to hope things go right.
  8. Dude is 23 and how much eligibility does he have left?
  9. I think they can redo Poyer's deal to free up 2ish million in space, should be the emergency money needed to manage the rest of the season.
  10. If he isn’t good enough to make the Lions I doubt he is good enough to make this roster.
  11. I think it was just as simple as his contract demands were too high and they went with an effective but cheaper alternative.
  12. No big shockers in the final cuts outside of Hollister. A good deep team ready to make a deep run in the playoffs.
  13. What good is experience if you aren’t performing well? But I do agree Addison is likely to stay. I think it is clear that they like the versatility and depth he provides. I see him doing a lot of the stuff Lorax used to do now that hopefully they need him less off the edge.
  14. The best value is to get a player that stuffs the run and is a positive pass rusher. Their metric in saying that having a big time run stuffer will make your defense worse is just flawed. Run stuffers help a defense but one dimensional run stuffers are more of a niche in the modern NFL.
  15. Bills clear the logjam at DE a little bit and pocket a late round pick for their troubles. Still would not be shocked to see Addison traded if the right move is there but I think this move means they are carrying 6 DE’s and 4 DT’s.
  16. No team is giving up a good young CB for Addison. At best you might get a 5th round pick.
  17. I think Addison gets traded for a 5th round pick not sure on any other surprises but it will be tough to make some of these edge of the roster decisions.
  18. I think this trade is likely something in place for the 2022 season. It just doesn’t make sense for any team to trade 5 picks in the first two rounds plus likely other assets for a QB who is under federal investigation and is possible that they won’t play any time soon.
  19. I think Lamar deserves his contract but bigger than Josh’s? I get the Ravens don’t have the same style of offense and the numbers disparity is a function of various factors but Lamar has showcased his game has limitations that he has to overcome. Give both their big deals but the comparison is stupid.
  20. The Pats are well coached and have at least mid level NFL talent. That’s a recipe for above .500 if healthy. They aren’t going to be a pushover.
  21. Bledsoe had a great first half of 2002 but then declined in second half and had a terrible 2003 followed up by a decent 2004. Probably should have held onto him for one more year as he was decent in 2005 with the Cowboys and JP was in over his head in 2005. I do wonder if part of his decline was bad Oline play. Dude was an immobile QB and the Oline was not very good in his 3 seasons here. Just interesting to me that the team never made massive investments to the line while he was here.
  22. The media was focused on BS back in 2010 as they are now. The advent of 24 hour news is what created a hyper focus on issues that don’t matter (with few exceptions there isn’t 24 hours worth of news in a day) I digress that even in 1996 the news cycle made the NBA player refusing to stand for the anthem a big story. FYI that Abdul-Rauf story happened in 1996 not 2010 and it was a fairly big deal at the time.
  23. The team since 2019 certainly has made the investment into the Dline draft capital wise. Ed, AJ, Greg and Boogie all players drafted in the first two rounds. Have to hope that at least 2 of these guys turn into high end players.
