  1. I don't see why they couldn't put at least 3-4 thousand more fans in the nose bleeds.
  2. The offense bailed out the defense against the Colts, the defense bailed out the offense against the Ravens. That creates a lot of trust on both sides of the ball. But they will need a complete team effort to win the AFCCG.
  3. Davis didn't look hobbled he just looked covered more. But Beasley looked invisible. Hopefully he didn't get much wear and tear this week and he can be 100% or at least closer to 100%. A positive sign for the WR corps was John Brown looked healthy. Brown's numbers weren't huge but given the wind they were nice. He looked like he was pre-injury which is huge.
  4. I think so, his sack numbers aren't huge (51 sacks in 8 seasons) but he has been the heart and soul of the defense for the past 8 seasons and has been the emotional leader of the McD defense from 2017-2020 while being a key component of strong defenses in 2013 and 2014. I assume he will at least play one more season so that would leave him with 9 or more seasons played. An impressive resume that I do think is Wall of Fame Worthy.
  5. It feels unreal. Just making the playoffs seemed like a daunting task in 2010. After they hired Chan and things were dreadful I actually began to lose hope as a fan. I just assumed that Ralph would live forever and things would never turn around. The team can't get free agents, they can't draft, they could never get a good coach and they couldn't seem to do anything right. Even when they improved a bit it was still the 9 win mark as the high point. Now the Bills are in a position to win one more game and go to the Super Bowl with a shot at hosting the game none the less (this isn't a cinderella story the Bills are the freaking 2 seed). This team has won in multiple ways this playoffs. The offense bailed out the defense against the Colts and the defense bailed out the offense against the Ravens. But to win the next game they are going to need a complete effort. Hopefully both sides of the ball show up and show out and we can be AFC champions!
  6. He had a good game in the playoffs where it counts the most. I thought Murphy not being cut in the regular season might be the biggest mistake of the year since that 8 million in rollover would have helped to retain more players for 2021. But being a significant contributor for the playoffs is worth it. I was really impressed by what I saw from Murphy.
  7. Did you call Bernie Sanders a radical communist for pointing all of this out over 4 decades?
  8. I expect to see a lot of Klein out there. I also wouldn't be shocked to see Butler take the bulk of the snaps at one of the DT snaps.
  9. I always think it is better to go with an up and coming coordinator over a retread, so in that sense the Jets made the right move. But will this pan out? I don't know. I have a feeling this is more likely to end up like a Todd Bowles hire. Probably will win 4-6 games in 2021, then 7 games in 2022 and having a winning season in 2023 9-10 games before having a pair of 6 win seasons in 2024-2025 before being fired. But who knows maybe he can actually turn around their organization.
  10. At this point after 4 years of ***** George W Bush style policy, mishandling a pandemic and advocating a coup all while taking no responsibility for anything and most public viral supporters turning out to be open racists I have no idea why anyone would love Trump unless they are a racist or very poorly educated and unwilling to consider that maybe the guy from the Apprentice who writes on Twitter like a 14 year old isn't very good at one of the hardest jobs in the world.
  11. If Trump only had a base of 20% of the GOP you wouldn't see so many Congress people and likely Senators cucking down to him because they fear his base of support.
  12. The MAGA crowd is the party in my opinion. If the MAGA crowd wasn't at least 60-70% of the party (And I think it is probably closer to 80%) than the establishment of the GOP wouldn't be so afraid to kick him out or vote against him. Only 10 Congress members voted to kick him out. Ted Cruz has licked Trump's balls over and over again even after he called his wife ugly, said his dad possibly was involved in the plot to kill JFK and almost got an angry mob to kill him. I don't really see any meaningful evidence that the MAGA crowd isn't the party. The GOP voter percentage increased from 2016 to 2020, so clearly even mishandling a pandemic didn't turn off the GOP from Trump. His approval never dipped below the mid 80's during his mishandling of the pandemic it only dipped 9 points after an attempted coup attempt. I do agree that someone is going to co-opt the MAGA crowd and build a new cult of personality, but only if Trump gives them their blessing/approval. If Trump runs again in 2024 no one is going to out Trump, Trump himself. Ted Cruz ran against Trump in 2016 with the same type of awful agenda and speech he even tried to point out that Trump is from Liberal New York City (and Trump invoking 9/11 was actually a fantastic comeback to that) and Cruz got waxed. The future of the GOP is MAGA, and look no further than the impeachment vote.
  13. If Trump is allowed to run again he will easily walk through the nomination process. At his lowest point 75% of the base loves him and the Congress members he put in danger still **** to him because they know the MAGA crowd is the party.
  14. Trump has a 75% approval rating within the GOP still even after the coup attempt/riot. If he doesn't get impeached and is able to run again in 2024 he will easily win the nomination. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/13/trump-approval-rating-poll-458602
  15. Typically I like to kick and get the ball back at the half. As no matter what if you are winning or losing you always want the ball to start the next half. If you are winning you want to build on your lead, if you are down you want to have the ball to start a comeback. So no matter what the situation you want the ball to start the second half. However, with the Bills high flying offense I don't necessarily mind them puting the offense out to start the game. Mainly because the Bills defense is much better when it can pin back and force an offense to pass. The pass rush is better when they aren't being run on and the secondary plays better when things are one dimensional. The best way to force any team to become a one dimensional passing offense is to get out early on them. And when you put up 7 on the opening drive like the Bills have been able to do a lot times it sets the tone and it might be worth forfeiting the ball to start the second half.
  16. They are up there with the Colts, Chiefs and Steelers as being the second best team in the AFC since 2000.
  17. Baltimore has also been a super successful team in general outside of their two SB wins, since 2000 the team has made the playoffs 13 times and in the 8 seasons they have missed the playoffs they only had sub .500 records 4 of those seasons. The Bills franchise is far more starved for winning.
  18. Last year I thought this team tackled really well. I guess that goes to show you the eye test isn't always accurate.
  19. There are 4 prime time young stud QB's in Josh, Mahomes, Watson and Lamar, Baker Mayfield is right on the cusp of that and Herbert and Burrow have shown a lot of promise. Lawrence a generational QB prospect is also coming into the AFC. That's 8 young QB's all of whom could be top 10 QB's in the league. Yes between Herbert, Burrow, Mayfield and Lawrence there is likely to be at least 1-2 busts in there but it could be possible that in 2-3 years 7 out of the top 10 QB's in the league are in the AFC and all will be 28 or younger.
  20. While some of the denials were based off of lack of jurisdiction or lack of standing many were also denied outright on their merits. Many of these affidavits have been proven to not be evidence of fraud but people making misunderstanding or mistakes such as thinking news vans loading and unloading their equipment were swapping out voting machines (which was proven not to be the case by other witnesses and security cameras). Some of these affidavits were just BS or people making outright mistakes. These are the legal claims you think have any legitimacy? I could provide more quotes and links if you like to know what the Trump campaign was actually claiming in court. https://www.politifact.com/article/2020/dec/10/donald-trump-has-lost-dozens-election-lawsuits-her/ U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann concluded that lawyers presented "strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations un-pled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence. In the United States of America, this cannot justify the disenfranchisement of a single voter, let alone all the voters of its sixth most populated state. Our people, laws, and institutions demand more." Sometimes courts rejected cases where the pro-Trump briefs were riddled with errors. One was based on an affidavit that attempted to cite results from precincts in Michigan, but actually cited ones in Minnesota. (The statistics about Minnesota were wrong too.) One lawsuit filed by Powell claimed wrongdoing in Edison County, Mich. — a place that doesn’t exist. https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/politics/2020/12/12/trump-wisconsin-lawsuit-dismissed-federal-judge/3894689001/ "This court allowed the plaintiff the chance to make his case and he has lost on the merits. In his reply brief, plaintiff 'asks that the Rule of Law be followed.' It has been." https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-lawsuit-pennsylvania/in-fresh-blow-to-trump-u-s-court-rejects-pennsylvania-election-case-idUSKBN2872AZ “Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here,” wrote Bibas, who was nominated by Trump. https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/detroit/2020/12/04/michigan-lawsuit-makes-wild-claims-voter-turnout/3829654001/ The affidavit comes from Russell James Ramsland Jr., a cybersecurity analyst and former Republican congressional candidate. Ramsland is the one who mistook voting jurisdictions in Minnesota for Michigan towns in a separate flawed analysis of voter turnout. His latest analysis correctly names Michigan voting jurisdictions, but similarly arrives at inaccurate voter turnout rates. https://wdet.org/posts/2020/12/02/90352-aggrieved-republicans-offer-little-evidence-of-election-fraud-in-seven-hour-hearing/ Judge Timothy Kenny also said “Ms. Carone’s description of the events at the TCF Center does not square with any of the other affidavits. There are no other reports of lost data, or tabulating machines that jammed repeatedly every hour during the count. Neither Republican nor Democratic challengers nor city officials substantiate her version of events. The allegations simply are not credible,” when denying a petition for injunctive relief and an independent audit in an earlier lawsuit.
  21. That is true. And these backs get playing time. It isn't like they bring these guys in as "mentors" and as third stringers. Gore and Ivory were splitting carries out the backfield.
  22. I look forward to the Bills becoming a destination for veteran free agents taking affordable one year deals to win. But I think that (as another poster mentioned) the team needs to get younger at DE. Addision and Hughes are into their 30's and while AJ is there waiting in the wings the depth needs to be younger. I wouldn't be shocked to see one of the Bills first two picks be a DE again. Odds are I think they spend the cap space they have retaining Williams, Levi, Feliciano and Roberts and they most likely let Milano walk due to cap constraints. So I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills spending their picks in the first three rounds on defensive players. DE, LB and safety or elsewhere in the secondary to help prepare for upcoming regression and departure.
  23. I would much rather have Williams or Yeldon. Freeman is washed. No clue why they went with him. I would have much rather gone with several other options to add a back to the PS.
  24. I hope he develops into a Devante Adams type, but even just a solid WR2 like Burleson is a positive for the 4-5 year outlook of the roster.
  25. Kicking is super important and not having a reliable kicker with some range is handicapping your team big time. I would rather spend a 6th round pick on a kicker (when you don't have a reliable vet on the roster) than a backup LB who may or may not be ready to contribute right away let alone at any point. Bass was the right pick in the 6th. When you have a solid talent base you need to fine tune the edges of the roster and that's exactly what Beane did when he picked Bass.
