  1. Texans aren't very talented but they aren't a joke. When a team is playing hard for a coach you can't just lay the pads out there and win. You really need to go out and beat them. This is a fairly big game for the Bills in terms of piling up a win before going into a tough two game stretch.
  2. Just an all around great game. Back to Back good to great games from this team after a disappointing week one loss (granted a close loss to an at least decent team) and outside of a bad Special Teams play and one big play given up by the defense the team really just dominated wire to wire. The team even showed resiliency after being up 21-0 they gave up a big play on defense and a bad turnover and TD on a short field. They then proceeded to pad the lead back up to two possessions with a pair of field goals before slamming the door with a big second half.
  3. Hoping to see him get some batted balls against really quick release QB’s. I thought for a rookie he looked solid.
  4. The Steelers were just putting so much pressure on Josh and there was some instances of bad playcalling. I am writing this off as simply playing against an elite defense. No panic setting in yet. It was a fairly close game against a good team early in the season. Frustrating since they could have put them away early but instead only went up 10-0.
  5. Overall a solid half, great defense, solid special teams but mostly bad offense. The Steelers have one of the best defenses in the league and the Bills got a 10 point lead on them. The offense put together a big driven when they needed it most. Happy to take a two possession lead into the second half against a good team.
  6. They needed some space for emergencies, this gives them that space and at worst rolls over a little space for next season which won’t hurt.
  7. The panic over point differential early last season was completely over blown. The Bills point difference was deflated in some games by late scores when the Bills were up by two scores.
  8. One thing that has separated McBeane from past administrations is the attention to detail on the roster. In the past the team would just be satisfied with mediocre or average players in niche positions. Or they would pay a dramatic premium for returners and special teams specialists. The Bills have swung a nice balance of getting good value on the edges of the roster. Overpaying here and there but not too dramatically that they can't invest in key areas. Jones and the other critical ST players are really a good example of that.
  9. He is a decent QB, a low end starter or a high end backup. Glad the team moved on from him but also don’t get the hate that comes his way either. He was one of the better QB’s the team had in the drought era and he turned up with a winning record.
  10. He also had a winning record in the 3 years he played here and was a contributor in ending the longest playoff drought in the teams history…
  11. Never heard that, a bit messed up if that’s the true context of what he said but even then the guy was the most productive QB to come to the team in nearly 20 years. I just don’t understand the hate he gets.
  12. No idea why Tyrod gets so much hate around here. Just because he wasn’t a game changing franchise QB doesn’t mean he deserves scorn for ending a massive playoff drought.
  13. Jones is one of the most influential owners so him being against any move is a positive. Regardless of motive it is a positive.
  14. I look forward to Phillips coming back in 2022 on a small deal and being a productive player again. The issue was that the players they spent that money on (Addison, Butler and Jefferson) weren’t that impactful in 2020. But it was absolutely the right call to move on from both.
  15. The Bills simply liked whatelse they had on the roster better. Not that complicated, good for Hollister to catch on.
  16. Superstitions are really not worth it and don't work in my opinion. I have literally tried every which way to develop lucky hats and t-shirts along with places and ways to watch and everything is just seemingly random. The only thing I need for the game is a good place to watch it and for my wife not to bother me.
  17. The Bills have all 7 components needed to win a Super Bowl. Management, Coaching, QB, Non-QB offensive talent, defense, special teams and depth. They got the monkey off their back last season winning not one but two playoff games and playing in three playoff games against good competition. It's all there for another deep run barring catastrophic injury, just have to hope things go right.
  18. Dude is 23 and how much eligibility does he have left?
  19. I think they can redo Poyer's deal to free up 2ish million in space, should be the emergency money needed to manage the rest of the season.
  20. If he isn’t good enough to make the Lions I doubt he is good enough to make this roster.
  21. I think it was just as simple as his contract demands were too high and they went with an effective but cheaper alternative.
  22. No big shockers in the final cuts outside of Hollister. A good deep team ready to make a deep run in the playoffs.
  23. What good is experience if you aren’t performing well? But I do agree Addison is likely to stay. I think it is clear that they like the versatility and depth he provides. I see him doing a lot of the stuff Lorax used to do now that hopefully they need him less off the edge.
  24. The best value is to get a player that stuffs the run and is a positive pass rusher. Their metric in saying that having a big time run stuffer will make your defense worse is just flawed. Run stuffers help a defense but one dimensional run stuffers are more of a niche in the modern NFL.
