Giants prepared to release CB Bradberry (now released)
billsfan89 replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would be a nice final piece to add to the secondary as even with Elam added there is a lack of depth at the position esp if Tre isn’t ready to go at the start of the season. Add him and another vet Oline piece would be the last fine tuning of the roster. -
7 prime time games plus a Thanksgiving game, how the turntables, if true.

Poll: How would you grade the Bills overall draft?
billsfan89 replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
Feeling the same way, although I didn't hate the third round pick I thought it would have been better to spend that pick on the O-line which is still pretty thin. -
I would like to see them try and bring in another vet O-line body. Probably my only true concern on the roster is O-line depth. I also wouldn't mind seeing AJ Klein back I know they just drafted a LB high up but one more LB is solid.

Rd 5, Pick 148 (5): WR Khalil Shakir, Boise St

Love it, reminds me of Robert Woods. Great depth short and long term -
I think Billy B's has taken a lot of players off the scrap heap and gotten good production out of them on both sides of the ball. I think he has also gotten some draft hits here and there all throughout the draft. But no GM is perfect and as a GM I would say he is pretty average at best maybe better on the pro side esp in the bargain bin.

McD turned an undrafted free agent in Levi Wallace into a capable starting corner, T.Johnson into a stud slot corner, early returns on Dane are solid and T.White turned out to be an All-Pro. I trust they know how to find corners that fit their system.

Truly in a position to take the best player available and just add to the depth and talent level of the team. Wouldn't be surprised to see a WR or OL/DL player taken.

New regime with the NYG has no attachment to Jones so it isn't surprising they are going to take a one year look at him and then dump him. I look forward to him backing up Josh in 2023.

The Bills either trade back (which is unlikely) or they more than likely "let the draft come to them" and just sit back and see who is the best player or players available at pick 25.

Bills Sign former Titan OT/OG David Quessenberry

Must be a complete mauler in the ground game or it is an outlier in Pff -
That would never happen, part of why NFL franchises are worth so much is guaranteed access to billions in TV revenue.

Veteran camp body, really would like to see the Bills try and bring back Daryl Williams for depth along the Oline.

Fan Duel ranks the top 10 pro athletes in NY
billsfan89 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Durant is an MVP caliber player and arguably the best player in the game, Josh fits that bill too. Given that KD has been at that level longer he gets the nod as a tie breaker. Still great to see two Buffalo Bills on such a list even if the NY football teams and Sabers are terrible. -
Am I the only one who hasn't completely given up on Zack Moss?
billsfan89 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I haven't given up on Moss either. I think he can be a fine RB2 that brings in some power to a position that lacks power beyond his own abilities. But I don't think he will ever be anything more than a role player. He can be productive just not sure if he is more than a solid RB2 at best. -
Name 2 players drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2022
billsfan89 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Zach Tom Noah Elliss Both players scream mid round “strengthen the trenches” type players. Both also slide into places where they can make the roster and fill longer term needs. Ellis’s slides in as the 5th DT and an immigrate backup for Jones and a longer term replacement for the veteran Jones. Tom is an athletic Oline player who can play guard or tackle and probably would slide in as depth on a suddenly thin Oline unit. -

The man is insufferable but he likes the Bills recently so it’s the only positive I can say -

Diggs Extended 4 more years breaking news per WGR 550
billsfan89 replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great to see Diggs staying in the fold long term. A little more cap space short term is also a nice added bonus. -
McD had a chance to resign Gilmore in 2017 off-season and opted not to mainly because he wasn't a fit for the zone scheme. 5 years later I doubt that assessment has changed. Given how the Bills operate mostly off the radar I don't believe any rumors until after the fact (when things leak easier). If something is leaking from the Bills it 90% of the time is empty noise.

As far as "starting" needs the only need on the roster I see is CB and punter. As far as depth needs I would rank Interior O-line, linebacker, DT (need another run stuffer behind Jones and as a longer term replacement for Jones), Safety and WR. Ideally in the draft I would like to see a CB drafted at pick 25 to plug that hole as best as possible and then see IOL/WR be taken with the next two picks then add a linebacker and a NT in rounds 4-5. That should solidify the roster all around with the late rounds just being a punter and the best prospects available. Overall with a decent draft the Bills should be able to plug that hole at CB and get the depth they might be missing. It is one of if not the best roster top to bottom in the NFL right now. They just need to find a CB and "top off" the depth at a few key positions.

This would be out of character for this front office, mainly because since 2019 the front office has mainly just “let the draft come to them” there have been some trade ups but nothing major. I just don’t buy rumors coming out of this tight lipped front office. I suspect they just stay at pick 25 and see who the best corner is and take them if the value is solid.
