  1. Past hour
  2. I agree with you. I was only responding to the guy who stated we didn’t trade up in the first round for one of the top 3 WR and he’s ok with it because we ended up with Carter and Bishop instead. I know it would’ve taken more than what we had to get up that high. If we are still playing this hypothetical though I would’ve been all about trading 28, 60 and one of next years 2nds for Odunze
  3. I love Odunze as much as anyone, but how do you know Coleman won't be a top 10 WR himself? Most importantly, you do not NEED a top 10 WR, its be proven over and over and over that a top 10 WR is NOT a mandated player to be a SB champion. Why are you and so many people wasting breath on this concept we should have traded with the Bears. You realize the Bears had to have wanted to trade with the Bills, and they clearly didn't considering everyone and their mom knew the Bills both needed and wanted to take a WR early and the Bears didn't call Beane even once. In fact, no team in the top 10 picks called the Bills, who again, everyone knew needed and wanted a WR, to trade back to 28. This isn't madden where you just meet a threshold of min trade commitment and the trade is accepted. Some of you need to get over it and just move on. Trading up for Odunze, Nabers, or MHJ was never at any moment on the table for us as nobody had any interest to trading back to 28 that was in range to get any of those guys.
  4. Look at how they treated this woman. They want her in the kitchen
  5. Have to wait. Because if not enough people pay the premium pricing we’re getting tin troughs instead
  6. I saw this interview in another thread, and immediately when Beane said Shakir...thought of you 👏 Beane definitely has faith not only in Shakir, but the other options he has. And maybe Joe Brady the most. I thought Brady did a great job in Carolina during 2020, and basically had squat to work with at OL and QB. His scheme seemed more like a hybrid Saints scheme (Payton), and won't be surprised to see a lot more RB screens/even more Cook or Davis receptions. Shakir definitely has a big opportunity ahead of him this year and hope he takes advantage. Look forward to seeing how Brady uses him and Samuel the most.
  7. Not if the guys throwing the to the people who showed up look terrible.
  8. ⬆️ Also hates America and Gold Star families.
  9. And you both know Susan Collins! How fun!
  10. Brady and the offense need to rely on Allen to do Allen things less than 5 times a game. The vast majority of the game needs to be schemed up. Too often over the last few years with Dabol and Dorsey it was close to have.
  11. My main take away from the interview is thank god Chop Robinson didn't fall to us or he pry would've been the pick at 28.
  12. There's a sliding scale for the cost of Draft Day Trades depending on the talent pool available. The 2022 Draft was not a great Draft. So prices were cheaper. There's also a far cry difference between trading 32, 34, and 66 for 12 and 46 and trading 33, 60, and 95 for 9 - even if that wasn't a great trade to begin with. Which is what the trade would have to be because your idea of giving 28 and giving up Bishop and Carter isn't possible. We were only able to get Carter because we traded down from 28. With 28, the best we could have offered to go along with it was 60 and a 4th. The Bears weren't giving up Odunze, even in this "what if" scenario. They ran that card up to the podium like their shoes were on fire.
  13. Met and listened to Tim Kaine tonight. Gentlemanly and composed as ever (except his VP debate - wtf?) Very pragmatic and positive message. Rebranded a vile saying into "Stand tall, stand together" Mildly crass but a decent riff. Left feeling positive - realistic or not.
  14. Aside from forgoing Coleman, Bishop and Carter, don’t forget we likely would have needed to give up some of next year’s draft capital, like a 1st and a 2nd. Even if Odunze ends up a top 10 WR, giving up that much high draft capital is a risky prospect for one guy. And then how do you feel if that one guy tears his ACL in training camp?
  15. This was a great overall interview, and I have been pounding the pavement all year for people to just start listening to Beane more. If they had, there would have been no confusion on what they were doing. He is building a more diverse WR room, guys who are tougher, guys who have YAC, guys who can CATCH, guys who get open, guys with size, etc. There are posters on this board who want to argue that Beane hasn't addressed the "receivers" enough while literally overlooking he has invested our first pick (and more) on a receiving weapon for Josh in literally 3 of the last 5 drafts. Some of those people DONT want to include Kincaid because his designation isn't a "wide reciever", which is hilariously dumb given he was ONLY drafted to be a receiving weapon. And I love that BOTH Long and Beane mock those people a bit in this interview as well at 10:50 into the interview. Beane says and chuckles, "People are sometimes just focused on the receiver room, which I like what we have got in there, don't forget the TE's...its legal for them to catch the ball." Long chuckles and immediately says yes to this and comments on it with Beane following up with that "team in Kansas City has done pretty good throwing the ball to that guy (Kelce)" Also didn't hesitate to list Shakir as the most underrated player on offense (especially by soooo many on this board) and Long said he loves Shakir.
  16. I think they had a good feeling they could move down and get him.
  17. Clear as fkn mud but that’s where you pigs play so enjoy your psyop Bonnie
  18. I've never really understood the contract strategy of "holding out" during voluntary workouts? It seems counterproductive for both sides of the negotiation. It's not like they don't know who Tua is, or what his capabilities are. And I have to believe that there's value in the franchise QB attending these things, if for no other reason than to meet the rookies, and establish his leadership. But, it feels like for a player to hold out diminishes their value, if even slightly. Wouldn't showing up to voluntary team activities send a better message than holding out? Just my 2¢, but what do I know?
  19. At least they were smoking it together, good team bonding in off-season.
