  1. Past hour
  2. They aren’t going up. As a buyer, wait until the last possible moment. If you want to sell, get them out EARLY. It’s 100% foil proof.
  3. Maybe, but I think it's at least as likely that at this point, this is just who he is. He can improve his technique understanding of his responsibilities in this offense, but he does not have the huge advantage in athleticism that Eric Moulds had. That's easier to overcome at some positions than others, but WR isn't one of them.
  4. I mean, Ed’s played 2.5 games and Hoecht played 1.5, and they were only on the field together in the Carolina game, so they’ve basically generated their pressure on the season without them anyway… You have to wonder if, aside from Hairston, would McDermott have shuffled up his secondary without the injuries to Rapp and Johnson, and does he stick with what worked last week when Johnson is healthy.
  5. I saw a bit of that, and I actually enjoyed it. I used to take our boys to Chapel Hill for hoops camp each summer and became attached to the school and the town. I was surprised to enjoy it, but then I had no expectation of knowing the players from either team. Sadly, I don’t think I could name a single player from my team (Xavier). I don’t begrudge the players getting paid or having mobility, but the resulting product is not something I really care for. Gone are the days of being proud that you graduated all your players whose eligibility expired. Now you just want to know who’s on the team, and I’m mildly curious if the SG makes more than the PF. It’s like a new pickup game at the YMCA with the best players going to the highest bidders. It doesn’t bother me in college football, so maybe college basketball in general will still appeal to me. I did enjoy the UNC game. But I will no longer send my school any money if that’s how it’s being used. If we all think alike and that means the program dies, oh well….. 🤷‍♂️
  6. Another trip to NC for the Sabres that I get to see them get totally out classed again. Will they score at least one goal?
  7. It has often occurred to me that Coleman's only way to success in the NFL would be to bulk up and convert to a TE. I don't think he has the fortitude to try and make this change. So, he will be out of the league in three years.
  8. I was just reviewing the Bills-Fins head to head record this morning. Beyond the 4-23-1 record we went through the entire 70's with zero wins, 0-20. Thanks to Jim Kelly and Josh Allen we are close to tipping that scale, something we could never imagine happening way back when. Go Bills
  9. If you’re wrong, it’s a permaban for you!
  10. Or Anquan Boldin. Although both he and Ward were considerably shorter, both were a lot less physical than Coleman. As others have said, he's big but plays small. Doesn't box out or sky for the jump ball consistently, hands not great, slow. Sure doesn't bring much for someone who gets more snaps than any other skill player. Can he develop? It's looking more dubious as time goes on. I think the best hope is the problems are in his head. Compare his FSU tape to his NFL tape; it's like two different players. (I've only seen his college highlights, though.) For example, on several comeback routes on the sideline, Allen throws a perfect ball with perfect timing to his outside shoulder, where only he can get the ball. Diggs thrived on those. Impossible to defend, even with such a slow receiver. Yet Coleman allowed the DB to make a play. That seems fixable. I mean, the guy is big. Allen could also throw way over his head sometimes, which I haven't seen. Coleman seems to love those climb the ladder balls. So maybe there's hope.
  11. I'm watching Chris Simms argue that the majority of the pressures and hits and sacks were a result of the coverage. Bishop, Hairston, Hancock, and Walker are playing well. Will Jackson and Sanders follow suit? Max Hairston received s grade of 90.1 from PFF. That's very encouraging. (Rousseau and Kincaid also had 90+ grades) Bishop had 4 PBU's. I expect this trend to continue.
  12. LOL, that would be me. The “trap game” talk always cracks me up. It’s relevant in high school and college sports…not so much the pros. It’s just one of my pet peeves in broadcasting and the way people talk about games. Fans get caught up in overlooking opponents or betting with their hearts. Professional players don’t. NFL players and coaches understand that the margin between winning, losing, or getting your asses blown out is razor thin. If they don’t give it their all they are toast.
  13. He can make a leap forward, probably not to Moulds level, but he is not being utilized properly right now so if he continues being used the way he is, probably not.
  14. Torrence and Edward’s.
  15. Pegula just wants to get his kicks being president of the sabres. He bought them because he was a bored rich guy. Not a fan He will not cede control until he is dead. He is too stubborn and selfish. He stopped engaging the fans many years ago and won't even be seen there. Doesn't care as long as he gets to play with his toy. His family will sell the sabres when he dies. They will be worth $1 billion right now to an out of town interest. No binding lease, no building.
  16. Yep. This one is my 5th in a row and they’re always a ton of fun. This year in particular, I believe it will truly be a takeover. Ate at one of the Havana 1957 locations on Ocean last night. A bit commercial but great food, mojitos, and live entertainment. Taking a bike tour today with food and drink stops along the way. Dinner tonight at Zaytinya. South Beach is fun.
  17. Well, duh. Coleman is our #1, with Josh Allen at QB. Moulds was our #4, with Todd Collins at QB. Im guessing you weren’t watching football in the 90’s if you think Moulds was worse than Coleman at this point.
  18. I don’t understand this. I get a bill from NYSEG, but I get an offer from Agway Energy offering to be my “service provider”. Is this a good thing to do? Confused. Please explain as if I’m a five year old.
  19. Wow the TDS is impressive. to have typed this all up but in the middle admit that Dems could end it immediately when you say "the Left should totally give in and sign a bad deal". Desm don't care about people, if they did they would sign a CR for 3 months and then get renegotiating, but we know their political power is all that matters.
  20. I think Edwards stays. He’s a Kromer guy. His career took a nosedive without Kromer. He also has a history of injuries and Buffalo is clearly doing something right in that regard. Obviously, can’t keep them all, but he feels like the more likely guy to stay. McGovern is interesting. He obviously wanted to play center and has got that wish here. He’s also versatile and just turned 28. He feels like he is in line for a major pay day whereas Edwards has some red flags that make staying here more likely.
  21. No problem, man. Yeah, I try never to rely on A.I. I see them making so many mistakes, with bland confidence. Have a good day.
  22. Damn you beat me to it! These two spread more seed than True green.
  23. Bring sunscreen and a rain pancho, drink plenty of water and beer.
  24. You. In all seriousness, tomorrow morning you’ll get those tickets for under $100.
