I'm more concerned that a subset of the TQ (not so much LGB) community, previously on board with the don't be intolerant and only judge us by our sexuality mantra, that now seems to be increasingly obsessed with militancy, violence and crime in general. Is it worth asking questions as to what has happened over the past 15 years or so or to just shrug it off?

WHEN we were all starving for ANY semblance of order, quality, professionalism, intelligence, capability, etc.during the entire, endless lost years of this Millenium, I was with you. But NOW, the Bills are not, no almost never, inflicted with that stumbling, bumbling, fumbling idiocy! And they are led by a freak player- should be not be injured, will likely get to the point of being in the GOAT conversation of not just QBs… but players in NFL history! Given the prior substandard playoff performances by the D, it is normally ALL about him! Therefore, I do not want, for the sake of 2 who cares yards, taking a game/season or career ending stupid hit! Play smart 17! The Lombardi is just over the curve of the road. It is no time for a FUBAR! -
Annoying to be down Oliver & Milano, but the Dolphins just put 2/5ths of their OL on IR, so I’m not going to complain too much. Re: Milano, it just makes me worried long term. This Defense has a ton of potential, but alot of relies on certain guys… Rapp, Milano, Taron, Bernard, Benford, Bosa staying healthy. Two games in and we’re already having to deal with missed games from Taron Johnson and Matt Milano. That being said.. very quickly it seems clear that the key to this defense is making sure Bosa and Benford are healthy in the Playoffs. We’ve never had a Bosa type power player at this level for the playoffs and Benford hasn’t be available in our Chiefs losses.

Cook to me is Kamara light. Not as physical a build as Kamara but a tougher runner than you'd expect. He has the gliding acceleration that I think is hard for defenders to key on, has the lateral escapability, has the receiving skills (when there's no lapses in concentration). I'm not a fan of paying big money for RBs, but I have no problem with the Bills paying what they're paying for Cook's skill set.

On Cook's run he has a clean cutback lane to to the right and the blocker come in the clean up the defender. On Davis's run, the defender is unblocked and there is no cutback lane because the right side of the line has collapsed. Cook made an incredible move on the second level that isn't in Davis' arsenal, but the difference between getting stopped at the line there is more of a story of offensive line play than anything. Torrence failed to get to the second level to take on the blocker on Davis' run, so he's virtually out of the play. On Cook's run, he makes it to the second level to wall off the defender. That's the difference.

Josh isn’t going to play his game in bubble wrap. He’s from a family of farmers, and those are tough people. They just get things done. They don’t make excuses. I love that about him. It took McD years just to get him to slide sometimes. Josh isn’t stubborn, just a sincere desire to win. Last time I checked, he has mom than double the consecutive starts as the next QB down the level. I know that’s a concern as you get to feel invincible, but he’s delivered so far. -
I thinks it's somewhere around 80/20 or 70/30 the player, then the coaching. Tom Brady was on a podcast recently and talked about this. Mostly because they were talking about Caleb but he was talking about coaching and how much it helped him. He was saying to think of it like this, we rank players on teams but do we ranking OCs or DCs on teams? Or QB coaches? Do we think the 32nd best QB coach is as good as the first? No, probably not. So, I think he believes it has some affect on your development. He then gave a good example of his career. During his rookie year, the Pats QB coach passed away, so Billy B took the job over in the interim. He said he would come into the QB room, show them next weeks opponent. Tell them about what they do in Cover 3 or how they play man or this is what they do in this situation, etc. So Brady was getting a lot of deep insight into the defensive side of the ball. He said it helped his growth, a lot. Now, saying all that Brady still had the desire to get better. To prove people/teams/scouts wrong. He was open to learning and engaging with the coaches. He had the desire to get better and sought it out. If a player doesn't pay attention or doesn't practice or doesn't want or feel the need to learn more. No amount of coaching is going to make them any better.

They will most likely wear blue over white for the NO game especially since they are wearing the white rivalry jerseys for NE. Blue over white is the primary home look so it should be worn the most at home.

I think this is a big game for the TE’s

It's easy to imagine Kincaid beating his 2025 high of 48 yards (vs. Ravens). And it's easy to imagine Knox having fewer drops than he did against the Jets! So far this year, the Bills are targeting their WRs 59% of the time. That stat surprised me because I had thought we were targeting WRs more this year. We're not - it's almost exactly the same as 2024. TEs are being targeted this season about 27% of the time and RBs about 14%. I'm guessing the numbers against the Fins will skew a little heavier toward TEs and RBs. Low-risk stuff with a chance for high reward considering the Fin LBs have been struggling with coverage and as a team they miss some tackles. The run/pass mix will be normal Brady stuff so I don't know if the TEs will have "big" days since we'll run roughly half the time. I guess it depends on how you define "big." Shannon Sharpe's single-game record of 214 is probably safe. -

Yes, you were the only one that even gave it a thought. -
They haven't since 2019 when they acquired Brown/Beasley made many moves at WR via free agency. 2020 they acquired Diggs via trade a home run in my opinion. In 2021 they signed Emmanuel Sanders for a rental and that was solid. 2022 they added Jamison Crowder and he got hurt. 2023 they signed Trent Sherfield a special teams signing and a cheap one at that. In 2024 they whiffed on Samuel but found a decent low end find in Mack Hollins. In 2025 the early returns on Palmer have been solid. Given that none of these deals were for any significant amount of money and more than 1 year deals other than Samuel and Palmer I don't think that's a bad track record. Not great but not bad at all given the circumstances.

I know you lot over the pond speak a different English to us on this side but does this make any sense to anyone (it is McDaniel's response to a question about the Bills' historical dominance over the Dolphins in recent years): "I think it's a disservice to all the people on both teams every year when people put history on top of what it [is]," he said. "It's two teams playing each other, and I think generally if you have success in one place against an opponent, over time you do have a confidence whether it's real or not real, it doesn't matter -- you do. And then, consequently, people can have a chip on their shoulder on the losing end of it. "The bottom line is, is all of it is semantics. It's two football teams playing -- one on the road, one at home -- but the individuals are always different and the more you can recognize that and take each game unto itself and alone, by itself, you're shortchanging the process and you'll ultimately fall victim to it. I think over time you have to take each game, each opponent, each opportunity in the National Football League, solely focus on it and everything else makes you worse in focus, preparation and execution." He just seems to contradict himself in every sentence (in addition to talking bollox) Give me our McD over theirs, anyday -
He went to Yale you know.

He was inactive after that Broncos game (got pulled during it looks like). And yeah that was a rough move to pull him back in the middle of the game. -
