  3. How many active coaches do you think HAVE won a national championship as a head coach? Answer: There are four active college football head coaches who have won a national championship: Kirby Smart, Dabo Swinney, Ryan Day, and Mack Brown. Smart and Swinney have each won two championships, while Brown and Day have won one. Kirby Smart Dabo Swinney Mack Brown Ryan Day Am I missing someone? Is Sarkisian also not a good coach because he too has never won a title? I consider Sark to be the best offensive mind perhaps in all of football. Lane is a very good recruiter and a great offensive strategist. He seemed to have learned quite a bit about coaching from Nick Saban, however he does admittedly come with a certain amount of baggage. I do however feel sorry for Ole Miss, who I think has a chance to actually win a title (although less of a chance due to his departure). And btw their qb (Chambliss) looks pretty damn good (as does yours). Lane got him from Ferris State and turned him into a possible first round pick. Also, Jaxon Dart is getting rave reviews from Giant Fans. Does Lane get some credit? The Ole Miss program might take 10 years or so to recover and I readily admit this, but Lane is the one who revived them and built a very good team.
  4. Is there anything that actually states Slay wants to play in Philly? Maybe he just wants to be done. Could be why he was not on the Pittsburgh active roster last week as well as why they put him on waivers.
  5. public perception doesn't win games.
  6. Epenesa didn’t practice yesterday. Foot issue.
  7. this should put an end to any of that insane "Dak should be in the MVP Conversation" nonsense heard since Thanksgiving.
  8. Sorry. Misread your original post. I think he will be a special teamer for them the rest of the season. And when they do get healthy, probably a healthy scratch. He may not end up back in buffalo
  9. correct - when you sign him from waivers it is to the active roster. Do you expect him to play CB there? or will he be an inactive player/ special teams guy for several weeks until their starter gets 100% healthy. I still see them cutting him once they are healthy and/or as a FA in the off season and he is back in Buffalo down the road.
  10. Let’s take it even one step further. Why was Slay on Pittsburgh to begin with. He chose to sign a free agent contract there and leave Philly. He chose to sign a minimal contract that allowed this to happen when he was cut. Beane did everything correctly and even if he does not report - it is no loss - it blocks Philly a SB contender from getting a guy to make them better and we lost a guy that has been inactive the last several weeks and had no role outside special teams. He can be replaced and most likely ends up back here later this season or in the off season.
  11. I think people are just piling on Beane for this. I like that he went and tried to improve an area of the roster that in previous years had failed us in the playoffs. You don’t like the result and therefore dump it all on Beane. If it came January and we get torched because a guy like Benford went down, you know people wold have been clamoring for “how did we not sign slay - look at how amazing Howie Roseman is” He swung and missed, attempting to improve, which resulting in losing an end of roster depth player. There are plenty of reasons to question and rag on Beane, but this is just low handing fruit IMO.
  12. Oops Finding. Go back to grading those essays. Another issue I raised in interviews today. The arrest of this individual in spring 2021 would have given J6 defendants exculpatory evidence in terms of the redirection of law enforcement to RNC, DNC that afternoon as @ChiefSund has said. The ramifications of an arrest in this case at the time would’ve been massive. Not to mention the dismantling of the Trump led “insurrection” narrative forming at the time by Chris Wray.
  13. Ingram is on the Texans active roster
  14. This makes sense and I highly doubt it happens, more like db's playing 10 yards off the line and no pass rush while allowing Burrows to cave them up.
  15. This is chapter one of a twenty chapter book. - Dan Bongino, yesterday. 😂 So anyway Finding why do you suppose that with no new evidence it took the Patel FBI eight months to solve this case?
  16. The question would be why? My guess is the Texans are going to have one of their core special teams guys becoming a potential starter to cover injury and are looking for more special teams where Ingram outduels Slay. They are not looking to use Ingram as a DB. Beane was looking for another CB on the field to help in case of injury with Tre, Benford, and Hairston all having minor injuries. Ingram has not even been active the last few weeks so it is not like we parted with a guy that is integral. My guess is in the next couple of weeks once his 3 weeks are up - Ingram gets released by Houston and ends up back in Buffalo on the practice squad or as a camp invite for next year.
  17. It doesn’t help when our offense has disappeared and been wildly inconsistent this whole season outside the KC game. If our offense plays like they did against KC and we control the game script, I think we win. But if we are in a tit for tat battle or fall behind I think we are toast.
  18. I could be wrong. But is Coach Tomlin really a HOF coach? Winning one SB and going to another. Outside of that, his teams have been mediocre for years. I feel like his recent years of simply have a winning record haven’t really been that impressive. They are just a middling team. Is that what the HOF really rewards?
  19. He’s like a better athletic version of Kirk Cousins. Recent sam darnold is also a good comp. Plays well until he’s matched up against an elite QB on the other team.
  20. As often is the case, I agree with you. I’m not intimidated by the Eagles especially as bad as their offense has played this year, and yes, I can see us resting the banged up players for the Jet’s. It’s funny as always they are so much of a dumpster fire, we still might beat them up with backups, and the usual Allen playing a series to keep his streak going strong. Don’t forget it’s not their fault, but the Pats schedule was weak, and their best game was against us. The Bucs almost beat them. Cincy makes me nervous as yes, their defense is atrocious, but when Burrow, Chase, and Higgins are all on the field, they are dangerous. No one wants to hear this, but we will probably play a ball control game and ram it down their throat. Their run defense is 31st in the league, and pass defense is even worse at 32 out of 32. I say we go left, then right, then left again with Cook, and when they start loading the box we toss it to Cook and Ty all day long. They play that up, and Davis or Palmer or Cooks if healthy goes 30 yards down the field for a TD. Get up 2-3 scores and then back to running it down their throat. The best defense for their passing game is TOP at 38 minutes.

  23. I just paid for my seats and they were less than the price shown. There is a discount automatically applied at checkout for season ticket holders. My pair of bench style seats came to $519 with the pickup fee included. $561 after tax. Considering the work and material that is going into them, I believe they are priced fairly. And will get use in my Bills camper.
