Do you really think the Bills are gonna come through on their end of the deal?! We can only hope.
-
You keep hearing the announcers saying”Tyrod takes the safe pass for negative two yards “ too. Just thought was me!

Can you even imagine the meltdown if Obama...

Classic liberal perspective—vote for the guy (and his successor) who seemed hell-bent on embracing illegal immigration and disregarding the notion of sovereign borders, but you run to town hall demanding to see the building permit paperwork when a guy wants to throw a little rumpus room off the side of the house. Odd priorities imo. -
Cant they both me wrong? WTF kind of argument is that? Are you 12?

Max Hairston to return to practice from IR
Paup 1995MVP replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The guy is a first round pick with blazing speed. Something most of us have not seen on the field at CB for the Bills since Leodis McKelvin or maybe even Nate Clements. The fact that we are starting Tre White at CB, let alone that he was ever brought back on the roster is a scathing indictment of the organization. Do you watch the other NFL teams? No team has aging veterans (who can't run a lick) starting on their back end. If anything, when they have a bunch of injuries, most teams play a lot of young guys like the Lions and the 49ers did over the past two nights. And both teams did quite well because the players all understand the scheme, which I would assume they keep simple to allow the players' athleticism to take over, and our coached up during the week, and throughout the season. If Hairston is physically ready to play, and his head is in the game, he needs to be on the field. -
Going to be another week where almost no one gets eliminated , me thinks. A lot of very strong options this week. Going Falcons and Colts. Originally was going Bengals instead of Falcons, but it looks like the Jets are benching Fields. Save the Chiefs.

Joe Marino's 9 point plan for improvement
Puckman5 replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall
No old lady I know would consider taking help from either of them after seeing this defense. You need a sound strategy to cross a road safely. -
Agreed. But if teams have absolutely zero fear of it from a multiple standpoint of both Josh not being great at it and no one getting open - things remain the same. They'll continue to crowd the line of scrimmage, key in on Cook, send Safeties, and make life incredibly difficult in the short to intermediate areas. Josh has to work on it. He may never be great at it. But if we can get someone with deep speed and separation, they have to at least respect it. Even if he only hits it once in a while.

So since I bought your book you’re “not paying as much attention”? All I can think of is JaMarus Russell.
-
he's immature, he cant even get to practice on time.. he's to slow the break out, he might improve but he never going to be a #1 we would be lucky if he turns into a #3 WR. .

The speed comments are spot on. It’s not just speed getting open or speed to the ball. But when I watch other games I see guys catch the ball and they are gone. I al not sure if it’s physical or scheme though. The Bills seem to always be running in crowds, behind blockers etc. I rarely see guys in one on one match ups wre they beat a guy with speed. It’s like they don’t have space to get up to full speed.
-
When I suggest we move him to the slot it is not because I think he will flourish but it's because I think it's the only chance he has to contribute on the field. I really hope this guy breaks out someday

"Mike Vrabel brought a powerful, aggressive attitude to the Patriots, and the Bills couldn’t handle it." This is the sad truth-Thank you for expressing it so well.

the best predictor of future behavior is relevant past behavior If that adage is true your bet will be Golden 😞

If you are looking for speed hop on the Choo choo. Every WR known to man can be find there Nice post Shaw

Yea the Jets. It’s like high school teams scheduling the weakest team in the conference for homecoming.

Just ordered your book. I’m 89 and went to my first game at age 12. Bills vs.Browns and of course we lost. Been a rabid fan all these years and my family keeps urging me to write a book like yours. I didn’t have many notes or a good memory (now)so I am so anxious to read your book. Judging from your contributions to two bills drive I’m sure it will be memorable! Thanks so much for doing it.

I’ll add a layer too. You overvalue the guys that you selected. “Draft and re-sign our own” is great in theory. When you start overpaying for guys like Rousseau and Bernard it puts you in a tough spot.

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
3rdand12 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course not ! Just wanted to check you before i agreed , to a degree. his 1st few years ( and my mind is of a lesser being for detail ) I thought Allen was All Day with the go routes. Just needed a John Brown to shift a gear and go get it. and he did ! Do you recall those days ? stuck in my mind that his threat was not his touch balls from the pocket , it was his fast balls , and the near horizontal long balls lol outside the hash marks ! -
Game week thread - Bills at Panthers

Frazier had "prime time" White, Poyer, Hyde and Taron Johnson. I know we all hate Babich, but maybe he wouldn't be so bad with those guys playing on the backside. -
