  1. Past hour
  2. firstly, Kenessaw was not directly compared to Chicago, therefore you can't make the conclusion that the murder rate in one is different than the other. Secondly you can't conclude that the claimed difference is due to gun laws. The demographics in the two areas are vastly different. There are many other variables to be considered as well.
  3. I think his play over the years has earned his spot on the roster and in the rotation. But he isnt a rookie anymore. His work over the summer and in practice has put him on the field. This season he hasn’t taken advantage of it. He is at the produce stage. By looking like the weak spot of the group on the field he is firmly in consideration to be waived when the suspension is up. Through 4 games Solomon hasnt played very good. I would give Jackson those snaps.
  4. So, I am torn here... maybe our definition of bust is different... like when I say bust it is definitive... they are a bust, lost cause, get em out... but in the end I am with you... highly touted 3rd rd pick not even being able to dress for a game with the below average performance of our defense and even worse pass rush (although yesterdays seemed a bit better) is really disappointing... I had hoped for more.
  5. I don' think Samuel needs to be a better returner than Codrington to stay on the roster or even take over return duties. He just needs to be on the low end of comparable. Because ultimately if we have a rash of injuries Samuel is a better option at receiver than Codrington is at DB. I say that as a guy who isn't stoked about Curtis Samuel's career as a Bill.
  6. 120 million in 2024 113 million in 2025
  7. There was that one and one going the other way that Williams missed where the Bills absolutely whiffed on Rattler scrambles.
  8. Depending on who they had for a match it would be a very good addition. Throw Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan in a match and it would draw historic numbers IMO.
  9. week 1 was week 1... This Defense is way better with Oliver and Milano playing.
  10. Agreed. The vaunted ravens defense is not as good in practice as it is on paper. This is a defense that started last year as terrible against the pass and was wildly inconsistent most of the year. Worthy helped. A lot. But the Ravens didn't have a strategic answer.
  11. Fully expect this to be full of posts about how tough the Pats are and how scared people are of them. Vrabel is a Meathead, McDaniels is a POS cheater, the owner is a POS human. F the freaking Pats to hell - CRUSH the MFers
  12. Yea I thought he was being sarcastic at first. But I think this is real
  13. Not just what you said, but Hoecht and Ogunjobi are not starters. So really you have three potential starters (I assume Hairston starts) that are missing, so it's really about just over a quarter of the starting defense as opposed to that posters claim of nearly half
  14. I thought Josh got impatient halfway through the game and killed two drives tbh not trying to blame him for anything at all as even the very best qbs aren’t perfect but that was another game where the easy stuff was working well and we abandoned it for a brief time for pretty much no reason felt like we were using the saints to practice some things thinking the game was in hand tbh lol
  15. Well, the practice window needs to open today for max then.
  16. IMO, the Bills are the closest to that
  17. My biggest takeaways. The run game is still awesome. Mcdermott's philosophy of allowing teams to have the numbers up front in the running game and challenging opposing offenses to stay with it and prove they can score Touchdowns via the run game is frustrating as hell to watch but has worked again so far this year. I expect with Milano, Oliver and Hoecht back soon they will play the run a little better. My final opinion so far is that as I thought all offseason the defensive free agents they have signed have not really accounted for much. The drafted players have been underwhelming though hawes and walker look like players that will help them win games all year. The rest of the class is hurt/inactive or not playing. Strong has filled in admirably but I don't think the plan is to have him out there late in the year. Fingers crossed hoecht actually can help the defense.
  18. I think he'll be good and believe it's about getting more comfortable. On a hard knocks episode, I believe there was some Olinemen talking about a guy being nervous and that's who I thought they were talking about. Anywho, I would like to see some more unconventional looks along the line, such as maybe a 5-2-4. Back when we had Lorax line up between tackle and guard, he blew up every play. JMO. I believe playing an extra lineman will be the new deal and obviously we won't be the 1st to do it.
  19. Ultimately it falls on McDermott, sure. But the 3rd down issues are very specific to this coordinator. Leslie consistently had top 10 3rd down defenses, McDermott had a middle of the pack 3rd down defense. The Bills were 4th worst in the league last year and are 8th worst through four games despite giving up none in 11 vs the Jets. That is a Babich issue and the tape tells a tale, his design on 3rd down is utter trash.
  20. What’s so ironic and painful about the chiefs is that we have basically handed them some of their best players. 1) trade to get mahomes 2) trade to get worthy 3) drafted boogie instead or creed Humphrey (in a year, where we all were clamoring for Humphrey) 4) they picked McDuffie and we picked Elam in a year where we both went CB (though, to be fair, chiefs picked ahead of us).
  21. ... When did you become so pessimistic about the Bills? Some WILDLY negative takes coming from you today, and I don't have you on the usual suspects list.
  22. you posted the data and came to an incorrect conclusion. Shocked. You want an academic paper summarizing data? Look for yourself as I know that you'll reject anything that I cite. Those papers are there for u to peruse. Ad hominem An abbreviated phrase meaning “to the person,” argumentum ad hominem refers to an argument which relies on an attack directed at the speaker rather than the substance of the speaker’s argument. This rhetorical strategy is often fallacious in nature, employing an approach designed to discredit the character, substance or motive of a person in lieu of deconstructing the person’s claims. Example 1 Speaker 1: I think the idea of a moral law requires the existence of a lawgiver (i.e. God). Speaker 2: Of course you would say that. You’re a Christian. Why should we listen to you?
  23. OMG NO - It's all McD & Beane they just don't know what they are doing and they need to be fired immediately, the players have absolutely nothing to do with this just ask some of those here they will tell you !!! 🤪
  24. This is what the good franchises do, they are able to plan and look down the road to potential scenarios and potential future needs in future years. You don’t draft to win the first four games out of the gate after the draft. I’m not saying he will be a stud, or even in the league in 2-3 years, but I know right now is not the time to try to decide.
