I was very high on him coming out of the draft and was one of my favorite picks this draft. Obviously I liked him more for his blocking but if he shows prowess in the passing game we may have gotten a true steal
-
It was good but I still wish we had a bonafide field stretcher who could get separation and be an occasional threat.

My perspective is the opposite. I'm hoping if the coaches had doubts (which they should have, as we did), and they were shown against Balt (which seems like they were), they know they need to act. This game was a litmus test against one of the top opponents. The back end is a problem. Giving time against the fraudulent teams of NYJ, Miami, New Orleans, and New England proves little - is fools gold. Sure, let Bishop learn/improve but the problem runs deeper than that. Maybe do something like what they did for WR last year, scout the losing teams for a star and potential trade. Or just buy J Simmons. But twhatever it is this time don't cheap out and go for an A Cooper over a D Adams. Get a star in here. Do not wait. And do not let the lesser games decide the actions needed for the Lombardi. Get a bonafide difference maker in and replace one of the back end fodder and you improve the defense exponentially. I may be a little ahead of myself but I hope they see it as I do and the number 1 seed is now there for the taking! Go for it!

I heard he was kicked out. Jackson should be fined though. I don't really blame him doing what he did, but the NFL cannot sanction a player aggressively putting his hands on a fan, even if provoked like that. There is a fine line between that and a player action that seriously injures someone. There needs to be some sort of deterrent.... and that kind of fine won't harm Jackson's bank account.

The Ravens are a pretty unique challenge with Henry and Jackson. Improvement is needed and the younger guys need more experience to be sure. Everyone was saying how great the Ravens D is; wonder what their fans are saying this morning.

Josh Allen, the most expensive hotdog in the league

Sahlens. It's Buffalo, not Rochester garbage -
Deone Walked broke the cardinal rule of blocking for FG's which is always taking the guy to your inside. For whatever reason he let the guy on his inside go and took the guy on the outside. Maybe blocking for FG's is new for him but that's a boneheaded play every coach through little loop would be pissed about.

A lot of times the short passes early were called/checked into against the right looks we just didn’t execute well…something that has stood out so far on a rewatch. Ravens were shedding blocks and stuffing guys in the open field most of the night though…a few times receivers dropped balls/lost their footing when catching the ball on top of pretty dreadful blocking on that behind the LOS stuff

What's the difference between a foot long and a Buffalo foot long? -
Two of the absolute top teams in the league and when their respective offenses got into gear the defenses couldn’t stop them. This was probably one of the toughest tests of the season and even though Josh & Co didn’t have a very good first half the Bills managed to win. The defense looked poor for large parts but in the end they did enough to give Josh a chance to win it.

Theyve been extremely effective so tough to hate too much. But I hear ya.
-
I agree with your point but they’re not going to change Dline personnel because of investment there and they have a lot invested in LB, the only place they’re going to change personnel is in the secondary. I mean their probably saying this a touch about us today too
-
That defensive performance was insanely bad. It would be a huge mistake for the Bills FO/Coaches to follow this advice. Oliver was incredible and Bosa showed up in the second half. Benford made a play in clutch time. Those are nice pillars to build on, but that Defense we saw last night likely prevents us from getting to a Super Bowl… again. We get Hoecht, Ogunjobin and Hairston back. Sanders, Walker, Solomon and Bishop will get more experience and should get better & better with reps. But they need to drastically improve as the season goes on & it can’t just be a reliance on Baltimore choking in big moments.

Did anyone see if the fan was actually removed from the game by security afterwards?
-
Not as good as they could be, but not nearly as bad as many believe.
-
I mean, he did blow the chance to block a game-winning FG. They should be ready to dump him.
-
I agree. I’ve grown to really like CC I think he’s gotten much better over the years. I'll go even further and say I think he’s the best analyst of all the current ones including Romo - who I also really like. He’s pretty knowledgeable and catches things I don’t see enough of from the others and he definitely researches and knows the players. He caught that Allen shifting the block scheme on the Cook play and made it understandable for the casual fan what just happened. I think he balances that really well. Where as Brady snd Romo often review a play like they’re still playing. If that makes sense.

I have only been to a small number of Bills games, all at Highmark. I never gave a thought to buying food or drink while at the game. I don't even eat or snack while I'm watching the game at home. -

Anyone have a video of Spencer Brown tossing that guy on the one run play? -
He was the only DB who didn't look absolutely terrified of the prospect of having to tackle Henry
-
I like "Keep The Faith" I use that a lot during game watches. It reminds me to not give up. LOL I never left lmao I love it.
-
I think they're overall pretty good. No superstars, but they have three quality starters who showed they can make key plays in the clutch. Let's also not forget about Kincaid, who made the big plays to keep the Bills alive in the first half, when nothing much else was working.
