Game week thread - Bills at Patriots*
Goin Breakdown replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
My concern is the Diggs mental aspect to the game. Bills (Josh) doesn't seem to play well vs a Diggs team. -
Just looked at Texans final four. Cardinals, Radiers and Colts at home. Chargers on the road. Finish last two at home. Certainly looks manageable now that the Colts are wounded at QB.

Why are we so late to adjust defensively?
ScottishBills replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems like russing > trushing -
McDermott is a coach I both love and hate.
-
Oh yeah...that one! š
-
Hopefully the Ravens take a big can of whoop to NE. I wish they were playing them before us.
-
Walker still show flashes. And to my annoyance, he often makes great plays on 2nd down so gets immediately taken out for 3rd downs. Yet, he is making plays. Leave the hot hand in. Only rotate when things are "normal"

Quite a few decades ago, I received some media training for the company I worked for at the time. It wasn't intended for anything beyond a local market and I looked at it as a resume booster. The thing that was interesting was the....uh...staged aspect of things like TV appearances, ambush interviews, and desire to get someone to say something newsworthy. So, while it would be a stretch to say there wasn't a desire to hear a truthful answer, it wasn't at all a problem for the media if some poor soul said something unintentionally inaccurate. Or, if they raised questions outside the scope of the subject that was agreed upon to be discussed. Or, cut and paste. The training also included a review of several high-profile scenarios where the 'free and independent' press sure seemed a lot more like a well-oiled corporate machine looking to push agendas, sell advertising and make some $$$. It was around this time I first became a media skeptic, and which makes me question intent and agenda when something like this happens. In the intervening decades, if anything, I've grown more skeptical of intent, truthfulness and less likely to think someone just had a bad day. Maybe that happened here...but on the whole I'm quite unconvinced.

This weeks bills team would beat the Steelers by 45. Next week? Could be a nail biter.
-
The Chiefs last night were trushing 7 in the 2nd half last night. It was very effective but not as effective as Houston russing 4.
-
I know this is a joke, but just imagine if we had worthy instead of the lazy manchild we drafted.
-
Itās plausible taken game-by-game that the road team wins each of the three WCW matchups, for sure, especially with the matchups that you posted. Iād put the probability somewhere around 10-15%, though.

Obviously I want the 1 Seed That said, if there's a year where you just want to get it, it's this one. I do not have abundant faith in Drake Maye, Bo Nix and Trevor Lawrence when the lights get bright
-
People may laugh, but the Dolphins are currently the better team than the Chiefs. Achane 5 straight games of 100+ all purpose yards. Tua is efficient and Waddle is consistent, but the real story is their defense. They have allowed 13, 13, 17, 10 points for their last 4 games (all Ws) Of all AFC teams with 6 wins (BAL, MIA, KC) the Dolphins are currently playing the best football, but their remaining schedule is absolutely brutal. I give them a 10% chance of winning out, but crazier things have happened. They need to beat New England. Thatās all i really care about.

jkeerie started following Congrats coach McDermott!

The worst thing that happened last year was Josh winning MVP with a bunch of no name receivers. It convinced Beane that he didn't need to provide better weapons for Josh so he used the draft on defense. It also made Brady look good as an OC.
-
Choosing to try to punch the ball out rather than just tackle can absolutely lead to a missed tackle, especially with a guy as shifty as Cook. It'll result in more turnovers but also more big plays by cook.
-
Coleman would have caught the rebound.
-
As much as that would suck silver lining is the pats might get them in round 1 š I feel like Denver/NE would be sh*tting themselves battling it out for the 1 seed in that case lol

SHOULD the Bills pick up Dalton Kincaidās 5th year option?
Augie replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would you prefer someone whoās is stagnant? I wouldnāt, I like players who keep improving. Kincaid by all accounts has improved his blocking, and I appreciate that dedication. Injuries happen in the NFL. Iām as excited about Hawes as anyone. I think the real question at TE is going to be Knox, and I hope he takes a pay cut to stay so we can be loaded at the position. If not, I donāt see him here next year on the current contract. -
He called the whole game in Pittsburg

-
I don't think the Texan's beat us again. I don't trust stroud. He was bad yesterday. The team is not winning because of him. My only concern is.... I don't trust Joe Brady to make adjustments. It would be Josh willing the team (like yesterday).
-
Agreed Jones has been great and appreciate his consistency. I donāt agree Walker has been inconsistent or invisible. Heās been one of the most impactful players of this draft other than maybe Hairston if he gets to play more. Walker can grow into a heck of a player or at least a chance and heās 4th rd. Heās doing better than his 2nd and 3rd rd players picked in that draft. Enjoy the win Bills fans as it was significant. Now we have the Rocky vs. Clubber Lang matchup next week, and maybe we get the movie result this time.

They likely aren't making a deep run this year. But to say it's "over" is a bit of hogwash. They could retool and be back next year stronger than ever. Next year will tell the tale better. Is this their new normal or just a blip season...much like the Bills appear to be having this year?
-
I'm still worried kc could speak into the playoffs and go one one of their patented playoff runs. Still too early for threads like this
