McDermott also had a very strong game yesterday.  He coached to win…and he did.

In McDermotts first season as head coach of the Buffalo Bills, he snapped the longest active playoff drought amongst the four major professional sports leagues, and he did it with Jo…I mean Nathan Peterman and Tyrod Taylor.

 

Did Allen help with the win totals?  Sure.  But I’d argue McDermott was going to be good regardless based on his initial results.

 

Also there’s more to a football team than one guy as we all know, this is a well deserved accolade

Defense is better since McDermott took over.

 

Defense made up for the lack of productivity we used to get from our outside receiver(s).

Man reading all of the negativity here AFTER A COME BACK WIN FOR THE AGES makes me wonder about yawls poor families that have to live with this every day .

 

All of Ya'll must have dragged your selves out of the bottle & years of a drunken stooper since McD took over because if you all complain like this now when the Bills are for the most part a winning team then during the drought years you all must have been just a pure pleasure to be around !! 

 

Can't you just be happy that --- never mind I know the answer already it's pretty apparent by the comments ..

His play for a win yesterday shows he has grown as a coach. I still hate that this has come at the expense of JA in his prime but he is a better coach now as compared to 5 years ago.

I think even with wildly inaccurate rookie Allen for a full season mcd probably wins 8-9 games with a horrendous roster on a ‘purging bad contracts’ year.  Rookie Josh missed a big stretch though and we had clowns like Derek Anderson starting haha
