  1. Past hour
  2. I remember that. It was the last time the Bengals made the playoffs. Anything might happen this weekend, but it will have nothing to do with what happened a few years ago. I’m not seeking gloom and doom, I’ll just wait and watch the game.
  3. The Bills would owe Darius Slay approximately $350,000 for 2 months work. I wouldn't go either.
  4. I mean I am sure he discussed it with McDermott but making moves on the waiver wire is 100% Brandon Beane's role and not Sean McDermott's. The only 34 year olds that ever help you "go for it" are vet QBs. No other 34 year old is a reasonable all in move.
  5. It’s not a prediction post, the Bengals are certainly different. I don’t think the Bengals offense is materially worse and despite a week to prepare for all three games, we couldn’t force an incomplete pass. So yes, it will be interesting to see how the first drive goes from my perspective.
  6. Considering they only shoot off fireworks when we score, I hope you are correct.
  7. Yes. i often asked why Elam was on the roster because he sucked and was never active. Turns out he really sucks and is borderline out of the league. The answer is that Beano thought Elam and Ingram were NOT worthless players, otherwise they would have been dumped long ago. He was clearly wrong on Elam.
  8. I like this to infinite. They are the ultimate bandwagon fans and are so annoying to listen to. Like you said, zero Patriot talk for the last 4-5 years, now they are experts on the Diggs and Cardy B. relationship. Ask them about their last playoff game and how that went and they will say "Brady was awesome".
  9. Hopefully that works. I just have a feeling it’ll be a lot of fireworks on Sunday
  10. This is kind of silly isn't it. Last game was over two years ago at Cincinnati. Game was 21-7 at halftime. Bengals scored three points in second half in 24-18 win. Really different teams now. People are scarred from the 2022 playoff game (in January 2023) at home. Bills were emotionally spent after all the weather issues that year and, of course, what happened to Hamlin. And after the game Burrow was smoking cigars and acting like an a-hole, so the PTSD is understandable. Hopefully players that were on the team then remember. But this Bengals defense is a shadow of what it was two years ago, and none of this is predictive of what will happen Sunday IMO. But I could be wrong. 😎
  11. Assuming we don't win the division, getting the 5th seed, e.g., and playing WC game in Pittsburgh would be an ideal scenario. Would set us up to possibly have a home game too. Basically, beat the Bengals and root for the Steelers for the rest of the season!
  12. Good god, what a whiny thread. Please get us to Sunday quickly.
  13. It's not a good look for Beane, but it's also not a big deal. Serious question- Who's the last ex bills player that another team claimed, that actually had an impact? Isiah Hodgins might be the best, maybe? And I don't think anyone wants him back now
  14. Pickens pulled a Keon in this game. Just loafed around and jogged during routes
  15. This really pisses me off that we lose a depth guy, in his prime, that knows the system and has been here. All for some clown that didn’t want to play in Buffalo because it’s too cold and he already has a house in Philly. How could Beane not do his due diligence?
  16. those games? you mean the difference between: Raiders, Giants, Titans... vs. Texans, Chiefs, Eagles so, when you're a new england fan and discover football after seeing the team is over .500 do you just start running your mouth about ball knowledge or does it come natural as being part of what is basically drunk yankee redneck? oh and UNC is among the bottom tier schools like Ichigan.... the good athletes that go there are usually just really decent at sports but dumb as a box of rocks and can only get into the low end schools like those places... if they're smart they'd go to an academic program like Duke or a respectable school in Ohio.
  17. The MSM will avoid asking why the Biden DOJ/FBI having most of the evidence failed to act. They won't be able to hide this story. But they're hesitate to show the suspect's photo. And will describe the suspect as a "dark skinned white male". If you need a clue about media bias just listen carefully how they describe a story, What words they choose to use and those they avoid and leave out while adding closers such as "despite a lack of evidence" or "while not providing details".
  18. I wonder what that’s like?
  19. Couldn’t we ask “why has so and so been on the roster” about others too? Ingram has been here for three years and in that time, there’s definitely been times where he could have stepped up and made himself more indispensable, given the problems we’ve had there recently (Elam bust, Belford injuries, Hairston injury), and what did he do to seize his opportunity? Depends on your thoughts on whether the “window” is still open, has closed, or is still cracked. If Slay was someone you signed to “go for it”, then yes, you do what you need to do … plenty of Ingram’s come along every year (I’m not saying Slay was the missing piece, mind you)
  20. I don't want to argue either, but if I recall there was really no consensus on who the #1 QB was that year. I do think Rosen was hyped up as "most NFL ready" though, oops.
  21. well… it WAS opened right after the game ended 😝
  22. It’s crazy watching them trot Aubrey out there for 63-yarders like it’s an extra point…I’m old enough to remember when….
