Shows how good this organization is with personnel. They prop up guys like Edmunds and Davis and they go and get absurd money elsewhere.

If that's true, he was the second beat wife out on the Jags. So why is he a free agent today?

If any of you have dated a Pakistani or Indian woman, you would know how tense the relationship between Paks and Indies are.

So I guess there's some "good" news to this -- it does in fact appear as though it was a complete accident and Elway did nothing wrong. The dude just fell off the back of the cart and landed on his head. Still tragic, but no evidence of negligence or foul play.

Not really But that Cavs ending last night was crazy

Hollins snaps are already replaced between Palmer and more snaps for Keon. Palmer is already better IMO than Davis in terms of receiving (better hands, better routes, bigger route tree, better separation) and Keon is going to be given every chance to be WR1 this year. So this isn't is he a better WR down field than Hollins (and he is, but I don't think its by as much as people think), its where does he fit in the WR room right now. Keon, Shakir, Palmer, Samuel are not going anywhere and that makes Davis essentially WR4/5 here depending on how they use Samuel and assuming they would cut Moore (if only 5 are kept). If they keep Moore, now you got Davis and Moore battling for first guy off the deep bench, unless Samuel falters and one of them over take his expected role this year. Im not against Davis coming back by any means (just don't like him as a starting WR2), he is an excellent dirty work guy and has downfield value even though his awareness, hands, and route tree are all not his strong suits. But looking at it from Davis point of view, he has no role here to be an involved WR in the passing game unless injuries were to make it possible. I don't think he is looking to go somewhere where his primary use is blocking and he gets some occassional targets as a depth WR. Places like the Steelers, Giants, and a few other teams offer more opportunities for actual targets.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
dave mcbride replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I still can't believe he dropped that pass. It's OK for a first rounder drafted for his great hands to drop that in the second quarter of an early October game vs. the Arizona Cardinals, but not against KC with two minutes to go on a gotta-have-it play and with a SB appearance on the line. -

Could have been CJ West 😢 -
Last season in his by far worst year Davis averaged more yards and catches per game than Hollins. Hollins caught 31 balls for 378 yards what are we talking about? Davis is as good a blocker and healthy a by far better wr. If healthy is the question. With offset language he will sign a 1 year minimum deal and Jacksonville picks up the tab. Its a no lose situation with a player that Allen knows and likes.

TJ Watt Speculation after Pickens trade (Nothing Official)

Bad things man, bad things. -
I doubt either of them are that dumb, but I also don't rule out religious fundamentalists from doing insane things.
-
He walks in and is an upgrade over Hollins. Davis blocks and will be involved early downs. Offers more down field and after the catch. If he lost a step its no risk.
-
It probably is. With his facial hair, looks like Josh!! Thing is, even if it is him, he has a lot of time to add muscle. Last season basically just ended.
-
no he doesn't
-
Wasn't sad to see him go because we knew he'd get massively overpaid by some dumb team. Turns out the Jags were that dumb team. When he signed that $13m/year deal with the Jags I'd have taken him back with the Bills for closer to $3-$4m/year. He's a great blocker and I have no ill will towards the guy for being massively overpaid (I'd sign that deal too!) so I'd be alright with signing him for cheap here and seeing if he can help.
-
I think it said over his career not 1 season that would be crazy. They may have been exaggerating but I remember it being either in the 30s or 40s due to him running the wrong route.
-
Healthy he offers more than Mack Hollins.
-
Yippie!

IMHO he has no role here, I personally doubt we keep more than 5 WRs as it is with all the bodies we have in the secondary and DL now. So, I can’t see him coming back unless he’s willing to do it as a backup who doesn't get many snaps/targets. I would think he wants a place where he will get more opportunities than what the Bills WR room offers him right now. I wouldn't be against bringing him back as depth, but I just think he is going to prioritize a place where he can at least compete to start. I wouldn't be against bringing him back as depth, but I just think there are better opportunities for him at this point in his career. I will honestly be shocked if he isn’t a Steeler or Giant before the end of this week. They both wake way too much sense right now

NBA playoffs— anyone else watching?
BillsPride12 replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
I haven't watched any of the NBA playoffs this year as I have mostly been focused on the NHL playoffs but I keep hearing there have been some really good games and series this year so I am going to try to start catching some of the games. -
This is the complete off-season deadzone. It's well after free agency and enough time after the draft that all analysis on the off-season significant additions has been done. And with Moore signed it is likely the Bills don't make any signings really worth talking about (Gabe is a marginal roster reclamation project if they do resign him and what maybe they sign a vet LB for marginal depth not much is gonna happen signings wise most likely). And it's two months and some change before training camp so the "season previews" that occur in late June early July aren't there. So it is just an over analysis of everything for the next 2ish months.
