I’ll say as a public statement 18 months out, that actually gives me a bit of pause on whether it’ll be ready.

I do think we’ve gone to “circumstantial evidence” from “common knowledge.” Which was my point. You can have suppositions. They may even be true. "We all" was mostly from the Carolina end. When your team is the one stealing information it's considerably less of an issue from your perspective. See Bills fans fixation on perceived Belichick-era Pats cheating against Buffalo. Anything Buffalo Bills complaint related was a non-issue to NE fans for almost 20 years let alone the period where an employee of theirs was believed to have recorded other teams signals. We technically never had any proof whatsoever that the Patriots used any information they stole against the Bills. So I guess they didn't. Right? There are always going to be those who will disbelieve the obvious despite a mountain of circumstantial evidence. You don't think McDermott used Carolina draft intel that was shared with him and you believe that Beane was totally unaware that he would be the Bills GM for those 4 months. That's yours to believe. Personally, if I thought I might be getting the job with my hometown team to work with people I know I would probably hold out for that job rather than join a team that just executed about 40(?) free agent acquisitions/draft picks/UDFA's/futures signings etc.. that I didn't have any input on in the previous 4+ months. The first season on my record I had little to even do with the roster construction. What's not to like about that? But if the glove doesn't fit.....Chans must acquit.

Well, I certainly will chime in. This place is great. Well, it's pretty dull right now in this dead period. These doldrums seem to get worse every year. But I'll echo what others have said. I come here daily, because if there's any Bills news, I know it will be here. I come here daily to see what people are talking about, and sometimes to join in. I come here daily to find funny little nuggets that people post here. It is the place for all things Bills. BBMB was better in only one respect, which was volume of posts. They had more active members, so the discussions often were livelier, and new threads showed up more often. However, they had more posters because the Bills wouldn't let the moderators ban the bad actors and control the board in other ways, and that meant there were more rogue posters who messed up threads, started arguments, etc. Here, everyone knows that if you don't behave you're gone, and therefore everyone behaves. The knowledge and the memory of the posters here is fabulous. I must have seen but have no recollection of that drive against the Dolphins with Kelly diving into the end zone as time expired. How great was that? So, thanks to SDS and to all those who keep this place running. I love it.

We were as healthy as we will ever be last year. Given the previous few seasons it would be a miracle to be in the same position. 100% health is not coming.
