99% of people never said we suck. Its more of are we good enough to win in the playoffs.

San Jose (or sometimes Palo Alto, which is bigger). Just started this year and so far, I've been very pleased. They've done lots of lab work, which gives me a pretty good sense of my health (cholesterol, triglycerides, etc. etc.) And they've proactively offered me free nutritional coaching, weight counselling, mental health services, eyeglasses, and so on. My dad, also a vet, told me years ago to start using the VA. Not sure why I waited so long.

I don’t mean to imply that Tre and Po aren’t positive contributors because they certainly are. It was interesting to see that Hairston (50%) and Hancock (47%) split reps evenly with Tre and Po, respectively. I suspect that’s because McD and Co. can plainly see that they need that superior athleticism on the field, especially against offenses like KC. I think the youngsters will see increased snap counts as the season progresses, too. Again, that’s not a dis on the two vets who were mainstays in the secondary in previous seasons; just another reminder that father time catches up to all of us.

Bills offense -- first in the NFL in yards per game
FireChans replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah it’s how much they need the “perfect” to be great. A missed block for a 2 yard loss on first down? We are less than great. A procedural penalty for a 2nd and 15? We are less than great. 3rd and 10 in an obvious passing situation? We are less than great. We are stylistically so different from the Niners with Jimmy G, but that’s what this offense reminds me of. When we are rolling and running the ball well and staying on schedule, we are a wagon offensively. If you can bottle us up a bit and get us behind the sticks, it pays off for the defense. -
Refresh, refresh, refresh, waiting for the Bills trade for Olave, Baker, Shaheed, Waddle, somebody

What a damn shame. He was a perfect fit for the D. We hope for a successful survey and quick recovery, and for guys like Groot and AJ (and yes Jackson gets his shot) to carry the battle forward.

Joey Bosa is really happy to be a Bill

I'm of the opinion that Bosa will re-sign. -
Are McBeane secretly creating an elite offense?
Big Turk replied to BullBuchanan's topic in The Stadium Wall
The point is he will be far better at getting open downfield than what we have now which will have to be respected and should allow more breathing room underneath. Regardless of what we thought of him, he was one of the best deep ball WR's in the NFL during his time here and had the 2nd highest YPC in the NFL while here. -
Snap counts for the Bills in Chiefs game
CincyBillsFan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's almost as if they're load managing Kincaid. Why have him block and get worn down when they have Knox, the Rookie and Gillum? -
Will we see Hairston "shadowing" Worthy on Sunday??
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
On his INT... was he down? I know Worthy made contact before he fell, but the collision with Bishop is what made him fall. -
I don't even think I've seen the rollercoaster OP is talking about. We've been appropriately calm after this win, imo. No declarations of winning the Super Bowl or going crazy about beating KC in the regular season. That is old hat, after all, and as of today we are a wild-card team, nothing more. And I don't know about others, but I predicted beating Carolina and KC. Nothing to get excited over yet.

Are McBeane secretly creating an elite offense?
HappyDays replied to BullBuchanan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any random player can have a good play now and again. I'm talking about consistency. We have no consistent outside WR ability right now. We're papering over it with a strong run game and quick efficient passes. I'm fine making that version of our offense 90% of what we do but in high leverage situations where we just need a bucket I still have no confidence we have the horses to get one. A lot of fans were pissed at Brady for that 3rd and 10 screen, but he called that play because even he doesn't have confidence in his WRs to get open. I personally had no problem with that play call. That's the world we have to live in with this personnel. The last time we saw Gabe in the Joe Brady offense, his targets were being intentionally diminished. Brady wants no part of Gabe's low efficiency/high negative play rate style of WR. Like I said he's a better option than Shavers. I still do not want him to suddenly become a key part of this offense. -
We can never know what is going on exactly with a group of people we don’t know, but it’s notable to me that the defense looks more like a group that knows their assignments on a specific play call. That seems to coincide with Poyer’s re-arrival. As such, I’m giving him all the credit.

There he is, #24

They interviewed Hoecht on the sideline, shortly after his injury. Hoecht declined heading to locker room. Hoecht said im gonna watch the game right here on the bench with my teammates. WGR said on Max’s interception Hoecht was banging on the seat loudly, cheering and giving high 5s. He cheered his team and celebrated the win with them. Hoecht is Top Notch

Usually most years we get one close game and one blowout. Already had the close game so that means this should be the... They will, Rosen makes use of void years significantly and it is all going to catch up to them at some point, but he might have 2 or 3 rings by the time it does. I would like to see Beane do a little bit more of this.

Prior to our game the Chiefs rated 21st in Success rate and 22nd in EPA against the rush. Jones is not having a good year and I noted we would be able to run on them. OP called out how quickly things change. I'm just calling out that things really didn't change nor was it any different weeks ago prior to the two losses. To expect actual change players need to develop. The secondary could be a source of actual change this year. But as far as saying we are fixed or we are broken, it's neither. Our formula worked flawlessly yesterday. When it doesn't we will see what we saw in our losses unless we have a reason to think it's different. Only fans swing these larger narratives like "we are fixed, sky is falling, back to being a Super Bowl team".

Yup. It might seem crazy, but I think Cam Lewis gives your more than Taron at this point. They did some really interesting things with Lewis and Bishop last night that you can't do with Taron. Also, Lewis has been a much more physical player than Taron this year.

Groot definitely prefers the left side.

They probably don't in the future, but right now those players cost peanuts because the team they got them from paid most of their money for the year already.

yeah that's the procedure Rodgers had and he seems pretty much back to normal for his age
