Lifetime You’re either guaranteed the Super Bowl this year or guaranteed the money and zero Super Bowls in your lifetime.

Los Angeles under military attack
Jauronimo replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Rights like due process? You want some freedoms unfettered and other freedoms trampled by force. You're a good authoritarian and its been clear as day. -
Do you think we're being too literal?

Gimme the hardware, and it’s not even close.

LOL @ $500... it's being modest to call that a "no brainer".... $500 is nothing, especially these days
-
Thats a tough answer. Also the question is open to interpretation. Should I be thinking about this in terms of: $$$$ and never see a Super Bowl victory in my lifetime? OR $$$$ there will be no Super Bowl Victory this season? 1. Its in the millions. Its gotta be life changing money for me to basically give up on football and betray my friends, family, and hometown. 2. I could live with trading one year of Allen's prime for money and no championship. I've been doing it for free for years. This year is one of our best chances to win it all in the Allen era. I would take a $500k and convince myself it wasn't their year anyway.

Bengals bungling things up - new rookie contract clause
Gugny replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bengals aren’t going into year 8 with a top 2-3 NFL QB. If any window appears to be closing, it’s certainly not Cincinnati’s. Two common denominators in the Josh era: Josh and McDermott. Zero Super Bowl appearances. Making fun of the Bengals is laughable. -
Would you rather $ or Lombardi?
strive_for_five_guy replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
How about $200k? -
I just about went to Cameo and had Tim Russ record a personal message, "We STILL ain't found crap!!!" 😁 * Sadly, no John Candy or Joan Rivers to reprise their roles.
-
I hear you, but I'm confident. AJ Klein made this team repeatedly based on nothing much more than heart. White almost certainly is closer to NFL-worthy physically than Klein. McDermott loves his veteran leaders, and he doesn't have one at corner. I'm confident, but obviously we will have to wait and see.

Ranking the 15 greatest Bills ever
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tasker is way too high. He shouldn't be anywhere on that list. OJ should be #2 behind Bruce. -

100% agree it's not even a thought I don't think I do it for $20,000
-
Agreed. We can make 500, 5k and 10k relatively easy. Experiencing the Bills winning the SB…. Priceless

Sell it for $501?

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I did NFL+ for a couple years when I had to work on Sunday. I honestly enjoyed it more than watching it live as it offered 2 “condensed” versions. One with just the commercials cut out (which I did for the Bills as I liked the anticipation & build of each play) and then just the action only (which I did for all other games which made them only 30 minutes or so.) It was great being able to pause the game and watch on my own time. -
A hamstring pull isn't ideal though...the fact it sounds like he's walking ok is good, maybe it really was a tiny pull that doesn't make future ones more likely
-
This is how I know you are dissembling.

My mother almost died (technically she kinda did) a couple years ago. One of the many thoughts that went through my head was I would never get to see or experience the joy of the Bills winning a Superbowl with her. She pulled through and is still kicking. So for me… it’s hard to put a price tag on what that moment would mean to our family. So I would need something along the lines of Josh’s contract size to make me consider taking the money.

Insurrection Riots: Finding The Funding
reddogblitz replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If this is as wide spread and as blatant as I read on here regularly it should be a piece of cake that even Barney Fife could find. Wouldn't surprise me at all to find out there are agitators/funders on both sides and maybe hard to tell apart. Catch and prosecute all protesters/agitators/funders that are breaking the law regardless of political persuasion. -
But if he's lost more than a step and that's looking like a real possibility, he may not be able to execute the Defense flawlessly. At this point, he may not even be Prime Levi Wallace or Dane Jackson. I can't remember a time when Levi (or any other CB really) had it reported that "it wasn't a good day for them" by every reporter on a consistent, every day basis. If he's struggling that badly and it continues through Training Camp, I don't think you can say "he knows the Defense and that will get him by". We only lost 2 CB's and brought in 5 between the Draft (Hairston, Hancock (who may or may not fall under the Safety chart), and Strong) and FA (White and Jackson). Of those 2 spots, it's an absolute given that Hairston is taking one. At no point have I thought White was "nearly a lock". At most, I had him penciled in. But he has to prove to not be a liability and also beat out a number of guys. And from what's been being said lately combined with the number of guys he'll have to beat - I don't know how anyone could be so confident that he's going to be here. But time will tell....
