The fact that he showed up to camp tells me his agent backed off somewhat. They’ll probably still put up a fight, but settle around 12…12.5. His actual worth. He could take a gamble and wait but why? If he takes the 12, he’ll be the guy on the Bills for the next 5 years at least. It’s a great situation. Good owner, good team…why hold out for an extra 3 mil to play for the Jacksonville’s of the world? Take the deal James

Beane may have had the same POV as you. Cook may be looking for 4 years at $60 million. We have no idea what the disconnect on a contract is. It might be years, total value, guaranteed money, etc. Unless there’s an extension before the season we won’t know for a while.

Ah yes Rivera and his 497 winning percentage Sean McDermott is literally top 15 all time if you take modern NFL coaches Nobody would take Ron Rivera over Sean McDermott You seem to always forget that winning the super bowl in the NFL is a combination of coaching talent luck healthiness Dan Marino is the best pure quarterback in the history of the game and he never won... Jeff hostetler and Mark rypien have super bowls lol Sean McDermott gets credit for helping Josh Allen develop... How many insanely talented quarterbacks bust? How many raw quarterbacks bust? Sean has been there since day one and been a calming coaching influence and the type of guy that lets young players grow

Allen is the only player who would effect win lose record beyond one game either way imho. maybe one less win without Dawkins or Brown.

No I have never saw the left use government to reduce the rights of minorities, females, white men, or any other group based on age, sex, or color. None of the examples you gave or your perceived injustices fall into those categories. Cancel culture is not the same thing as telling a women what she must do with her unborn child or redistricting areas and voter law to make it harder for poor and minorities to vote. Limiting gay rights, etc. These things are not the same as calling you a Putin lover. The fact that you don’t see that distinction is, fascinating. But not really. -
I agree but James cook is not a TD back for me he is a big play back and I don’t see a lot of them right now let the big backs and Josh get the 1 yard tds I want 30+ yard plays and he creates plenty of them id pay him for 2 more years and see what happens

WGR was playing a similar version this game and I would like to see your opinion as well. Bills won 13 games in 2024. 1. How many would they have won without Josh Allen? 2. How many would they have won without James Cook? 3. How many would they have won without Dion Dawkins? Spencer Brown? 4. How many would they have won without Ed Oliver? 5. How many would they have won without Rousseau? and any other you would like to do...

agree with this. It’s the smart thing for him as well, so hopefully someone smart advising him.

We did Italy last fall, the advice you have gotten so far is spot on. Naples seemed a bit sketchy, but for a day or two I guess it is fine. We ended our trip planning on touring the Almalfi coast, using Sorrento as our base for 4 nights, we loved it so much, we only did Capri and spent the rest of our time in and around Sorrento. The trains are definitely the way to go. We started up north (Milan to Venice to Cinque Terr to Florence and then Rome, using trains for most of the legs of the trip. Wonderful experience, don't worry about the language barriers, you will be fine.

Winning points with the fans to put more public pressure on Beane. Next level stuff. In all seriousness, wherever you stand on Cook you have to at least give him credit for showing up and participating when a lot of unhappy players contract wise around the league didn't.

Thanks for the new post in this thread. -
Per Burrows request. Especially with Higgins. I’ll give you that Chase they were a year late to the party and it cost them. my statement about Burrow is the same as Allen, or any top paid athlete with endorsements. Does the extra 3-5 million a year change your life in anyway?

I have next to zero confidence. Good for you if you feel differently. I hope guys like Dawkins and Josh share your confidence when they suit up to face the Chiefs again. But my suspicion is that some folks in that locker room feel like "here we go again," at this point. Nah, but a decade from now, if we look back on Beane and McD like they look at Rivera and Gettleman in Carolina, I'll expect an apology.

One of the democrat talking points was “no tax increase on anyone making under $250k” for a while. That was later adjusted to $400k to widen the net of victims and demonize those not paying their fair share. https://taxpolicycenter.org/taxvox/president-bidens-no-tax-hike-pledge-problem https://www.politico.com/news/2024/07/26/harris-biden-pledge-not-raise-taxes-middle-class-00171416 -
Guys who hit those high levels of TD production on lower snap numbers rarely duplicate it unless they’re power backs. Aaron Jones is probably the best recent example of that. Cook is a very valuable player in this offense as he’s one of the few weapons that can play above the scheme at times, but I wouldn’t expect that TD production to be his new normal.

The national guard I get. Especially after reports that the LAPD is “completely overwhelmed.” That’s the job of the national guard. But active duty Marines? Yikes… that’s ***** concerning. -
