  1. Past hour
  2. Patriots 30 Bills 24 Hope I'm wrong but I don't have a good feeling about this one.
  3. Same here. 30 years in New England and what feels like 30 years of Brady worship (and that is the right word) makes me want Patriots fans to suffer for decades. Too bad, because I like May. I wish they had Watson instead.
  4. I could careless about Lamar Jackson. I just find it absolutely hilarious when keyboard warriors who have never even sniffed playing professional football, call football players "soft". Just not a good look bud.
  5. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ That's pretty much every week for some of the posters around here... Regarding this game and both teams, I'm nearly blue in the face saying this about the Bills but it especially applies to the Patriots too, who have virtually an entirely new coaching staff and a substantially re-made roster... We don't know who these teams are yet because it's week 4. We have a better idea of who the Bills are but their defense and the entire Patriots team are works in progress. The Bills overall are much more established in their program and being at home and in prime time, I see the Bills covering the spread.
  6. It was hard to search, but here's one: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10061112-lamar-jackson-hasnt-felt-right-after-testing-knee-injury-before-ravens-vs-bengals Here is another one: https://www.thebanner.com/sports/ravens-nfl/lamar-jackson-knee-injury-C6MP2ZEBKVCH5MSAOOU5UPTHD4/ The subtext here was Lamar's contentious contract negotiations with the Ravens. It was clear at the time that he didn't want to play on an injured PCL because there was a very real chance of further injury that would have cost him millions. I remember at the time that the real scandal wasn't that he didn't play. It was that he didn't fly with the team to the game to support them. Which in and of itself wasn't a big deal, but it is clear from the second article that I linked above that there was a disconnect between Lamar and the Ravens at that time that played a big role in public perception of his actions and statements.
  7. Adding Fan to my Amazon wish list
  8. I will content myself with the Do Not Urinate In Sink tshirt
  9. That is a good point, and I'm thinking of Tony Romo for example. There were a couple more that escaped my mind right now that started from small schools with a lot less pressure. Thinking back to Bill Walsh who redshirted all of the quarterbacks and players on his team it's also relevant. I think that with the Nil deals we're going to have more issues than we should unfair development. Players are becoming more absorbed into their own identity and name that they are with the team. And my personal opinion that it's disgusting, football's a team sport. If you want to be an individual go play an individual sport or soccer.
  10. That's how it goes Mr. Open Borders... Someone has to pay for that kind of stupidity...
  11. There was an entire article a couple weeks back also in the Athletic about how QB's are mostly all being ruined today by getting them out there way to fast. But the coaches job is on the line so it's done, repeatedly. Recall years back my thought was that seemed like some of the better QB's in NFLK came from small schools as they didn't have 10 All Americans surrounding them. Hmmmmm. Do All Americans still exist or am I dating myself??
  12. I tried to search for it briefly before I took my shower but nothing relevant came up because there's been so many recent articles about his supposed injury. Anyone who was around back when his original injury occurred with the Tyler Huntley replacing him episode may remember that there was speculation he wasn't really injured and was milking it until he got a new contract. Anyone who is blind to this might not realize the type of me first player he And your best sterilizations to call NHL and record player soft is invalid. There are some soft NHL and rugby players. I know one guy who is a rugby player that plays the national team, he is most definitely not soft. I know another guy who got pretty high up there in rugby who was soft. It all depends on the individual. You nor I have exact proof to say who Lamar Jackson may or may not be when it comes to his faking or not faking of injury It really isn't that difficult to understand we both have a difference of opinions, stop white knighting for some dude you don't know and you act like a diva. I don't think he's interested in you.
  13. We called sneaks.
  14. Isn’t that what linebackers are for?
  15. I felt the same way and had myself convinced that he would be our WR2 … oh well, I liked Josh Rosen too 😂
  16. Buffalo absolutely is regional to Toronto and Southern Ontario. I’m originally from Niagara Falls and I can tell you everywhere within a 4-hour radius is pulling for the Bills. We love hitting up Tops/Wegmans on our trips. Everywhere you look it’s Bills fans. Cross the border on our side, you’ll see the red, white and blue of the Bills. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, my girl got her degree in Rochester (and lived there for 2 years) and also went to USC. Her fav is Dion, and she’s just a regular person pulling for the Bills like so many over here. Just an FYI, a Bills parade will have to account for a lot of your brothers/sisters up north
  17. I think he'll be pretty fired up. I picked 1 TD, and it will be on Tre White.
  18. They don’t need to double cover him. Diggs doesn’t have any explosiveness anymore and mainly runs short routes. The Tight Ends will be more dangerous that Diggs
  19. I'm not saying "most" Bill's fans aren't from WNY but i literally (two weeks ago) got back from a game where I not only went to the game but camped in a lot at the Stadium and there was a whole field of fans just from Toronto. Nothing but Ontario plates and Canadian flags. Wonderful people. Growing up in upstate NY I was actually an Expos fan. I guess times were different then. We didn't show our passport to go to Canada. We were neighbors and friends.
  20. They don't realize the stats are only as close as they are because, outside of the Ravens game, Allen hasn't had to be Superman. The run game has been dominant in these games and the Bills are loving this balanced offense. I guess when you score 30+ a game and win by 2 scores (although the games have been closer than they should have been late) you can live with it. But make no mistake about it...... the difference is that when Allen needs to put the cape on, he will and go for 375+ and 4TDs. He has the extra gear that separates him from pretty much everyone else. Now, I would make the argument that the Bills should let Allen be Allen more often than they do, especially in the middle of games where we have been stalling out with this balanced offense we are trying to run, push the issue and maybe go up 3 scores instead of letting these teams hang around, but that is a different discussion. So many times I want them to go tempo to change things up when they get into an offensive funk and let Allen cook, but they have been reluctant to do that for whatever reason. I'd make the argument we could be putting up 35+ per game if we let Allen loose every once in a while during the games, but that doesn't seem to be what they want to do for whatever reason. Anyway, Pats* fans seem to have forgotten since Brady left that there are levels to this and that when he needs to be great, Allen is on a tier all by himself.
  21. Don’t feel bad , I didn’t know they were still fielding a team,
  22. Living in New England (NH) I can't stand the thought of the Patriots being within a game of first place after this game. They have the Saints and Titans coming up and we have the Falcons and a bye. Patriots fans are insufferable and I can hear them now, saying, "wait till we play them again!" should they beat the Bills tomorrow. Bills need to win so I only have to hear the Celtics hype.
