  2. Pegula lacks the personal savvy AND the organizational structure/objectivity to have identified the obvious need to fire McD after 13 seconds or in each of the last two off-seasons when Ben Johnson was ostensibly available. To not hire someone with serious pedigree to oversee football operations in an executive capacity above McD and Beane is the height of Busch League incompetence. Instead, Pegula is the only person evaluating McBeane, which is insane if you've ever listened to anything Pegula has ever said about football. He's an impressionable imbecile about sports. He NEEDS C-Suite layers above his coaches and front office personnel, but lacks the wisdom or humility to admit it. He accepts mediocrity. Pegula's refusal to bring in football and hockey execs to oversee each operation and provide needed expertise independent of (and critical of) coaching and management is absolutely idiotic. Maybe Kim could have grown into that role (her interpersonal aptitude and general savvy is very underrated to this day), but failing to bring in pedigreed people at the top is just such a huge ongoing nightmare. Owners definitely have HUGE impacts on organizational success across the major sports leagues. Teams can have fleeting success without great ownership, but sustained success starts at the top. The Bills drought was deeply and obviously tied to ownership issues and the downstream impacts of those issues, and you can see the Sabres suffering now from that same condition. That would still be the result of the pre-snap solutions Allen is provided by his coaches. I think defenses know how to sometimes force Allen to check into disadvantageous or predictable audibles. It's not like he has the time at the line or the license to pick from ANY play in their arsenal. He isn't running Peyton Manning's Marchibroda offense, unfortunately. I think it's mostly true. But not completely Allen's fault. He's put in bad positions.
  3. No it doesn't Reid was gagging away games BEFORE he got Mahomes
  4. We're not going to get Jordyn Tyson from Arizona St. We're not going to get Carnell Tate from Ohio St. Concepcion or Chris Bell from Louisville are probably what we're staring at for WR's early. 3rd Round guys could be Skyler Bell from UConn, who is actually an interesting prospect, Omar Cooper from Indiana, and Malachi Fields from ND.
  5. And then around November he will play DE because of injuries and lack of depth.
  6. Baylon Spector........sigh
  7. Buffalo 20 pittsburgh 19
  8. Today
  9. They will make it in somehow someway much like Buffalo. Neither will do ***** once they’re in, but would be cool to beat them even if they (bills) did miss the SB.
  10. A new defensive philosophy in general would be nice...
  11. was respected enough to take over for Matt Rhule when he got canned mid season in Carolina. He’s done great considering the starting kicker went down and the return game playing a big factor (even in losses, but doesn’t discount the great returns.)
  12. Beane deserves this smoke, 100%. I won't be shocked if we miss playoffs and they both get canned. But ive never been more confident theyre going to attack the position hard this off season. Would've rather sooner obviously.
  13. Also, the repetitive/pared-down playbook of the Kelly Bills offense was much more vertical and aggressive in nature, so it put more strain on defenders. Like, even if Brady's mesh routes actually work and Allen has the time to wait for them, they're still semi-horizontal routes that don't exactly put safeties in conflict. Allen's arm should be firing lasers downfield on seam and boundary 9s and posts and flags and skinnies and the like...not just crossers and swings and screens and contested fades. Threaten defenses through the air while also slashing them on the ground. Add in mucho motion and play action and let's effing go.
  14. Thought same thing last night. Dude is a monster after the catch. He pulled through a gap between two safeties or possible a S & CB and the acceleration was like he was on a dirtbike. Lil biased cause hes from Charlotte and first 2 season at NC State. He was most dangerous freshman year. Was a real dual threat that year... need to dig into the tape to figure out why he took a step back (yet still super impressive) after that year. Could be transferring to A&M there were a lot more weapons to compete for touches. Couple excerpts from NFLDraft Buzz: "Shows remarkable football IQ by finding soft spots against zone coverage - consistently sits down in windows and presents a favorable target for his quarterback" "Elevates his play in big moments - repeatedly showed up in critical situations against Clemson and Virginia during his breakout freshman campaign." I also dig Chris Bell from Louisville... I will be honest though, these guys are currently rated late 1st- early 2nd. If we get super aggressive and go after a true #1... these are guys that I'd want to compete for #2. Not guys id solely rely on to fix that part of our game I don't believe he can. Thats what id thought id heard
  15. None of these WR’s any of you are speaking of are needed…..everyone eats!!
  16. I'm starting to think he just wasn't qualified or up to the task for an NFL OC role, I hope I'm wrong
  17. Can we PLEASE just trade for someone we already KNOW can play WR? Pegula isn’t moving on from Beane and McDermott (despite the fact that he should) and Beane can’t accurately evaluate FA or college WR talent, so we need someone who’s already been vetted.
  18. I like this guy in the later rounds as a flyer after we get someone in the 1st: https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Nyck-Harbor-WR-SouthCarolina
  19. but will he be there at… … …… ….. pick 18???
  20. Update after having these for a month. When doing school work, I always had to utilize text to speech. Since I got the glasses and overlays, I have zero need for text to speech. And I'm retaining information a whole hell of a lot better. So much so that my grades in the two classes I'm taking (Introduction to Meteorology and Soils 101) have increased anywhere from 5 to 15 percentage points. I'm actually reading books now. Before whenever I tried to read a book, I could only go 3 to 5 pages before I wanted to pull my hair out. Now? 20 pages easily without any mental discomfort. I'm reading a book on the Law of Attraction currently. When I'm done with that, I'm going to read @Shaw66 book, Fan. To say that these glasses have been life changing, is a gross understatement.
  21. Is he cool with less than 3 targets per game? Does he specialize in two routes from one position? Is the gauntlet drill the highlight of his combine? Is he all about ball? Will he need a fake ID throughout his first contract? Does he require four wake up calls per day? if you’ve answered Yes to 3 or more of the questions above, he’s our guy.
  22. Bernard had been playing through injuries (plural) this season prior to his obvious arm injury last game...and while that builds upon his growing history of unavailability, it also explains some of his lack of production when on the field. He's still making a bunch of solid reads, but seems to be having trouble turning most of those into impact plays. He obviously can't hold up physically to the rigors of an NFL season at MLB.
