  2. In two games vs them Allen is 33 for 64, been sacked 9 times, has 19 bad throws, more INT's than TD's. It's the best defense in the NFL. They clearly give our offensive line problems. They shut down the screen game as well as anybody in football. They're good enough on offense to get to 20 vs us. Can we? It's a 50/50 game, but they're likely the most difficult playoff match up we would face at this point.
  3. It really comes down to who they're playing against. The offense is extremely tough to stop when you aren't committing to stopping the run. If a defense can win at the line of scrimmage without overcommitting like the Texans can, then they'll struggle to move the ball. If a defense heavily commits to crowding the line of scrimmage like the Dolphins did in game 2, then they'll struggle. The offense has been generally lucky this year with who they played against. They played three top 10 defenses, only finding success against the Chiefs. I think this would be the best offense in the league by a mile if they added one dynamic tight end or top rated receiving threat to the outside. Right now, it's just too one dimensional.

I don't need to be a legal scholar to know that when this is happening that she is over her skis. I also don't need to be a legal scholar to know a judge that releases a person back into the community who has been convicted dozens of times of violent crimes is incompetent. Lastly your entire argument about her credentials is stupid because I am certain you have found in your work sometimes the most "credentialed" person is a moron who clearly can't apply the info properly, my worst administrator was a women who had two doctorates, psychology and educational leadership, and could not apply it at all, but she had a position because the piece of paper said she could.

  6. Tough one to call...no matter what it will be close....The Bills' D is still a crapshoot as you never know which D (the 1st half or 2nd half) D will show up. I think the officials, unfortunately, will do what they always do when anyone plays the Pats or the Chiefs - gift phantom penalties against the Bills and no calls on the opposing teams O line holding. hate to pre-complain about the officiating but after watching the Sabres get hosed the last 4 games its just impossible to shake the notion there is a bias against Buffalo among officials in general. Bandwagon Fans Team 27 Bills 22..the last drive by Allen will get stalled by a dubious offensive pass interference call after Allen connects on a wonderful pass to Kincaid. This is one time I really, really want to be wrong.

  9. Actually what this team has proven over the years is that it is sustainable to win like that in the playoffs as long as the opponent isn't the Chiefs. It now is extremely likely that we will avoid them. In spite of all the glaring flaws on this roster, that fact alone means we have the best chance we've had in the Allen era.

  12. He’s had this opinion for a while now, and it’s correct. The most deflating thing for me was hearing Pats fans talk about how their FA signings and draft picks have been such a hit this year. Outside of Bosa, Hawes and Walker, we’ve gotten next to nothing. Hoecht, PED suspension then immediately done for the year. Hairston, injury, still getting acclimated. Sanders, injury, playing out of position now. Jackson, nothing, then hurt. Palmer, basically hurt all year. Ogunjobi, suspended, just a guy. This year was supposed the be the year we “took our medicine” on the Diggs trade for and it’s been one miss after another… at least this year so far, I certainly hold out hope for guys like Hairston & Sanders.

  17. Mildly indifferent and somewhat cautious of her. Shes been my boss for nine years. We live in different states and only speak 15 minutes a week on average. She pretty much leaves me alone for the most part. However, Ive seen her save her own hide dozens of times in my 15 year career. She is a survivor who will throw you under the bus in a second. Shes given me one promotion in my 15 years with the company. But I work from home three days a week, have 7 weeks of vacation a year, and make good money. So I pretty much try to stay under the radar. On the plus side Ive seen 3 layoffs in my time with the her as my boss and she never fires me. Thats a plus.

  21. This was my post on Cossell in the off-season and talking about our acquisitions: Greg Cosell uses a bunch of very broad words to describe every player and people think he's full of knowledge. He's been doing this for years. These are his EXACT words from that ESPN segment: Him on Bosa: "Durability is a factor and can be a factor as a pass rusher. He's not dominate but he's effective" Him on Hoecht : "He's a very disciplined player, he sets things up for other people and can play everywhere." Him on Larry Ogunjobi: "Classic rotational player that's solid. He's a guy you want in your DT room and he's a good rotational player. He's just one of those players that no one thinks about because he doesn't get sacks but he's critical" Him on Palmer: "He's 6'1 210 and I thought he could be a good player. He has a lot of traits and vertical ability and maybe he needed a change of scenery." Oh thanks for the insight, Greg!   23. Think of it this way: Baltimore was said to be one of, if not the, most talented rosters in the league before the season began. If they make it in they could be a problem but their schedule is brutal down the stretch. Bengals could be tough if they somehow win that division, but their entire team is based on Burrow throwing to Higgins and Chase, which is hard to stop but when you only pass eventually something bad, like a sack fumble, key drop, tipped pass INT, or just a bad throw, is bound to happen eventually. I'd worry about the Ravens in the playoffs but nobody else. I see people scared of the Texans. The TEXANS! LOL Yes, they beat us on TNF and sacked Allen like 71 times. Atlanta beat us pretty good also on MNF. Would you be scared to see them in the playoffs? IF the Ravens make it in, they will be the trendy pick and ALL the pressure will be on Lamar to get it done with that supporting cast and defense.

  26. We all have our thresholds for “max stupidity”. For the esteemed Frankish, a fierce independent, that threshold is a republican using campaign funds inappropriately. Probably the first time that’s ever happened. Mine was when the word “Latinx” became a brief thing. If that wasn’t enough, we then had the likes of Redhawk, ostensibly a doctor (albeit a poor one), and KBJ become confused about what a woman is. This despite several prior decades of knowing the answer to that vexing question.
